We'll be having some extra-currucular adventures before encountering them in bulk, though we might have some minor encounter, or hints concerning them before that point. Hmm... I know :D

It will be nice to see Zein in a rp again.

Indeed, I may have disliked his Warhammer preference, but he is very much interested in Space military fiction. Although this may be closer to a space odyssey; we do have factions, and the RP could shift focus to that aspect at any moment. We do have military personnel, and the situation could prove deadly. Especially as we'll be heading right to the sector that houses the invading force.

So, has it been 10 or 20 years since the invasion? I've almost got the OP post finished, just need this information. I'm ok with anything from 10 to 20 years.

If it was 10 years, then my character might have fought them as well...........

I think something past 10, that's my suggestion.

I have an idea of when to start, and what should be going on, it's just putting it all into words. Anyone who wants to help out in this may contact me via TG.

I don't know. I like to launch on Fridays or Weekends.

I don't think we should wait so long, people will lose interest.

It's true, and where relatively all on tonight, and no matter how brief, I do have the OP post ready (with some consideration I have made it 26 years since the invasion).

I could post it, and with time, the players will post upon it, and we may gain additional interest. Details will be filled in as our character interact. These details can then be added to the OOC OP post, and eventually, to the wiki it's self.

Does this sound acceptable?

Yes, we are in space, getting ready for the Odysseus to leave dock, and enter the unknown :)

I figured starting here would make logical sense, thus, increasing the chance that our characters will come out through interaction.

Correct, the Odysseus is in a drydock connected to the station, which operates as an observational outpost near the warp gate.

Name: Caius Stavrou
Planet and System of Origin: Siuhl(Kovlen 1), Kovlen System
Race: Saestean Celestii (Siuhlite)
Age: 26(3, Siuhlite age)
Gender: Male
Appearance:
In armor
Without armor
Role: Pilot
Equipment and Weapons:
Norby A-1a5 Beam Rifle 'Raimund'
Borjeson 1 Polis Side arm
Two swords, strapped to his back during battle.
Skills:
Caius was a hunter on Siuhl, making him very good at hand to hand combat. He isn't trained, but he is lethal just with his teeth and claws.
He is fairly accurate with even automatic weapons with high recoil like the Norby. His senses, improved naturally help with these abilities.
Caius is as fast on two legs as he is on four. Aside from being a good pilot, Caius can also repair minor ship damages, though he works better on smaller, combat optimized crafts.

Personality:
Caius is particularly gentle towards cubs, or in other words, anyone younger than himself. He won't stand to see anyone, even one of another race be hurt without him saying anything about it. His determination and loyalty are exceptional, and often reacts violently to unfaithfulness. On his planet he faces dangers almost every day on every job he does, this has made him fearless in the face of death. It has also made him quite arrogant.

History:
As a pup, Caius has always dreamed of flying out of the planet. He was born with three other cubs to a financially stable family. His father was a pilot himself, and well supported his son's wishes. Linden, the town in which Caius was born sat on a small rock island far from the larger cities such as Ohs, Sprengporten, and Birch. Later, enough money for his education is collected, and is sent to Sprengporten to learn.
Most of the city people were very good builders and pilots. The smaller villages were inhabited by fishermen and hunters. There was no land in Siuhl that could be farmed on. In Sprengporten, Caius met many youths that were also yearning to fly out into the sky. Not too long after his arrival, he is admitted into a flying school that used small ships from the Umbrex Empire. During his time in the capital, Caius learned much, and noted a lot of things as he grew. Siuhl was slowly improving as a sovereign planet, but its people stayed quite the same. He has never been to another planet, and may feel excessively afraid around others not like himself.

Accepted, I'll get the information up. We have our first non-human alien crew member, Caius of Siuhl, a Free world of the Kovlen Star System, and a former colonial world of the Umbrex Empire.

Hmm... sounds like a good way to get to know the characters, always a good idea to do these things before being trapped in space with these people for an extended period of time.

(still not sure if I should post how Stella reacts to the captain being on deck, though, as our phycatrist has made it to the bridge such reaction would now be in the past, ok, good, good, I don't have to post it)

I would suggest trying to go in order of vitality to the mission, currently the first step will be enter the warp gate, thus the pilots should be examined first (I volunteer). It'll be nice to see the request come though upon the Captains response.

Name: Faurrus Arkenson
Planet and System of Origin: Holm 3 (Lumar), Lumar Empire
Race: Human
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://www.deviantart.com/art/pilot-male-116813865
Role: Security/Military Personnel
Equipment and Weapons: Photonic Blade, plasma rifle, plasma pistol, com-link
Skills: Fast reflexes, good aiming, fast runner, photographic memory
Personality: He doesn't like to talk a whole lot, but he speaks when he feels it is necessary. Other then this, Forrus has sort of a cold personality, mainly due to his background.
History: Forrus was born to a poor family on Lumar. He was forced into servitude at an early age. However, he eventually made enough money to buy his freedom, and, with no other options, decided to join the military. He was a grunt at first, but he slowly worked his way up in the ranks, as he caught on to his training very quickly. He became very educated and graduated at the top of his class and served on several missions for the Lumar Empire. He was eventually assigned to the NC-2100 "Odysseus". Forrus immediately saw interest in his assignment, as he also loved exploration.
