Rouge Sat for a moment with Grace in her paws wishing she could undo everything she had done. When Grace stormed off she simply sat on her knees and leaned against the couch with a heavy, ragged sigh. She allowed herself to slide sideways so she lay on the floor and curled up into a ball with her tail covering her face as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Pitch watched as Grace leave, and felt that he might have jumped the gun a bit, there. When he watched Roo curled up into a ball, Pitch walked towards her, and got down onto the floor, beside her. The black unicorn then wrapped his hooves around the vixen, and held her tight. "Shhhhhhh." hushed Pitch, comforting his fiance, "Let's just go home, for a while." He cocked his head towards Shade, and Clover. "Keep an eye on things, will you?" asked Pitch. Shade and Clover nodded. Then, Pitch's horn lit up, and he and Roo, vanished from existence, rematerializing, in Pitch's shack. "We're home, my love." he said softly, as he caressed Rouge, gently.

Blink
Blink looked in terror at the doctor, immediately going through dozens of traumatic flashbacks from her time at the asylum. Images of tall figures in white labcoats, her mind substituted the faces for blanks with only a massive smile. She began trembling as they advanced with various coloured syringes, murmuring things that didn't make sense despite being words. She lashed out and hit them back in her mind, throwing Grace and the doctor off of her as she looked around in a panic, her bright yellow coat seemed to blanch white as her ears flopped back in terror. "L-leave me alone! I'M NOT BROKEN!" She yelled and turned to run, hitting one of the walls and staggering back over a chair causing her to hit her head on a table. "S-stop hurting me! P-please!" She said and cowered under the table, her pupils were dilated as she looked into a world that wasn't there. The chair shaped doctor reared up and attempted to strike her but she lashed out again, punching him back and cracking the table in reality. She whimpered at the loud noise and began backing away. She looked around in a panic and began to sniffle, "I w-want G-Gracey! W-where's m-my G-gracey?!" She asked in a fearful whine.

Sunbreaker
Sunbreaker giggled when Trit spoke, "Which, by definition, makes Steam ponies hotter than Steam Anthros" she retorted and stuck out her tongue cheekily. She turned to the steam pony and stroked the spot on it's neck where a mane would have been but was replaced with a bunch of exhaust/ventilation pipes. "Isn't that right?" She asked with a giggle. No reply. "Are you a boy?" Two taps. "So you're a girl then?" Two taps. "Do you have a name?" Two taps. "Would you like a name?" No reply. "Gah this is frustrating." She said and sighed.

She sniffled and tightened her grip still as she cried, hoping in agony her tears would make Blink better somehow as they fell onto Blink's mechanical coat and down to the floor.

Jorgen stared at the pony a little longer. "Oh, I get it... That's incredible..."

"What do you get?" Trit stared at him, wondering what he saw that she didn't.

Jorgen was silent, staring at the pony, his mechanical eye scanning it fervently, taking in every bit of its mechanical workings.

Angel looked at the hand with a raised eyebrow before she carried on walking to the tavern, ignoring it. "Angel, Angel Lincoln. Literary professor." She said flatly and entered the bar which was full of civilized people despite it's proximity to the slums, mostly because slum dwellers earned no income so they couldn't afford to drink there. She sat down at a table and called a waiter over. "What do you want to drink? You know, before you die from blood loss, infection, shock or fear of rationality that is." She said and sighed again as she asked the waiter to bring her a coffee. She gestured for him to order and opened her book again, resuming where she left off.

Rouge
Rouge sniffled and looked around. She stood up and draped a limp paw over Pitch's back. She wiped tears off her damp face and sighed. "Can we just go to bed? I need a hug, a really long, intimate, hug." She said depressedly and kissed Pitch's cheek. "It is still your birthday remember." She said, lightening up as she walked into their shack and immediately threw her overcoat onto the couch. "A massage would be nice too." She said with a half-hearted giggle which seemed more like a sigh than anything else.

Blink
Blink sniffled and rubbed against Grace's neck. Suddenly the two reappeared in her horror house of a room. The rainbow being the only thing that vaguely resembled normality in the blood splattered padded cell. She and Grace sat under the rainbow, her hooves still limp at her sides as she desperately wished she could rip them off. The bumps on her back felt like cold lumps in her spine as she leaned against the wall with Grace's hooves around her. Her sobs subsided into silent, hitched breaths and sniffles. She sat there feeling utterly pointless, as if all purpose had left her body, ripped out by the machine that had taken over the rest of her. She hid her minuscule frame under Grace's hug, moving all her metallic additions away from her dearest friend as she tried to enjoy the hug, craving the sensation of something touching her coat, a sensation her hooves could no longer deliver. "G-G-Gracey . . . Am I a freak now?" She asked softly.

Grace gazed down to Blink, the details of her house completely obstructed from view as her own yellow eyes seared into Blink's. She shook her head as she bit her lower lip, desperately fighting the urge to cry. "N-noo...." She whispered sadly, the tears now falling once again as she felt them sting her already reddened eyes. "...y-you'll always be... you'll always be the Blinkey I know and love... it's the inside..." She whispered, pressing Blink's chest gently. "...It's the inside t-that matters..." She pulled her into another tight hug, her tears having all dried up as she could no longer muster up anymore to give.

He requested a glass of water, and additional empty glass, and a few napkins of the waiter. The humid air, ringing with the general din of drinking and socialization, did wonders to his throat, but the rest of his body still screamed for satisfaction. "I know what I need, Mrs. Lincoln." He made a point of calling her 'Mrs', to see if she would accept the title or reject it for 'Ms'. Waiting for his drink, he began tapping the table, and casting a look at her. "There has been a mannerism you seem to have adopted that gnaws at my conscience, Mrs. Lincoln. Call it a modest level of intuition, but you approach me, buy me a drink... and what? I have seen just as many people that act out of the goodness of their hearts as people who act out of the direction of the wind in my life, and I doubt you are the first of either of these groups I will chance upon."
Atha leans back and pulls his hood up when the waiter returns, graciously taking both glasses and the napkins. Taking the empty glass and placing one of the napkins on it, he then poured the other glass of water through the cloth, murmuring about how he couldn't trust the water.

She said softly and sobbed a little as she enjoyed the hug, seeming to burrow into Grace's hug as if it were a blanket on a freezing winter's night.

Clock stayed still for a moment, only the ticking of its mechanisms worked. It tapped once and suddenly an unearthly screech rent the air as it purposefully jammed two gears over each other. It used the same gears to make an odd clicking sound and also a high pitched whirring noise. Sunbreaker sighed and looked the steam pony, "I guess you're supposed to be talked to like the bruisers on their weird communication net thingy." She said and smiled before hugging it again which prompted an odd whir which sounded almost like purring. She chuckled , "Hear that? I think Clock likes me." She said cheerfully.

"Well... education made no difference in the countless others that met my suffering with apathy while walking past me in the street." He offered, to appease her defensiveness. "Could you really blame me with assuming that there was more to it than the common humanity man shows to man?" He removes the napkin and takes a generous gulp from his cup. "I was assuming you had ill intentions, not amorous ones... truly, you flatter yourself." He said around his water, putting the cup down. "Not that I am complaining for your company. It is certainly helping me more than a salve of weeds and dog shit being rubbed into my wounds by a grey-faced apothecary."

Trit had no idea what the hell any of this meant, but she leaned back where she was sitting, observing.

Pell had left the room several minutes ago.

The walk was mostly uneventful as they headed back to Mac's ruined house, except for the moment when Mac, unable to resist the urge, found his hoof wondering to Concerto's rump and looked at him with a foolish grin and chuckled. "I . . . Erm . . . Sorry, I should probably learn a little self-control shouldn't I. Hehe yeah." He said and placed his hooves firmly on the ground in front of him, soon they would arrive back at the house.

Concerto

Concerto couldn't help but blush, and smiled back at Mac. "It's alright, I really don't mind, to be honest. If you want to touch my flank, go right ahead." Concerto said, quietly, with a deepening blush on his face. "Oh, well, wouldn't you know it; we're already back at your place!" Concerto said as they arrived back at Mac's house. "You wouldn't happen to have any paper and a quill, would you, Mac? For those ponies that aren't already here, it would be convenient to put up a note on the door." Concerto said, smiling up at Mac.

Pitch smiled, and nodded, before giving Roo as nice big hug. "Sure. You need a massage after all that you have been through." he said, "Don't you worry about me, Roo. You suffered a lot, today." Pitch got behind Roo, and got onto his hindlegs as he placed his hooves on her shoulders. He began to move his hooves, in a circular motion, applying pressure to Roo's shoulders. "There," said Pitch, "Doesn't this feel nice?"

(Signal is reeeaaally bad here might not be able to reply as much)
Subreaker
Clock clicked to acknowledge Jorgen's acknowledgment. Sunbreaker felt completely infatuated by the machine, in a purely platonic way of course . . . For now. She looked at Clock curiously and placed a gentle hoof on his face. "Can you feel my touch?" She asked. Two taps. "But you like hugs?" One tap. "You're weird." She said, Clock replied with a loud screech. "OKAY, OKAY! Not weird!" She said at which he stopped the screeching and whirred a little. "Jeez, touchy much." She muttered.

Angel
Angel didn't look up from her book. "Clearly I'm the one doing the flattery." She muttered with an edge of sarcasm on her voice. She shook her head skeptically while she read and sighed, "Oh no, I was definitely going to mug you with my book." She said with more sarcasm. "Also, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You must have been completely inebriated if you know the word amorous and yet you thought I, the one wearing the decent dress would mug you. Honestly, mugging is more dangerous than mineshaft labour." She said and shook her head. "Now, are you going to explain why you appear to be close to death?" She asked with a hint of curiosity.

Rouge
Rouge almost went limp as she felt his hooves rub her shoulders. After the hectic day it was truly heavenly. She pulled him along and lay, face down, on the bed with a blissful sigh as he continued the massage. She groaned happily as he worked his way up and down her back. "You know Pitch, if it weren't for the fact that we're engaged I would've suggested you sign on with Oddity. You have magic hooves Pitch." She said as an involuntary quiver shook her body. "While you may think I'm worrying about you love, I enjoy those things as much as you do, its a coping mechanism I guess." She said with her voice muffled by the bed.

Mac
Mac smiled happily and nodded, "Of course, how else am I supposed ta send ransom notes?" He said with a joking chuckle and went inside, he waved hello to Shade and Shamrock cheerfully, "Hi guys, we found a new hideout. It's an Opera house." He said and pulled out some parchment and a quill which he dipped in ink and wrote, "The cogs have been moved to " and took the parchment to Concerto, "Simply fill in the name and we're good sexy flank." He said with a smile and took his spot next to Concerto. "I'll put my hooves all over yer rump a little later, sound fun?" He added with a sly chuckle and a wink. "Maybe even me lips if yer persuasive enough." He said cheerfully.

Aurora had been sprinting for some minutes, and, now, she was beginning to wonder where she gotten this stamina fun. Probably just because she was excited. Or maybe being insane just so happens to be excellent for your heart, who knew. Not far ahead was the entrance to the core, and she skidded to a rough halt, breathing heavily infront of the entrance and the guards stationed there. "Hi...i'm...Aurora...."

Concerto

Concerto smiled as he filled in the street name of the new base. He took the quill in his mouth, bit down lightly, and wrote the corner of Music Street and Orchestra Road on the paper, blushing as he listened to Mac. "That sounds simply divine; I'd love to have your hooves on my flank." Concerto said, his blush deepening a little as he gently put down the quill. "Of course, I'm sure that we could have even more fun in bed, if you know what I mean." Concerto said with a shy smile on his face, his blush deepening a little.

Mac chuckled and slyly kissed Concerto's rump while nobody was looking. "I thought ye'd never ask, are we goin' ta the hotel or yer sister's place? Might be better ta go ta the hotel. Could be a little awkward fer yer sister." He said and pushed his flank up against Concerto's side while rubbing his chest. "Now or later, yer choice." He said and turned Concerto's head so he could give him a forcible kiss.

Concerto let out a quiet moan as he returned Mac's kiss. "Well, Shining would probably have a few reservations about her younger brother bucking somepony in her house, so it probably would be best to get a hotel for an hour or so. Well, I mean, she probably wouldn't say anything about it or interrupt us, but it would still be a little rude, so a hotel's probably best." Concerto said, pulling away gently from Mac, a smile on his face. "Unless you want to meet my sister now, I'm up for having a little fun with this time." Concerto said, shyly.

I have learned these massage skills, from the very best." he said, with a giggle. "Besides, I don't think anyone other than you, would want someone... Well, someone, like me, giving them a massage. Especially with my track record... You know, I don't know what I would do without you, Roo."

He chuckles at her claims of harmlessness, clearly not convinced by any means, but amused all the same. "Where I live, or lived, rather... no amount of finery buys someone trustworthiness. It is a place where truly everyone wears a mask. For some it is over their visage, and others it is over their soul. Either way, you beware the lady in the fine dress as much as the sailor with a dagger pending on his necklace, for either of them could be the end of you."
He folded his hands in front of his face, concealing most of what wasn't framed in shadow by his hood. "I am not really sure..." He began, temporarily deciding to confide in her, before thinking better of it. "... that I can trust you with that quite yet. Death came after me for a reason dear to my heart, and such is not something I readily spill out to passersby without knowing them."
