At any rate, it might be argued that we should be using fillyfeeler instead if we're going to use coltcuddler since cuddling is a warmer, fuzzier term and 'feeling' is vague enough to make it into a nicer meaning, like feeling love for another mare instead of another stallion, as compared to fooling, upon which might pop the word 'around' behind: whimsical and best and off-putting a term at worst.
