Everyone is gathering in the communal dining room to meet and greet. There's a lot of Roman decorations.
Is that what you mean?

Most of the characters are at a party in the dining room. It started as a hastily-decorated party thrown by Kale to meet others, but then Hans decided to give Chrys a bouquet, the cultists got involved, and said cultists totally redecorated. The dining room, if I remember correctly, is on the first floor (second story.). I believe there is info on OOC Page 1. Also, Kale just added a ton of flowers.
In other news, Internet access is highly sporadic and hence I am unlikely to be online much in the next few hours. Hope you're all having a great whatever time of day, and my sympathies to anyone who is not.

After looking around, he saw there was a party going on. "Oh goody, a party." He walked in and looked around at how many other people were there. "My, oh my. This should be fun." He rubbed his hands together and walked in. He noticed there were many other people and even a few cultists, but he didn't even know of the existence of the cultists and thought they were simply new to the apartment, although they seemed eerily familiar. He thought about if he should join in and decided, why not?
The Factory of Spike wrote:Motimer got up from the floor. He needed to pull himself together. He started to walk around the party, looking for the people Nick had recommended he talk to. Willow and Giovenith were on other sides of the room. He decided to talk to Willow first. He walked up and said, "Hello, I'm Mortimer. I'm new here." He was staying very focused about thinking normal thoughts that allowed him to function normally.
John woke up. It was still dark outside. "Oh well," he said. He was tired. He took a shower and brushed his teeth. He ran downstairs. "Hi guys!" He walked over to Minerva. She was stern but he had a question.
A darkened room greeted John as his eyes fluttered open. The sun had yet to rise beyond his window. The man sighed as he pulled himself from bed, resolved to get the day started despite the early hour. A lukewarm shower somewhat revived him but not enough to scrape away his fatigue.
The apartment door snapped shut behind him and he made his way through familiar halls led mostly by his nose. Enticing smells were wafting up the stairwell, undoubtedly coming from the communal kitchen, and John stepped into the dining room to find a large gathering in progress. He spotted a few familiar faces and nodded to them. Minerva was nearby and, although she tended to be stern, she probably had answers to a few of his questions from the night before.
"Hi Minerva. I was wondering if you had a few minutes. I've got some things on my mind."

Many of my posts are done on a tablet or a phone. It makes it more difficult to type, especially if you don't have a keyboard attachment for your tablet, but you can still add a bit to fill out a post.
Short posts leave the other person with very little to work off of.

Anyway, it's a bit of a volatile combination. Please, if I'm curt or snappish or something, don't take it too personally. Also, Nick will remain asleep for the moment.
