I know its a bit odd, but there are a lot of nasty jungle bugs that could have been spread in en-mass by the Federalist exodus of the local Amerindians and spread rapidly due to the massive population concentration enforced by their military. I can tell you it is NOT going to spread much farther, if at all, due to its particular nature.

Let's just say next event's theme is "What goes around, comes around" and leave it at that.

Considering the Axis have ridiculous numbers of bad karma, if you believe in such things, I predict some kind of upheaval.

Yes, we did. Whether they are German, British or Moroccan, every foreigner on the Falklands is a foreign invader.

Except for the whole "They were there first and want to stay there" thing.

Also, can whoever's Vichy please answer my question? I'd like to post again, but I can't accurately gauge how close the Free French would have gotten to Dakar without knowing how many people stand in their way.

If you don't answer by noon (Central Standard time), I'm just going to go with a wild-a** guess and start bombarding the city and storming its outskirts.

Then the collapse of your trading partners in South America would have been even more acute, since they would have made up a greater percentage of your international trade. Either way, the result is the same.

Well, you also have that massive deflationary issue, a credit economy, and to be fair, you can't not have trade with South America; if you didn't, where are you exporting your manufactured goods to? Where do you get your rubber, your precious, precious caffeine? This "karma" was for having an uber-rightest economy, denouncing Communism and state controls, and all that similar jazz: its not punishment for genocide: its the natural "goes around, comes around" boom-bust cycle of an unrestrained free-market economy. Similar to how the Chinese diden't commit any genocide, but invading another Chinese nation results in other Chinese nations invading them: poetic justice.

And the reason the Axis didn't get bitch slapped is because next round is going to be a round devoted up uprisings...

I may be dropping out of this RP. Despite the fact Gran believes I'm lying, I did in fact have an agreement with Japan, and the Japanese had granted North China permission to invade and subjugate Southern China. Linh Kai even showed them the military plans for the offensive. The Japanese have no reason to have their Manchu and Mongol puppets attack.

A) That was never finalized in IC. I reviewed the posts very carefully. OOC agreements, particularly one this major, do not have IC authority.
B) They do have a bloody good reason: a united China is very, very, obscenely bad for continued Japanese hegemony over the mainland. As Lunas so graciously pointed out, the most logical reason for Japan to allow such an action was to hope you two weakened each other. However, with the Republicans on the brink of winning, that idea goes right down the tubes, and the threat of having one power controlling all of coastal China rears its ugly head. It would only make sense for Japan to both try to restrict Republican expansion, and break up Chinese national identity, by pitting the regions against one another.

And I'm sorry if I'm not letting you play Republican China as a superpower. But the fact it, its not. Its a subject state with little to no industry, a fairly cobbled-together territory, under economic and military restrictions by Japan since they got their territory raped and their army slaughtered less then 20 years ago.

But since we don't have a Japan player, those talks were never finalised and the Japanese motive is unknown (whether they wanted you weak or not).

However, somewhat ironically, you've just been given a good opportunity. Negotiate with South China to keep everything you currently occupy and make south China a protectorate and the turn your armies northwards to annex Manchuria.

Mao will invade Mongolia, keeping them tied down, you get most of South China, possibly Manchuria, I get Mongolia, and Japan gets a beating.

Or, you could RP Republican China until it is defeated by the Japs, and then take over RPing Mughalistan or someone.

A correction to the random event:
The partisans aren't forcing people to evacuate, they are assisting evacuation. Also, not sure why Siberia is ignoring the refugees, and why people are still running at the main passes when partisan scouts are advising them of the safest ones (that's what responsible for twenty meant. they are doing whatever they can for the fleeing civilians.)

Despite this, it was realistic. The winter would and did take a toll on the civilians, but without the winter the Germans would take a worse toll on them. (If the winter hadn't come, many of the civilians would have starved to death anyway, and hypothermia would have instead been frying under a German flamethrower. 4/10 is better than 9/10 or even 10/10) I still think it was a good call. Honestl I think it is a good policy to RP the consequences of events, so that nobody shouts god mod.
