Tokyo can change it's mind. It may have given permission in the hope that both sides would wear each other down, and now that a victor is all but certain, it may withdraw that and decide to pounce on a (possibily) weaker China.

I doubt I'm going to get anyone willing to do so, but I'll ask anyway; would anyone be willing to sell (relatively) modern equipment to a Communist Persia (which will happen, when I get round to having Stalin launch his coup) and/or Mao?

And none of your insane 50+ ton tanks. All I need is AA guns, turrets and tank chassises. I'll stick ZiS-3 AT guns in the turrets, and call them T-59s.
