It should also be noted Germany is a nuclear power, while Italy isn't.

Had to re-edit my post to include me accepting the offer from the Irish and such. Looks like I've created my own little sphere of influence :3.

Going to try and post tonight or tomorrow morning. Just not sure what to post, other then normal resistance stuff. Also is Australia an npc, or controlled directly by Japan?

Likely doesn't give two blinks. Afghanistan isen't in anybody (besides the Internationale's) influence and produces little in the way of easy-to-obtain raw materials. Though... just remember what happens every time foreigners go into that country...

Could there be a Spanish Republican controlled rump state in the Canary Islands backed by America? It could be similar to Taiwan vs PRC in our world and lead to some interesting situations

I want to hear a response about this before posting my app...

Player Name: Forty Twoania
Organization Name: The Spanish Republic(Government only controls Canary Islands)
Leader: Diego Martínez Barrio (Head of Government in Canary Islands) Valentín González (Leader of Rebels in Spain)
Ideology: Republicanism
Nationality: Spanish
Members: 4 million with popular support in various regions
Resources: Control over Canary Islands. Huge support in regions that supported the Republic during the Civil War including Valencia, Catalonia, Cantabria, and Andalusia. Urban parts of Portugal give some suport. Their is support in Madrid but it is kept down by large presence of Nationalist troops in the city. Castilla y Leon, though it isn't completely in support of the Republic, it hates the Nationalist regime even more. The Castillians see the Nationalist as German puppets and therefore traitors similar to their opinion of the French in 1808.
Origin: (Used events from the 1936 rp)
The Spanish Civil War (1937-1938) was one of the most important events in Spain's history. It started as a military coup headed by Franco. It was planned to begin in 1936 but rearrangements of generals to different posts in the Republican army forced Franco to delay the Coup to 1937. At first the Coup seemed to be going fine for Franco but his luck ran out when Portugal invaded nationalist Spain quickly taking Vigo. As News spread about the Portuguese intervention the Nationalist lines collapsed in mainland Spain and by the end of the year Franco only held Spanish Morocco and Navarre. Franco attempted to escape to France through via French Morocco but he was caught by French authorities and was returned to Spain. In 1939 he was executed. By 1940 the last small pockets of Fascist resistance had been extinguished. With most of the world at war the Republic enjoyed about a decade of peace followed by a few more years of tranquility while Germany rebuilt Europe, but by 1955 Germany began to put attention back on the last true Democracy of Europe. Tensions rose and in 1957, 20 years after the start of the Spanish civil war, German troops were welcomed into Vichy France and crossed the Pyrenees. Portugal, knowing it would not survive the fall of Spain to Fascists, joined the fight with Spain on the slim hope that together Iberia had a better chance of victory. The Spanish Republic in a cruel twist of fate fell to the Germans as fast as Franco. In January 1958 Spain and Portugal surrendered the Governments of both countries evacuated to the Canary Islands where they were protected by the still loyal Spanish Navy and were offered protection by the U.S.
Internal Policy: Rule over the Canary islands is similar to rule over Spain during 1939-1956. It is the last Eurasian Democracy.
Organization Goal: Take Control of the Spanish State and reestablish Spanish Republic.
Domestic Policy (If recognized): isnt this the same as internal policy
Foreign Policy (If recognized): Maintains relations with Western Hemisphere Democracies. Viewed as the legitimate Government of Spain by them.
Patron (Country or group):Mostly U.S and Mexican Support
Area of Operation: Spain

He's provisionally holding the position, but needs to actually get some kind of military numbers put together before I can allow him to make any military action.

Grand, what would it take to get the Siberians to unify with the resistance?
Also, Siberia has more than ten times the population of Transamur, just so you know. It's probably going to be a cakewalk for them. (Population was never purged by the Germans so starts out with about 38 million, 15% of Russians deported to Siberia before the Germans killed 50%, so about 55 million, subtract a couple million for Transamur, whereas Transamur only has 6 million today)

Of course not. But I expect " hey Germany, since we're good friends now, can you let us rebuild our military more now? please? "

Instead, I've got a bunch of French fascists cramped into a dark room with a single swinging dim light. Hovering over a map from 1821 wistfully, with a portrait of a short Corsican looking on in sullen silence in the background, whilst they mumble about revenge on those "damned upjumped Prussians" for Waterloo.
