"Mr President, we were already concerned about Khalil's domestic moves but this is completely unexpected." The Vice President, Meg Whitman stated.

"I know, Meg. I am not taking any chances on this however. I want the National Guard and the reserves called up. Have them and the regulars seal the borders, and want the Joint Chiefs working on action plans. Do you think you can handle the situation until I can finish up our business here?"

"Mr President, you can count on me."

"Alright Meg. I have to return to Boris, give me posted."

Hector returned to the meeting room where Boris had been waiting.

"President Kosomov, how can the United States thank you for alerting us to this diplomatic communique?"

"I would like to bring our military into the 21st century, we have very few experienced soldiers and officers right now and we are not equipped to handle a war or even prevent cyber warfare, I would like to ask, if you can, send some of your best representatives of your armed forces to train and advise our soldiers and officers" Boris said

"Boris, that is easily doable. I'll have to talk to the Head of the Joint Chiefs about what all we can do exactly, but consider it already done. Anything else? Perhaps I could encourage US investment into Russia's energy sector to help further develop it?"

Andreas sat back in his office in downtown Toronto and watched the scene, protesters all around the building waving signs and shouting threats. With a frown, he turned away from the window and got to work on preparing for a new war. He called in the new Secretary of Defense, his cousin Louis Hart, and told him about the letter.
"You did what!?" shouted Louis.
"You know, just alerted the Russians that we can invade the US for their oil. I want you to station the Marines at the border and get the special forces ready."
"We don't have special forces suited for this." groaned Louis. "We're not warmongers."
"We are now." replied Andreas with a snap of the fingers. "Go see to it that we have special forces fit for an invasion by the end of the month. I don't care what you have to do, we're not backing off now."
"You should-"
"Silence!"

Good Morning! We would like to begin the process of increasing trade of ethanol to the United States in order to bolster the Brazilian economy. The Brazilian government is willing to increase our military and other economic benefits for United States companies, on the terms that your government puts small tax breaks or subsidies to companies who use Brazilian ethanol. I have a plan for a US-Canadian war. Basically, the US sends the NAVY SEALS to try and kill Andreas Khalil, but he escapes out of the country and the US takes over the Canadian government for about a month. But Khalil comes back with help from North Korea and fights a Canadian civil war.
