Although, I do like the idea that this is how we meet so can you take the bit about one boat floundering out? Then I'll post tomorrow
That would be godmodding, actually. Metagaming would be having characters act based on knowledge that they should not know, but that the writer happens to know OOC.

Nah, son. Britain was all like "yo, why my colonies be all uppity an' shit?!" And Lord Durham laid it straight: "they be wantin' legislation with representation, dawg."

New Caledonians are prompted to vote in the upcoming referendum to grant the state of Bennu greater autonomy or not. Elections for the Chancellor of the Dominion has the whole nation on edge.

Sure I hate myself for it, but fuck it, we invited this. It's sad, but at some point you just stop caring. People can scream and cry but nothing will ever get done about it. When was it last that a shooting incident like this (or any other) actually made people legitimately search for answers or try a new approach? None that I can think of, It's been the same people, shouting the same expletives with the same people dying.
I hear they have good internet over in Scandinavia.

I think Buj means 'powergaming.' Unlike godmodding and metagaming, it isn't an illegal act, merely an alleged playstyle, and is only really applicable in alt history walled-garden threads, since in canon NS, you can make your nation whatever you want it to be.
But generally it means playing for the sole objective of accumulating power, and becoming more powerful than other players. This gets tricky since realistically, nations are intensely competitive, and many are looking to accrue such power over others, so it's very difficult to identify someone who is truly powergaming vs. someone who is simply playing an expansionist, imperialist nation. It can be pretty common for anyone who thinks anyone else is expanding too quickly to label them a 'powergamer,' which again is very difficult to prove.

@Neo, thanks :3
EDIT: I've found the exact opposite definition for powerplaying as well. Well whatever, its basically godmodding.

Yeah, on NS, controlling another player's forces (without their permission) just falls under godmodding in general.

Yes, I prefer NS rather than Eurovision.

Controlling the other player without his approval has it's own name and is called "bunnying".
Also, new screenshots of the mod at the weekend.

In several years here, I've never seen that term used, even when it's actually occurred and people have been called out on it.

And judging from the precedent set by Orson's expansion, I can add approximately nine provinces. So can I just add the Greek stuff? That's more important, and I can resubmit another map.
