That would be godmodding, actually. Metagaming would be having characters act based on knowledge that they should not know, but that the writer happens to know OOC.

I STILL don't know what power playing is. I've either never run into it, or no one I was with recognized it.

I think Buj means 'powergaming.' Unlike godmodding and metagaming, it isn't an illegal act, merely an alleged playstyle, and is only really applicable in alt history walled-garden threads, since in canon NS, you can make your nation whatever you want it to be.

But generally it means playing for the sole objective of accumulating power, and becoming more powerful than other players. This gets tricky since realistically, nations are intensely competitive, and many are looking to accrue such power over others, so it's very difficult to identify someone who is truly powergaming vs. someone who is simply playing an expansionist, imperialist nation. It can be pretty common for anyone who thinks anyone else is expanding too quickly to label them a 'powergamer,' which again is very difficult to prove.

In several years here, I've never seen that term used, even when it's actually occurred and people have been called out on it.

Bunnying? Never heard of it.
I assume it is regional vernacular. OTL, for example, in on NS in my experience less used that the similar IRL. It does not seem odd that perhaps godmod may be a similar term to bunnying, which may be more used in other parts of the grand interwebbings.
