Alright. I think by this time, I should have full control of the Netherlands. I'm gonna expand slowly towards Western Germany, possibly a small bit of Denmark, just not too large so I can have Neo have his area. You'll see the claims when I make the post and map.

Then I'll stop until ships get to me so I can sail to Kent.

I am more focused on stretching north and west first to pick up North Swedish Horses and metal deposits atm, though I would like the Danish Isles while you take Jylland.

Yeah, I'm not gonna go crazy on expansion. I'll probably get up to Dalarna and Gavleborg then chill for about a thousand years, probably building up good relations with (and later annexing) the Sami people equivalents.

Being the pessimist I am, I don't plan to have a golden age until quite a while after 0 AD.

By the way, how would we explain the switch in time from BC to AD?

I'd really like to join but I'm confused as to what time-period the RP takes place, as well as the fact that there is no map and I'm not really up to reading through thirty-some pages of apps. If anyone could show me to a point of reference so I could get an app I would be much obliged.

Make an app on the first page. We started at 1500 BCE and will RP up until we decide to stop, usually 1900 AD.

State/National Religion: Most of the tribes worship various ancestors, folk heroes and nature spirits. Many have shared characteristics or origins.
Dominant Religion: Tribal Folk religions
Minority Religion(s): As the Oirzar people start to settle in ever larger cities, new and structured religions begin to spread.
Population: There is no official population census but the semi-nomadic nature of the Oirzar means they are sparsely populated (Numbers could be anywhere between 200 to 400 hundred thousand.
Military Organization: The Oirzar are organized by Tribal law and are led under the guidance of Tribal elders who serve as everything from General to Spiritual leaders. Under them their sons and brothers serve as enforcers of the Elders will, whether on the battlefield or in the camps.
Military Size: All men of fighting age are expected to defend their lands when called upon by the Elder. This means that in a defensive war the Oirzar could field a force of 150 thousand men, but in foreign campaigns their forces are limited to 30 thousand soldiers.
Fleet Size: Although the Oirzar are settled on the coast, they rely heavily on foreign influence for naval technology. Due to this their fleet comes in at a meager 50 craft, almost all of them trade vessels.

Brief Description of your nation's History: Forced from the lands around the Aral sea by climate change and migrating foreigners the Proto-Oirzars fled west towards the Caspian but found themselves at an impasse as many of the tribes wanted to flee south and others wanted to journey north. Those who journeyed north settled around the Sea of Azov roughly 2000 BC.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: For the vast majority of their history the Oirzars have relied on the bounty of sheep and wild grains to survive, it has only been recently that they have begun to pick up on the techniques of trade through contact with older and better established societies. Already the sale of slaves to labor hungry city-states has proven profitable.
Brief Description of your nation's government: Historically, the Oirzar were largely leaderless, making decisions through the consensus of the Elders. It has only been recently that the City of Gevva under the Vikimon clan has used its wealth and metal weapons to force its will upon the larger tribes of the Oirzar.

Military Size: All men of fighting age are expected to defend their lands when called upon by the Elder. This means that in a defensive war the Oirzar could field a force of 150 thousand men, but in foreign campaigns their forces are limited to 30 thousand soldiers.
Fleet Size: Although the Oirzar are settled on the coast, they rely heavily on foreign influence for naval technology. Due to this their fleet comes in at a meager 50 craft, almost all of them trade vessels.

Civil Freedoms: The Oirzar's social boundaries vary greatly from tribe to tribe, most are rather stringent in regards to the Elders and ancestors. Outside of shared cultural boundaries, freedoms and lack there of depend entirely on the Tribe.

Brief Description of your nation's History: Forced from the lands around the Aral sea by climate change and migrating foreigners the Proto-Oirzars fled west towards the Caspian but found themselves at an impasse as many of the tribes wanted to flee south and others wanted to journey north. Those who journeyed north settled around the Sea of Azov roughly 2000 BC.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: For the vast majority of their history the Oirzars have relied on the bounty of sheep and wild grains to survive, it has only been recently that they have begun to pick up on the techniques of trade through contact with older and better established societies. Already the sale of slaves to labor hungry city-states has proven profitable.
Brief Description of your nation's government: Historically, the Oirzar were largely leaderless, making decisions through the consensus of the Elders. It has only been recently that the City of Gevva under the Vikimon clan has used its wealth and metal weapons to force its will upon the larger tribes of the Oirzar.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: The Oirzar are a hardy people, born of the harsh lands of the steppe and central Asia. They spend most of their lives on horseback, moving with the winds. The city dwellers have begun to acquire the much softer characteristics of Europeans as they drift farther from their roots.
