Ha ha, Sievietism shall be the Christianity analogue, just as I planned. I'm waiting for the Second Crusade to wipe out Toraganism...

I thought Sievietism was like Islam ._.

I. You pretty much forgot everything we agreed on. I thought we stated:

Torganism is gonna be like Christianity
Sievietism is gonna be like Islam
Njordism is gonna be like Judaism.

What ever happened to that? Seriously ._. II. You are not wiping out Toraganism. Period. I'm serious too.

III. See #I. If Pol wants to be Sievietian, then let him be. Plus, monks can travel. They don't just sit in one place like a rock.
IV. Just watch me spread Sievietism to Western Europe. You can try to stop it, but you have yet to try it.
V. Aachen is an NPC? I'll send monks right away

Not even you can, apparently, which is the spelling that I used.

There's a lotta talk about missionaries and spreading the various religions. However, what makes those religions appealing? Who would bother adopting them over whatever local religion there may be? Toraganism is another pantheon; if it still uses national personifications, we run into the problems we brought up before and it wouldn't spread, at all.

I'm plowing through the IC and OOC, but I don't see what comprises Sievietism or Njordism (if it's anything like IRL, it's another pantheon). However, unlike Toraganism, Sievietism is being spread at the point of a sword, like Islam. At the moment, Sievietism's spread makes the most sense, compared to other essentially regional pantheons, unless Toraganism's appeal is addressed.

I think that you could create a monotheistic religion focused on redemption by some martyr's death and supposed resurrection.

The only instance of Sievietism being spread by the sword is when the Brendenish were conquered. (Well, it's also because it's being forced to be worshipped inside of the nation, but aside from those two instances it has been spread by monks & priests) The rest happened because of monks and priests travelling. For instance, I never invaded Baltica, Denmark, Brittany, Hungary, et cetera... Plus, Christianity was also spread by violence at one point. You know, those two or three hundred years of crusading...

Then we'll hang 'em, cut off their heads, and send them to the officials who managed to stay alive this long, and then later do the same again. The cycle will keep on repeating itself until the Eiri convert to Sievietism... or until the Preusenians decide it is time to move on to elsewhere. I dunno, one or the other.

Seriously not in character, but I just want to tell something.

Lithuania is seriously catching up to Western video game standards.
Last year on our shelves we had PS2, Xbox, Duke Nukem, Colin McRae and GTA: San Andreas.
This year we have PS4, Xbox One, Titanfall, GTA 5, CoD Ghosts and Assassin's Creed 3, as well as many more.
Quite a drastic change, I'd say.

Though, in current money earning speed, it would take me 9 years to buy an Xbox One (My parents don't even want to hear anything about consoles, and no wonder, it costs as much as their monthly wage), so I don't feel any difference.

You don't have to be cornered. Want to be allies? ;) Although your efforts of a Sumatran unification will have to be postponed until a later time. I plan on just settling the tip of the island (Banda Aceh-area) and leave the rest to whoever wants to conquer them. I'm moving more towards an Indochinese empire in the 13th century onwards.

I'm sure it's in here somewhere, but does anyone have the most recent map?

Along with this, I'd like to make contact of some sorts with the other nations around me. Anyone have any idea who those are? Considering I'm in South Ukraine?
