Historically the Han had more than twice as many people, although they also had much more land, which is why I lowered the estimate. The most fertile land falls within Shan territory though, generally.

Sorry, for my long absence, I'm assuming the Yhani have passed into either NPC or non-existent status. Mind If I re-apply? Also, TBF

Nation Name: Alun Jortha Khalas
Capital City: Kolkatan
Government Type: Multi-Ethnic Confederation
Head of State: Hetman - The head of the confederation, when elected, loses their birth name and takes the name Hetman - Leader - as a reminder to stay balanced and faithful to all of the groups in the Khalas.
Claimed Territory: http://i.imgur.com/89YocWw.png
State/National Religion: Local Polytheist Beliefs.
Dominant Religion: Local Polytheist Beliefs.
Minority Religion(s): Local Polytheist Beliefs.
Population: 1.5 million
Military Organization: The Alun military is composed of bands of warriors from each of the ethnic groups in the Khalas or confederation. The larger the group, the larger the levy, though only about 5% of the total levy is always active, and these troops are mostly border guards and city garrisons. To summon the full levy, the Hetman must first secure a simple majority of votes from the ethnic leaders, and if he gets this, riders are dispatched to round up the warriors and their leaders.
Military Size: 5,000 active at any time, 40,000 in total.
Fleet Size: 25 ships, mostly coastal galleys.
National Flag:
Image

Primary Culture: The Alunti group are the most populous of all the groups in the confederation.
Accepted Cultures: By population, in descending order: Jonyu, Kaiky, Abzyr, Nomtsh, Jyere, and Falnios.
Primary Import(s): Silks, Spices, Salt and Sugar.
Primary Export(s): Metals - both raw and refined - weapons, armor, pottery, Gold jewelry and other works of gold, Furs and Leather.
Trade Policy: The Khalas is relatively lenient in its policy of trade, merchants are free to operate and travel through the lands of the Khalas, selling their goods wherever they please, but must pay a tax upon entering or leaving a walled city of the Khalas. This tax amounts to 2.5% of their goods or the equivalent cost of this 2.5% in gold or another precious metal.
Civil Freedoms: The people under the Khalas are relatively free, the common folk are not bound to the lands they work, slavery is banned and seen as immoral, and a man's debts end when his life ends. They are, however, subject to their local tribal leader, and have to follow his laws and rules as well as those of the whole Khalas.

Brief Description of your nation's History: The mountains that the Khalas now holds a majority of were not always the peaceful place they are today. Before the founding of the Khalas, the mountains were a harsh place - filled with not only dangerous weather but 7 feuding ethnic groups that were always fighting for the fertile valleys that occasionally interrupted the snow-capped mountains. These valleys saw their fair shared of carnage, especially in the harsh winters, when whole groups began to run low on food, and raid their neighbors for extra food to get through the winters. A common saying in these early years was "Bloody winter, taller grain." As the groups fought for control, the two largest groups, Alunti and Jonyu, joined to form the Khalas - confederation - and the rest of the groups of the mountains followed them swiftly into this confederation.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: Most of the country is in a semi-feudal state by necessity, farmers needed protection in the early years from roaming bandits, and pledged a portion of their harvest to local strong-men to protect them. This continues to this day, but the founding of the Khalas allowed for the farmers to freely move inside the confederation, which lead to the growth of the main cities, as laborers who once only served their village moved to cities and set up guilds that collectively bargain for good prices for their works.
Brief Description of your nation's government: The Khalas is lead by both a council of the Ethnic groups, and the Hetman. The council makes laws and passes judgments on those laws, the Hetman negotiates with foreign groups, leads the main army, and picks military commanders.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: A diverse group of people is really the most accurate statement that can be made. Anything else is too specific.

RP Example: Already done so in previous apps.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.

So, what happened here?
Cerelia wrote:Nation Name: Tyver Luz
Capital City: Tyv
Government Type: Confederation of tribes
Head of State: Dyol Turik
Claimed Territory: Whatever can be spared around the Ukraine area.
State/National Religion: Luzan Cult (based predominantly on the Sagas of the North)
Dominant Religion: Luzan Cult
Minority Religion(s): Eastern Animism
Population: One million est.
Military Organization: Tyver Luz maintains a standing army, as well as small outposts surrounding the frontier. Due to the tribal nature of the nation, these soldiers hold loyalty to their Dyol lords as opposed to the state. Divisions of the armed forces range from lord to lord.
Military Size: Apprx. 3% of population
Fleet Size: There is no Tyver Luzan navy.
National Flag: (Put in a spoiler.)
Primary Culture: The Luzan culture is a distinct one in its own, descending from a nomadic people who migrated south from the cold fringes of the north. Centered around the city of Tyv, the tribes that make up Tyver Luz are similar not the same. Linguistically, they are also unique, with their own alphabet, only used rarely and by the upper class for foreign trade and lawmaking.
Accepted Cultures: Culture of the foreign kind is mainly tolerated, though if it comes from too far away (ie. the Far East,) it is estranged and looked upon with wide eyes. The people of Tyver Luz are mainly xenophobic, poor farmers.
Primary Import(s): Fish, iron weapons and tools, occasionally other foodstuffs.
Primary Export(s): Iron, copper ores as well as various types of woodwork, grain
Trade Policy: Trade is not really organized by the state, but the leaders and landowners that run the central confederation are at least involved in trade, if not merchants by birth and inheritance.
Civil Freedoms: Varies from tribe to tribe; most are allowed free range to do as they wish, as long as they maintain loyalty to their villages and tribes.

Brief Description of your nation's History: The Tyver Luz claim ancestry of the northern lands, having migrated to their current fertile soil many generations prior. Minor territory wars were fought between tribes, but after decades of infighting a council of tribal chiefs and lords was declared and housed in Tyv, the cultural capital and home to the powerful Tyveril people. For the past century, a semi-republican state has been held together roughly by a common ethnic bond and a need for protection.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: The populace of Tyver Luz is predominantly rural, producing many heaps of grain for export. Sheppards are less common, and the lack of any nearby ocean has lead to a lack of meat and fish industry. The second most common occupation, miners, keep the ores flowing. These tribesman in turn provide their Dyols with the product, which they export mainly via caravans that run to the west. Money is not exactly scarce; among the lords, that is.
Brief Description of your nation's government: A council is held every month to discuss national affairs, presided over by the lord of Tyv. Loosely bonded by this, very few laws extend among the whole of the country. For the most part, the tribes are independently run.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: Farmers, miners, and woodsmen; the people of Tyver Luz are a hardy kind. They are fiercely loyal to their respectful tribes and their lords, and proud of their heritage as Luzans. Despite this, most of the populace rarely leaves their own village. Those that do are merchants or soldiers, even more indebted to their lords for the privilege of travel. Understandably, the people of Tyver Luz are also xenophobic and like to keep to themselves.

RP Example: Dyol Milo looked upon his fellow Luz; their faces dirty with darkness from the mines. It seemed to seep in through their eyes into their soul, casting a shadow upon their very being. He did not count himself among the optimistic, but he did love his people enough to know this was not the Way of the Luz. Something had to be done, something to drag his people onto their feet, where they may run free, the blood of their enemies on their hands instead of their own. With the blow of a horn, he ended the work day. He could hardly think with the banging of the pickaxes, anyway. Dyo Milo retreated to his longhouse with a grim, but determined look stretched across his long face.

Ireland isn't too big, and considering you already have pretty much half, I'd say two to three of actual fighting, and one more after that about fighting resisting factions within your realm.

Also, when i say Northern Ireland i don't mean the actual North of the Island of Ireland. I mean the country.
