Nation Name: Thargard

Head of State: High Dragonlord Voignar Ildsson
Claimed Territory: Central Europe, dark brown
State/National Religion: Ildism, a monotheistic religion that worships the great dragon god Ild, who is said to be the creator of the essence of life.
Dominant Religion: Ildism
Minority Religion(s): Small polytheistic cults
Population: Uhm... What about 680.000?
Military Organization: The kingdom has a professional army that is well trained and equipped, and, in times of necessity, militia forces can be raised to help defend their homeland.
Military Size: Professional: 4.760. Militia: 8.160.
Fleet Size: Landlocked!
National Flag: Duh
Primary Culture: Upland Thargardian
Accepted Cultures: Alps Thargardian, cultures from surrounding nations
Primary Import(s): Coal, gems, cloth
Primary Export(s): Metals, alcoholic beverages, grains, cattle
Trade Policy: Mercantilism, now changing to free trade
Civil Freedoms: Native men enjoy a lot of civil freedom, free foreigners not so much (though that is starting to change), and slaves... well, they're slaves. Women are respected for taking care of their families and homes while their husbands work or go to war, and thus, enjoy nearly as much freedom as the men. Basic laws: Do not steal, do not kill... except for self-defense or "cleaning one's honour". In those cases, it's widely approved by the community.

Brief description of your nation's history: The history of the Thargardians started in the barren lands of Scandinavia. Tired of fighting against other tribes for too little, they migrated to the south searching for fertile lands. They eventually settled to the south of the Danube river, mingling with the native peoples and spreading their faith among them.
Brief description of your nation's economy: Businesses are usually considered family traditions. A man's firstborn son is always expected to give continuity to his work. Due to this, there usually isn't much change in a business for many generations. The kingdom has a currency, named draag, but barter is still very popular. The kingdom is still a bit "shy" when the matter is commerce with other nations, but recently they have been opening their markets.
Brief description of your nation's government: The High Dragonlord is the biggest authority in the kingdom. He possesses full control over the nation. He is believed to descend from the dragon god Ild. The Dragonlords represent the regional power, and must fully obey to the High Dragonlord's rule.
Brief description of your nation's populace: Most are very religious and patriotic: they conquered their land in the name of Ild, and will not give up on it easily. They firmly believe in the concept of honour, and of one's role within their community.

I'm assuming that all groups being attacked are NPC's, unless they are being played. Sorry, it was just a way of saying I'm invading a non-player nation that I said was beneath me.

Rilitant. It's right below my nation, the one in Egypt, slightly more than half my size. The war with it is my only expansion in 150 years.

@Al, on a probably long forgotten topic, I use OTL as well as IRL. It's hard to know when to switch them up. Usually I use IRL to mean present day, and when I'm referencing something in the past I use OTL. But I always forget so there's that xD.

Wouldn't need boats, my entire nation will pride itself on it's fleet. All I really want is a single island of the Balerics in order to build a trading post.

Same thing, the small islands are to be minor outposts while the main Balaerics is to be my naval fort and trade city. Lets see how things go in the future :)

Had the NPC north of Rabelon invade it and win in a one-sided war. Also, speaking of falling empires, in regards to empires lasting forever, we had a discussion in school today about the progressive vs. reactionary views of politics and how its a cycle and it's never always more progressive and even a long lasting empire goes through tons of political upheaval.

Nation Name: The Kai'ish Empire (also known as Stros M'Kai)
Capital City: Stros M'kai (IRL Washukanni of the Mitani Empire)
Government Type: Autocratic semi-republic empire
Head of State: Lord Consul Washuwakka
Claimed Territory: http://i.imgur.com/rFeEK4l.png
State/National Religion: Kaishekism
Dominant Religion: Kaishekism
Minority Religion(s): pagan religions of various conquered lands (such as the Rabelonian religion, forgot name)
Population: 2.6 million
Military Organization: Professional army with a conscription force
Military Size: Professional - 44,000 | Conscription - 182,000 (these can be trained in six months time) | 30% of population - 780,000 (never gonna use, just for reference)
Fleet Size: TBD but they have military ships that sail up and down the rivers to patrol them. Also has some in the Persian Gulf
National Flag: http://th01.deviantart.net/fs71/200H/f/ ... 5l068p.png
Primary Culture: Kai'ish
Accepted Cultures: Rabelonian, Urish, other city-groups, occupied locals
Primary Import(s): goods from Egypt like papyrus and gold, goods from India
Primary Export(s): TBD
Trade Policy: Free trade, though the government will create state-sponsored trade routes
Civil Freedoms: Limited. Similar to Spartan culture in regards to women and men in war.

Brief Description of your nation's History: Rose out of the ashes in 1226 BCE. Conquered Rabelon in 1202-1199 BCE
Brief Description of your nation's economy: Based off the two rivers. Trades with lots of nations and is a center of that.
Brief Description of your nation's government: A semi-republic in that the greatest warriors/generals form what is known as the "Upper Hemicircle." The city-appointed diplomats form the "Lower Hemicircle." They vote for an emperor from the UH's ranks for life.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: Dominated by the Kai'ish, they are a militaristic culture that has rapidly rose out of the desert. They value the trade and wealth of the cities of Rabelon and allow great deals of autonomy (but with Kai'ish governors and elders to rule them). They are tolerant of the Rabelonians, only because they dominate them and have no outside threat to their security.

RP Example: (Not necessary if you were a part of HoM at its end.)
