Hunger Games: The First Quarter Quell (OOC: semi-closed)

After the Dark Days of Panem in which the districts fought tragically against the Capitol, President Mitchell, whom was forced to nuke District 13, also had another depressing matter on his hands. What shall one do with these rebellious Districts that survived? As he questioned himself about the matter constantly, an adviser finally gave him an idea. The Districts must submit two tributes, one male and one female, beginning at the age of 12 and ending at the age of 18, to join a death battle with only one victor in an arena created solely by the Capitol. Now, it is 25 years after the first Hunger Games. The tributes are chosen by their friends, neighbors, and relatives. That's right, popular vote. This is used to remind the districts of how they turned brother against brother and father against son when they rebelled.
You (if you are a tribute) will start with a post of your reaping. From there, we go in order. Other spots open are sponsors (you can not be a sponsor for your own player), mentors, and Gamemakers.

This meant he spent as much time swimming and talking as he did actually working. Due to this, he was diagnosed with ADHD as he could not focus. Explain why he was picked later.

He could have chosen to lead a secluded life, privileged from hardship, but he voluntarily journeys the expanse of District 2, going into the woods and quarries, onto the mountains and across the lakes, to make himself more knowledgeable. He hopes to become the first professional poet in District 2, and has tried his luck at the press. He has some preliminary success. Ariston is an unlikely candidate for the HG as far as District 2 was concerned, but this year they had a particularly poor showing. As the hopefuls were fighting offstage for the chance to get on, a drunken Ariston simply walks pass them onto the stage.

Fralnick never had dreams of being famous either, he just wanted to be a normal person in District 11. Sometimes that was hard to do, when every year one of your friends are sent to the Capitol to play some brutal bloodsport, never to return to District 11 again. He has always told everyone that if he was to ever be in the Games, he would make the Capitol pay for putting him and his friends before him in them.

Personality: He is quite, independent and withdrawn; in fact he would probably go unnoticed by the district if it weren't for the fact that he was the son of new mayor for twelve. He is however quite perceptive, picking up on things that others miss and quite intelligent. While he is most often quite introverted when you push the right buttons, he can flip quite easily and when he does, you dont want to be anywhere nearby since he will break your nose and then possibly give you a concussion, broken bones and stroke. On the bright side there aren't that many things that will cause him to flip.
Bio: He is the son of Ranjit, born thirteen years after the first hunger games; oh that reminds me this is another thing you will want to avoid talking to him about, he was born in the merchant section of the district when he had fair childhood managing the bakery that he ran when his father went through episodes. However his father did like to escape the forest since apparently it helped him calm down and while he attempted to hide it from Sachindra and his sister Angelina, that was neither successful nor useful as from an young age they followed their father to the forest, following on the same footsteps. That is where he learned to shoot using a makeshift bow and aim using makeshift spears and knifes. Okay the first few attempts weren't exactly bullseye, and first few animals were hit in so many places that they had to be discarded but nevertheless he continued to improve through practice. Their father however eventually started to notice the reduced income and then figured out that he was in fact being followed. When his attempts to restrict them using curfews did not worked, he started to train them instead. Three years ago, when the mayor died due to natural causes, Ranjit was appointed the new mayor by the president. Something that while seemed like good idea at the time, would probably be something that would come back to bite Ranjit during the voting.

Green eyes, but his right eye is smaller than his left. Has scars on his lower back after a growth spurt outgrew his skin. Red birthmark on his neck right below his Adam's apple in the shape of a strawberry. Has very long legs and large feet, size US 15. Well built, but clothes hang off of him because his shoulders are broader than his torso.
Personality: Quiet, but willing to talk to people and can carry a conversation. Was thought to have autism for most of his young years, but is just shy. Loves to read and play soccer. Has three close friends, all of whom love technology. Willing to help people if he can. Too quiet to ever really get too close to girls for a while, but is getting more self-confident. Always at the top of his class in everything. Has a near photographic memory, and can recall maps very easily among other talents. Very mentally strong. Seen as an outcast by many people, but there are a few kids who know that David just likes different things.
