Meh sure.

Ok, I'll roll with that. I'll RP them both for the beginning, but the Greyjoys will soon take power.

Ah I thought you meant destroyed :P

Erm, well the Hoares are using it as their seat, but if they are usurped it will probably be given to a vassal house to promote relations. The Greyjoys prefer their islands. Of course, the Greyjoys can use it as a fortress whenever they wish.

Bad idea. The Tully's don't have the wealth or expertise like idk, lets say a house like the Freys have?

Nation Name: The Kingdom of Isles and Rivers

Image

Banner: Same as the sigil.

Ruler(s): King Harren of House Hoare

Capital: Harrenhal

Dominant Culture: Ironborn

Minor Culture(s): Andals, First Men

State Religion: Drowned God

Military Force: (check the wiki for Westeros)
Iron Islands:
The naval skills of the Ironborn are unparalleled. Bred on a culture of raiding, sailing, and fighting, the Ironborn people reflect their harsh and unforgiving homeland.
Iron Fleet - The elite of the elite of the Iron Navy, the Fleet consists of about 100 warships, each dipping around 100 oars or more. The Flagship is the Iron Victory, a huge 350 oar warship. The Iron Fleet is designed to engage larger naval vessels and pin, destroy, or capture them.

Isle Fleets - The Isle fleets consist of smaller vessels, usually around 20 oars or so. They are designed for raiding and attacking enemy shores rather than open, pitched battle with larger enemy vessels. The Isle Fleets number over 400 ships.

In total, the Iron Navy numbers around 500.

Riverlands:
Around 15,000 soldiers. (This is including vassal houses, so if there are apps for these vassals then this number will change accordingly depending on who is accepted.)

History: Long have the Ironborn followed the 'Old Way', paying the Iron Price. Their traditional naval raiding culture allowed them to build a huge empire in Westeros. Under House Hoare, the people of the Iron Islands controlled a dominion stretching from Bear Island in the North to the Arbor in the Reach. But the Empire found itself too outstretched, and not able to administer a dominion on raiding and naval prowess alone. Eventually, the Kings of House Stark in the North and the Kings of House Gardener in the Reach retook their territories from the Ironborn. Shame was brought to the Iron Islands at the loss of their Empire, and it led to serious reforms in terms of fighting on land as well as at sea.

After many years, House Hoare of the Iron Islands decided that the time was right for a new Kingdom. Conquering the Riverlands in a matter of months, the Ironborn had once again proven their military prowess. Harren the Black, the latest King in the Hoare line, ordered construction of the largest castle in Westeros - Harrenhal. Taking seat in this castle, he left the Greyjoys to hold the Iron Islands. But, under his cruel rule, the vassal houses have grown discontent with him. With the Greyjoys growing in power, the fate of the Kingdom is unknown.

-----

House Name: House Greyjoy

Image

Head of House: Lord Euron of the Iron Islands

House Members: Lord Euron - 49. Stubborn, cunning, authoritative, cares for his family and people. Physically strong and skilled in combat. Values his sons and listens to their advice.
Rook Greyjoy - 20. Takes after his father - Stubborn, cunning, authoritative, caring, and popular amongst the people, however more ambitious than his father.
Quellon Greyjoy - 18. Son of Euron. Very sharp, devious, ambitious, natural tactician, ruthless. Less of a popular figure than his father, seen as a tad shady.
Tya Greyjoy - 17. Kind, loyal, and caring like her older brother and father.
Taron Greyjoy - 45. As younger brother of the Lord, he holds the position of Commander of the Iron Navy, the highest military rank of the Iron Islands. Physically strong, he is an able tactician, but cares little for politics. He has a strong bond with his house, however amongst the people he is seen as keeping himself to himself.

House Seat: Pyke

Houses's Faith: Drowned God

Military Forces: (Again within reason) Stated above, taken from wiki.

Sworn Houses: House Harlaw, Goodbrother, Merlyn, and Sparr.
Sworn to House Hoare.

House Hoare Sworn Houses: Greyjoy, Tully, Mallister, Blackwood, Bracken, Frey.

No no not at all. The House of Greyjoy gifting Harrenhal and all it's lands to Lord Aaron Frey, and maybe making him Lord Paramount of the Riverlands under the Kingdom of the Iron Islands, well maybe a few marriages between our families could cement the Kingdom of the Iron Islands and appeal to the lords of the Riverlands... just a thought.

Hmm... well, that would be good, yes. You could certainly have Lord Paramount of the Riverlands.

The Greyjoys have even bigger plans than House Hoare...

Dem Riverlands looking yummy. After I subjugate Crackclaw Point and add their men to my retinue, you bet I'm coming for you.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.

Should I use the same format for the application as everyone else? My character has yet to travel to Essos to begin his reign of conquering the various cities there so the nation part I can't really fill out yet unless I can go on and add Volantis since I plan on it being my base and want to peacefully gain control maybe have the nobles there offer a crown or something in exchange for leadership and a dragon.

What should I do for my military at the moment? Guessing some troops and ships would go with my from Dragonstone onward to Volantis. The sight of a dragon should get most people to bend the knee and if not they can burn in dragon fire.

I'd give you a host about the same amount as mine, just so you don't only have a dragon.
