I placed France among the former Celtic lands because the majority population is still ethnically Gaulish, but have adopted Frankish culture. Therefor, there is a decreased penalty due to cultural conversions, as compared to absent penalty for Celtic cultures.

Ok but Britain would rather have a breton influence France rather than the current one, so we will support Brittany in any conquest of France. Besides the last time France tried to invade Brittany they fought them off and marched all the way to Paris before accepting peace so they do the capability.

Can I conquer Toulouse?

Why does everyone think we are invading in hour? We said it would take years of slowly grinding France down economically while continuing to build up our strength before we can invade and even then I said it might take two wars as long as we take some land during the first one.

As for Toulouse, we can't stop you invading but won't be happy as Britain's goal for Brittany is to expand to Frances modern day borders, more or less.

Saying that is the equivalent of saying that converting from Orthodox to Catholicism would create more clergy jobs. There wouldn't be. You don't need a large group of druids to hold a ritual, people irl do it with only one or two.

5% is the usual max of Military, 1% is 30,000. Which during the time of change you might want to have atleast 3%, cause seeing your in Europe. Almost everyone is Catholic, try to establish dominance. (Take on someone larger, like H.R.E, Netherlands, or even Norway. Make sure no one wants to mess with you. Sometimes that just makes you a large target. But XD)
