Isabelle, a bit ago. She had a baby, died a year later.

Wouldn't that baby, once grown up, become queen?
Meaning that Joanna is a regent and thus useless politically.

I feel like Japan should eventually lose the "Ikko-Ikki" bonus...probably around the Sengoku era? It would make sense, considering that Nobunaga Oda slaughtered the entire Ikko Ikki sect as a part of his expansion.

Can we have some events, but from the east of Europe like the Golden Horde, Crimea, and Poland? We never see any events about them.

The one to get the Venetians to give back the Greek lands? Innocent tried, failed, and died. This is the College of Cardinals trying to make this purchase.

We need to stop letting these guys get into power, the first vacancy spawned an inquisition and the second might spawn a war.

Exactly, these guys are not loving people. They vote in nice Pope's so that the rest of the world still likes the Church. also, I'm trying to see if I can get Martin Luther to have a Reformation and still be saying, "Yeah, everyone but the Pope is a huge bastard."

Proven by their accepting the Borgia's bribe to become pope when he wasn't even a member of the clergy.

I think one of the funniest parts of Luther's reformation is his treatment of the Jewish people:

"Of course they aren't following Catholicism! It's wrong! So, now that I've made the true Christianity, you'll convert, right?"

"No, we stayed Jewish because we believe in Judaism"

"Okay we've got to kill these guys, they're all sinners and stuff I dunno I just don't like them"

Yupperz, at any rate, the Inquisition will eventually turn on them and, backed by the Pope, bring about internal change.

The Basques are still part of Castile, Aragon, and France. They're not very numerous, perhaps 400,000?

Fun fact: The Basque culture is believed to be the indigenous pre-Roman culture of Spain.

During the early medieval age, a bit after the fall of the Roman empire, they feudalized and converted to Christianity.
