Say everything is yours and become Stalinist.

That sounds easy enough, though the common folk wouldn't like it :P

10,8,4 on Papal Votes, now.

Maharo, was Brittany named Protector of the Faith? No. France was, ergo, if I find a little something extra I'ma share it with the French, rather than the other European powers, who have already proven to be capriscious bastards fully willing to abandon the faith for the slightest of advantages over their neighbors (Excluding, of course, France, Sweden, Myself, Switzerland, Ireland, and other European nations who have held fast in the face of the encroaching Pagan menace).

Did everyone vote? And I thought it was up to Ik to decide what personality the pope had?

Great. And I plan to have Luc become the biggest Briton slave trader which will no doubt help you out even more given that you are the go to country for slaves. In short by helping us set up this trade route, you will greatly benefit from the influx of trade that will be passing by.

Yup, It is up to Ik, actually, just saying the way I've been playing them up to now.

Well than sorry trib but as a member of the Italian federation I am forced to defend the Venetians along with Switzerland the papal states, kingdom of Italy and any allies they call on. Since it will be you invading I will ask France to honor its defensive treaty with me.

Ik said she would decide the NPCs votes. From there he shouldn't be able to decide much more because at that point it will not be his character but Tyranus's.

Do you remember the last pope vote? Or where not even here?

If don't then I'll remind you. Ik decides what personality the pope has, Tyranus then controls the pope in accordance with the personality given.

Tyranus already said what their personality was like when he opened the election. Giovanni was an expansionist extreme catholic. The person that got eight was more accepting, and the one with the least votes was a sheltered pacifist.

What? That was his introduction to the beginning of the voting process. He decided who was out there to be voted, their age, and a rough description of their personality. I've looked it over, Ik never claimed she would change or recreate their personalities, and has no reason to do so.

When the first pope was voted in Tyranus gave Ik the right to do so. And I believe its a good way to avoid power playing. But of course last time the pope was a bishop from a NPC. I'm not sure who owns the area where Giovanni is from.
