Pope's dead.

And Infedelus doesn't do that, they merely investigate threats to Christendom from foreign religions and powers. They act more as diplomats than missionaries.

I'm Roman Catholic, so there's that. If you have any questions about what Roman Catholicism really does, I guess I can help. You should probably go to a priest to ask, but I know some things.

I mean, if you want you can capture them and torture them, but they are just going to say the same thing:
They are scouts and diplomats to the non-Catholic world, seeking to divert threats rather than convert them, that's the missionaries' jobs.

Oh good. I didn't realise tourism was much if a thing in the 1500s.

This might help, but remember to check to roots instead of the English words

Here's a collection of Celtic words

Here's some names, which can also be broken down for independent words

Lastly, the Wiki page offers a few linguistic examples

They don't see Norway as having enough value to fight a war over. They can go elsewhere if they wish for more land, somewhere without a war to capture it, or somewhere with a war to capture it but is more useful.

Which it wasn't due to a lack of advanced and affordable transportation and serfdom laws preventing the middle and lower class from the freedom of movement. Only the rich and royals got to go on tours and sightseeing.

There's this too, though the middle class wasn't bound by serfdom. That was, actually, what made them the middle class.

To give you guys an idea:

Giovanni is another Italian political bastard.

Rodrigo is the epitome of "empty-headed professor". He's smart, but kinda sheltered.

Staufen is just plain tired.

You can expect attempts at expansion from the first guy, attempts at peace from the second guy, and attempts at nothing much from the third guy.

First guy is 54, second is 55, third is 49.

Tourism mostly consists of pilgrims and nobles with too much time on their hands. The Yeoman class (the middle class) was still mostly bound to their lands, kinda like pre-American Civil War Appalachian farmers.

Edit: That is, out of necessity rather than duty.

I mistyped, I meant that the serfs were bound by serfdom laws and the middle class usually was in the shopkeeping business or were merchants and couldn't afford to leave their jobs for a tour of another country.

This too. Like he and I said, most middle class workers were farmers, merchants, or small business owners.

NPC votes:

Bishop Giovanni of Bologna: Italy, Venice, Switzerland, Burgundy, Hesse, Bavaria (6)

Bishop Rodrigo of Zaragoza: Aragon, France, Ireland, Holy Roman Empire, Denmark, Netherlands, Malta (7)

Bishop Staufen of Vienna: Austria, Poland, Teutons, Hungary (4)

It is up to the players to decide the rest

A merchant, as in the type who goes to foreign places to sell goods, is technically paid to be a tourist and sell stuff on the way. In short, tourism at this time is mostly upper class, with a smaller middle class percentage.

Ik, Giovanni would technically get his own vote, as well.
