In medieval times, Lesbianism was not seen in the same light as homosexuality. It was common belief since the ancient times that to have sexual intercourse, a phallus must be involved. This belief carried into medieval times. Since no phallus was present on women, their homosexuality was seen as much, much less of a crime against God, and that was if it was even considered a crime at all. Many governments gave very minor punishments for lesbianism if their government did consider it a crime because, unless an object was used to represent or replace the phallus, the two women literally could not have intercourse with each other. Due to the lack of intercourse, it does not go against the Bible nor God's law.

I know, but it was still taboo for them to legitly marry. That NEVER happened or was even mentioned back then. Sure lesbian sexual acts were ignored, but a union under god where only men and women were meant to be married according to the majority populace. That wouldn't fly.

Shit...Fine! No one gets supported in the Iberian War! I condemn all country's attempts to unify such divergent cultures as heresy! Screw you guys!

I'm a bit late, but don't you need permission to send your holy orders into Christian lands of a branch that doesn't follow your authority?

Ah, whoops, I meant Infedelus, not Haereticus. Those guys are the ones that make sure to check out the Pagans.
