In Money We Trust

Image
"Listen up, this is a robbery, we want to harm nobody, think of your loved ones, dont try and be a hero, shut up and stay down and this will be over in no time."

Setting

Present Day
United States of America
Virginia

Its no lie that we live in a word full of corruption, deceit, crime and poverty. We live in a society where many struggle to get by, whilst the 1% sit and laugh atop their pile of ill gotten gains. Not to say our method of money making is any more legal, but at least we are honest about it. Maybe that makes you feel less guilty about it, im not sure, im not a psychologist. Anyway. You are a criminal, you cannot deny that, your backgrounds, your lives and your motives are your business. In our line of work being a criminal is a requirement, the more skilled and seasoned the better. The crime career is a risky one, but the risk is testament to the reward. Its not going to be smooth saying, you will need skill, teamwork, co-ordination, vigilance, and nerves of god damn titanium to pull of what you are asked to do. I guarantee however, if you are smart and subtle, cover your tracks and you may just be in the clear.

Characters

The Mastermind - Ubaria
Image

The mastermind behind the crew, this is what binds them together and keeps them in the know. The Masterminds job is simple, gather intelligence before heists, draw up plans, study the area and generally brief the crew on the situation they may be going into. During heists the mastermind will update the crew on what is going on, give warnings or indicators on what to expect and co-ordinate escapes. Sometimes he will have to provide hacking skills or perform tasks remotely that the main crew cannot perform themselves. After the heist the mastermind will try to remove traces and evidence of the robbery, wash the money, fence any goods and pay the crew.

Name:Jasper Clarke

Brief History: Born in Greater London, England. He was born into the criminal world. His father being a small time bank crook and stick up artist and his mother which was his accomplice. Though when the prospect of a baby on the horizon the pair settled down and with a substantial amount of cash, retired to the English countryside. He attended a private school all payed for by stolen money, he was always told that his parents won the lottery near to when Jasper was born, though this was obviously a lie to keep Jasper from knowing the truth. This changed when Jasper was 16. His fathers former crewmembers had suspected him of ratting them out to the cops, this bought them to his home in the countryside. Jasper's father was killed and his mother severely beaten to within an inch of her life, on her deathbed she told Jasper the truth, and to seek revenge. Jasper happily obliged. Through former contacts of his parents Jasper managed to gain a foothold in the criminal underworld and became notorious for his planned execution in robberies, sometimes surveying scenes for months before hitting them. He was meticulous in his work, right down to the fine points. One late Saturday night Jasper received a lead on the whereabouts of one of the killers of his parents. Of course this was a trap, he was cornered in a nearby warehouse, managing to kill 2 of the assailants he was then fatally wounded, shot in the spine. This incapacitated him, retiring him from his line of work at the relatively young age of 25. He was apprehended by the police and spent 12 years inside. When he got out he traveled to America to hopefully escape his past, begin a new life. However he could never shake his past, and ended up working as a mission planner for various criminals. None of which made it far. Recently he was contacted by some career criminals wishing to up their game. These however looked different, Jasper could feel it.

The Brains - Open
Different from the mastermind, whilst sitting in a dark room may be alright, the brains can adapt to different situations and think on his feet. As the word Brains suggests, they tend to be smart and logical during the heist, making sure everything is as it should be, keeping tabs on different things and generally co-coordinating everyone. They are also the leader of the crew of sorts, the brains is generally the main decision maker during the heist.

Boasting the heaviest gun and heaviest armor, the enforcer is played when there is no other option than to fight. RP Information
Hopefully by now you get this is a Payday RP. Loosely based around the concepts of the game, although we can go way past the restrictions of the game, such as multiple stage heists, getaways and such. For this i shall take the role of the mastermind, through it i shall dictate the course of events in RP. Kind of like a Game master if you will. I will inform you of each heist, the situation and any events that unfold after this by RPing it.

I can only accept 4 people at this time, due to the restrictions of the crew, although if the demand is high enough, i may think about including extras such as drivers, pilots, inside men and such. Things you must remember are.
  • Whilst this may be based around payday, this isn't going to be as action packed as the game. What i mean by this is you're not going to be slaughtering hundreds of cops in a single heist , we try to keep any casualties to a minimum.
  • Be realistic. You're not going to jump through the roof, blow open the safe and run off into the sunset.
  • Be aware. You are also with teammates, try to stick to your role.
  • 1 Character Minimum. You can also only pick a role that has not been chosen. If yours has been taken, try to adapt.
  • Most of all. Have fun. :p

This is the Character sheet. Applications will be on a first come first serve basis.
