Description
It's 1899 the verge of a new century and the world is coming to the start of a new modern age. Discoveries in the way the world works has just about shut down most religions in Europe and modern weaponry like Gatling and machine guns replace single shots and rifles become more accurate and don't require long periods of time to load. Cannons have been replaced by Artillery and colonial conflict is rising.

The naval powers of France, Great Britain and Germany are all dominating all the last colonies and China is the last valuable peace of land. New powers of the USA and Japan are young but are becoming minor military powers, many colonies are starting to become independent and most powers are losing their grips on the world.

The new world in South America has grown to a growing continent with many previous colonies separating from the Spanish empire. The Austria Hungary empire has troubles with the Serbians with nationalists becoming restless. Russia the mighty dog has awoken and has become once again a powerful nation with its navy pushing the Japanese further south only to be slapped in the face by the under appreciated Japanese.

Several European leaders are quietly enlarging their militarise until most have close to a million strong or more, Great Britain with its almighty navy continues to dominate the worlds seas, but is getting afraid of losing their control with the rising german navy.

Alliances have been created to cover each other's backs and for protection many colonial powers have been abusing their colonies for man power and riches. The industrial revolution could of been the spark for the modern world where factories replaced the farms and population increased greatly through electricity and steam power.

Monarchy's are falling due to imperialism and nationalism views are high, the world is a stick of dynamite waiting for someone to light the fuse, and it would result in something catastrophic.

It is 1899 and some countries are stronger and weaker them others aim of the game is total domination, lose by capital being overtaken.

Description

It is the year 1,800,000 BCE, and a strange new creature is rising to power in Eastern Africa. Descended from a long line of ground-dwelling apes, it is called Homo Erectus. It uses primitive speech to communicate with other members of its species, it hunts and kills other animals using sharp tools and sticks, it is beginning to harness fire and so much more. Its large brain is always thinking of new uses for things and new ways to survive in the dangerous African savannah and without its brain it would be defenceless. With no horns, claws or teeth, only its quick thinking and the tools it can invent keep it alive, and this is driving them to become even more industrious and intelligent. In fact, it is the smartest creature alive.

Or so it thought.

Around the globe other species are evolving that match it in intelligence. Some are also apes, but others are bizarre humanoid forms of the strangest creatures imaginable. They too are fighting in a constant battle for survival, and like the Homo Erectus they need their brains to keep them alive.
Why not create your own sentient being and guide it to either a horrible extinction or complete global domination? It will not be easy, but everybody has a chance to succeed in this cruel, cruel world...

Description
2015 Modern World RP is a RP set in the real world. Players controll a nation or certain group and tries to follow its own intrests. Alliances will be forged and enemies will be fought. The RP is based on realism, so there are a series of rules attached to avoid unrealistic actions. This does not mean that you have to follow your nations actions like in RL precisely, but its only to avoid drastic actions taken without any common sense (example: US invading Canada). Description
It is November of 1917 and the Russian Civil War has just started. Players control a character (a Bolshevik, a White Russian, a foreign volunteer or an emigré/would-be emigré) living through this turbulent era of Russian history. A nation is divided between the supporters of the Czar or Kerensky's Russian Republic and the supporters of the Bolsheviks fed-up with what seems to be an eternity of oppression at the hands of the upper-classes and especially the nobility and aristocracy. Russia's future is to be decided by this war of Russians and for Russians.

Description
In a few words, its about a futuristic high school academy, where the subjects studied are 18th-21st century warfare. Preformance in virtual reality simulations and live-fire combat between you, other students and other schools secure your GPA, and your life.

The story takes place in the tension-ridden, high-pace year of 2044. In the past 3 decades, developments in biotech, virtual reality, artifical intellegence, and geoenginnering have taken the world by storm. Fields once considered fringe science are now fully accepted endevors in the academic community.

However, all is not well in the Land of Oz

Earth has barely survived humanities latest and greatest efforts to blow ourselves up. And it shows. Due to unpopular conflicts across the world, out cries among the citizenry have caused national armies to a adopt a policy of marginalizing their state militaries. As a result, many of their positions and jobs are now outsourced to private secruity firms, who provided countries power in turn for profit. The title"Mercenary" has become the most popular, and most lucrative, job on Earth. Controversy, high-tempers and political mud-slinging abound for supporters and detractors of this system of tit for tat. And in the eye of the storm, stands Eureka.

An artifical island twice the size of Great Britian in the North Atlantic, the privately funded instillation plays host to the most famous, and infamous, education institute in the world. Eureka's Academy of Military Science, Games, and Theory. Commonly refered to as The S.T.A.G Program, it is a private boarding school notorious for its trademark curriculum: Warfare. From live-fire excercises to virtual reality sims', students of different classes, leagues, and other schools lock and load on the daily to secure their lives and GPA.

Description
The World of Adrea
The world of Adrea is one of magic and wonder, but also danger. It is a land as old as time itself. For millenniums the people of this land lived in small scattered villages and tribes. They were often plagued by wild creatures such as giants, trolls and werewolves. Life was hard during these times, and people lived to survive. That was until a thousand years ago when the great hero Berian the Great was born. He was born in a small village of Calix where Berian saw the hardship of his people as he grew up and was determined to change things. He left home at a young age and gathered a group of followers who he promised a united kingdom, and a better future. This group soon grew into an army and they fought for their new kingdom that they call Adrea. After many battles and hardships the kingdom was finally united and Berian had conquered the continent. He was crowned king and created a new age of wonder and prosperity. He drove back the evil creatures in the land and greatly expanded the use of magic to make the world a better place. He built the capital city out of his old village and renamed it Calixria. It became a beautiful and prosperous city and with in it Berian created an academy where mages could train in peace. Like all mortals Berian passed from the world, but he was never forgotten. He became a part of history, and soon a legend, finally he was worshiped as a god. His descendants continued to rule in his name and though there was some difficulty, there most often peace and prosperity.
This was until 15 years ago, when darkness descended upon the land. King Abarac was reigning over an era of peace, that is before he was betrayed. His Arch-mage Garax was an extremely powerful dark mage who sought the king's crown. He gathered a small group of followers and together they brutally murdered the royal family in the dead of the night. They slaughtered the king, his wife, and all of their children, or so they thought. Their youngest child Corbian, was saved by a group of warriors still loyal to the royal family. Garax then asserted himself as king and his reign of terror over Adrea began. He hunted down those loyal to the old king and banned the Church of Berian. There is hope however, a prophecy that could save the world. "An heir will rise to save the world. The five gates they must pass. Through water, fire, earth, air, and darkness, they must pass, to stop the false king of death. Now the fate of the world rests on the secret heir that the world fears is dead, and their four guardians that are yet unknown. Who will save the world?

Description
The change came in 2020. It was meant to make Europe peaceful forever. But would it?
Since the Second World War, Europe had been relatively peaceful. Not many wars took place, and when they did they were usually on quite a small scale, especially in the West of the continent. However, the lessons of the past were slowly forgotten, and by 2014 Europe found itself with growing levels of conflict yet again. Independence movements sprang up, Novorossiya was in a full-blown conflict with Ukraine, and there were plenty of nationalist struggles bubbling under the surface. It was the following year that the great idea of a forever-peaceful Europe really started to take shape.
A group of mostly Socialist politicians realised that rising tensions between states would eventually result in a possibly nuclear war, but almost certainly an armed conflict on a large scale. They realised that they needed a big conference of every single European state, where changes would be made to the map so that the continent could be as peaceful as possible. By 2018, the idea had widespread support, and in 2019, the conference took place, in Schwerin, the geographic centre of the continent as defined by the politicans who organised it. The changes would come into effect on January 1st 2020.
This RP starts on the 1st July 2020, 6 months after the changes first came into effect. Most countries have now reached stability and a certain type of government. So, will your nation be content with what is meant to be the last changes ever to the European continent? Or will you still attempt to expand further territorially? The choice is yours.

It is now 3021 C.E. Hundreds of years ago following the invention of the Alcubierre Drive by Chinese Scientists Humanity spread across the Orion Arm of the Galaxy, for the first time in history the species united under one flag. The Terran Confederacy was extremely vast and free, but maybe it was a little to vast. Differences started to grow between the colonists of the Outer Worlds and the more Earth oriented folk closer to Terra Firma. Finally in 2563 the breaking point was reached and the Confederacy fell into all out war between many different factions. Within a few years it was over and the Confederation was torn apart many worlds were sterilized, including Earth, Human space fell into the Dark Ages. Only a handful of the once plentiful Human worlds survive, all trying to rediscover the lost technologies of the Terran golden age. But other species are arriving in the Orion Cluster too...

Legacy Lost is an RP taking place in a universe created using an amalgamation of my many, many OCs across all the RPs that I have done over time, using them and a little bit of extra stuff to create a relatively expansive universe with several races, each with their own backstory and lore, as well as a few religions and, once the RP gets into the swing of things, planets and systems for the players to re-visit. Description
In the year 1938 E.C., the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance was hit by a swift and decisive civil war, which ended in a coup d'etat that overthrew the monarchy, united the nations into one, and installed a democratic government... for a while. In the spring of 1939, a National Populist movement, spurred on by bitter veterans of the Second Europan War that had ended the previous February and the working-class, swept through the country. They eventually succeeded, and united the Imperial Alliance under the banner of fascism. This was of some concern to the resource-rich Gallia, but not that much. The war was over, and even with the new movement sweeping East Europa, their military was still weakened from the Second Europan War. But by August, East Europa had built up its military to pre-war levels, and by October, they had a stronger military than the Atlantic Federation and Principality of Gallia combined.

They attacked on December 25th, 1939, first against Gallia, then against the Atlantic Federation, and lastly, against the distant, massive nation of Vespera, each attack occurring within hours of each other. This third attack would be renowned by later generations for its foolishness, for three reasons: Firstly, Vespera had almost twice the population of the Imperials, secondly they had an equally advanced military, thirdly they had slightly more ragnite than the entire Europan continent. So when Vespera started attacking Imperial bases in the enormous Procelleran Ocean, it certainly spelled trouble for them.

But that matters little [for now] to Europa, because by February 1940, the old battle lines had been drawn up, and once again, over a third of Gallia is under Imperial control.

You are a member of the 49th Regiment, Squad 196. Fairly low in the pecking order, but hey, it's a living, and you're fighting for Gallia at least. Even if the 49th's command is made up of sadists, supply is shoddy at best, and you often go on the more dangerous missions.

Galium is a world full of mystery and full of magic, before the world went to hell they said it was once full of people and full of races. There are few kingdoms left and the dead lands as they are called are slowly advancing their hold on the world. On the continent of Jovaskar there are four powers, The Iscan Empire, Dulvan Kingdom, Ascan City states and Vakan Empire. The dead lands have a way of turning fallen dead into their minions after death. While the major powers fight over themselves for land, power and money. All over continents have fallen to the dead land and now the last continent must find a way to defeat this or face the same fate as the others that have tried.

In the year 2030, Earth finally reached a new age, one of technology and discovery.

A young boy, named Dallen Thomsen had burst onto the scene of the world. Dallen had single-handily advanced the world, inventing holograms, hoverboards, flying cars with no fuel emission, along with several popular video games and a new smartphone, better than all the rest, featuring an AI, connection to video game systems and could do basically anything that one wanted. The brand, was simply known as Tom. Dallen also facilitated the reemergence of renewable energy systems, making wind turbines noiseless, popularizing hybrid cars with the Thomsen car, powered by water alone. He made solar panels more effective, and procured a way to retrieve energy from the tides cheaply and inexpensively. He was arguably one of the greatest mind the world had ever seen. Gas and oil were nonexistent, Africa was self-dependent and there were no "third-world countries." Everyone had enough to eat, and a place to eat. Child prostitution was gone, epidemics and diseases were stomped out with very little loss of life.The threat of nuclear war became apparent as tensions became hot between the West and Russia, but Dallen ended that, creating a shield that could shield entire cities, powered by a high tech shield generator. He then secretly traveled all over the world, occurred anymore.

The world was at peace, all thanks to this young man, who quickly became the richest in the world, thanks to his ingenuity and apparent charisma. He had created a company, Thomsen Tech, and the slogan was simply "For the future." He was the epitome of the Renaissance man. He was a master cellist, fencer, played soccer, and was at the top of his classes, far beyond his classmates. He managed to invent the first sonic screwdriver, being a immense fan of Doctor Who, though Thomsen Tech didn't release it for sale. That prompted BBC to hire Dallen as the 15th Doctor, who he would act as after the 14th Doctor's time was up.

One day, Thomsen Tech made an announcement. Their theme song, To Glory by Two Steps from Hell played out before Dallen appeared on the screen, sitting behind his desk. " Greetings. As you know, I am Dallen Thomsen, and I have some very exciting news for you today. I and my small team have created something brilliant, something that will blow your minds. We have created virtual reality. You can buy it today, for $20, at our stores anywhere in the world. However, there are limited copies, but a few lucky random people will find a card in the box which simply reads: "Congratulations, you have been chosen." They will have the chance to, and go into multiple multiverses. Have you ever wanted to travel to Middle-Earth, Narnia, Alagaesia, or the world of Percy Jackson? How about Marvel, or DC, or both of them combined, or Star Wars, or how about Redwall? Doctor Who perhaps? Perhaps you want to go to the world of Ranger's Apprentice, Tron or the world of books like Steelheart. The choice is yours. Dive into your favorite books and movies today. Even if you are not chosen, you still have the chance to go into all of your favorite fictional worlds. You can become your favorite characters, or you can invent an entirely new character and impact events. Became an Adventurer, a swashbuckler, a hero, a tank, a hunter, a thief, a warrior, a mage, a healer and more. This is where you come in. You, after filling out your application on your Tom laptop, were launched into Virtual Reality Online. But there was a problem. Unknown to you, and Dallen at the time, Evan had somehow managed to get into the servers of VRO and had put Dallen and his robots under siege. Wherever Dallen went, Evan went, making alliances with anyone and everything, and attacking Dallen and his small forces. Using the VRO version of our world, Evan was able to procure his weapons. Evan is now assembling an army, bred for a single purpose. To save our world from Dallen and put forth a new world order, with him in charge, the only person capable to stop Dallen, in his beliefs. Somehow, he has managed to find a way to bring virtual characters from VRO into our world. Dallen believes that Evan will destroy the world by bringing virtual characters into our world which he can't control. You must stop Dallen or Evan, or our world is doomed, depending on your point of view.You will do this by traveling with Dallen/Evan, making alliances of our own with the good factions of the Multiverse, but first, you must get to Dallen, who is currently under heavy siege by Evan's forces in an unknown world. Dallen is trapped but fortified in a mountain. You must break the siege and relieve Dallen's forces, or help Evan defeat Dallen. Good luck, the fate of the Multiverse and our world is in your hands. The choice is in your hands, who will you support? Who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy? The lines between the two sides appears blurred but you must decide, and the Multiverse will never be the same.

Description

You are a soul wrongly killed alongside millions because of the chaos unleashed from "Great Reaping of souls" by Heaven to safeguard them from the coming apocalypse. As a virulent infection begins to spread throughout the United Kingdom turning many of the infected into savages, and threatening to cause chaos in the rest of the world. You are trapped in the Abode of the Dead (Sheol), a realm run by Death, and his lords. Escorted there by the Reapers you are left to your own devices stranded in a seemingly endless forest shrouded in mist, and darkness. You try to make your way to more civilized areas along the way encountering villages of Souls who have come here long before you. Night is a dangerous time in Sheol, as humans aren't the only beings here. Around every corner lies monsters from every stretch of mythology who are more than willing to hunt you down, make sport of you, eat you, or worse use you as cattle for the long term. Beware not all in the realm is as it seems for there lurks agents of Tartarus seeking to find members for their ever expansive cult which worships "The Marked One" formerly known as Lucifer. Once one of the most beautiful beings in the universe his arrogance led to a protracted war between much of Creation.

As a result his soul was marked, and sent to live as a mortal yet the forces of Tartarus are on the trail to locate the pieces necessary to reawaken their master, and trigger the true beginning of the Apocalypse. Earth is not the only world at stake, but every world population by sapient species is under the threat of cosmic genocide between the warring factions of Heaven, and Tartarus who for a time had made peace. There are others who seek to take over Sheol, and use it to funnel endless recruits into the Legion of Corrupted which serve Tartarus, but Death the master of the realm is nowhere to be seen leaving his servants in a panic. It appears the Mother of all monsters has begun to organize her children as well preparing for war. In these coming days nothing is sacred, and all shall burn what matters is if you can survive it, and possibly you could help put an end to the madness of it all?

Hello, I am Kratu and this will be a nation based RP following the invasion of Earth (Tosev 3 to the Race) by the Race during what was the Second World War. Description
Here they are, the Canary Islands. A diverse archipelago and an autonomous community of Spain, it is headed jointly by the cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas, both of which have a variety of eye-catching landmarks. It also offers mesmerizing beaches, wildlife, and a relaxing place to resort to for people of all walks of life. The twelve islands always have unique attractions to offer, it seems. Not one of them is a cataclysm for the world, right? Right?

Cumbre Vieja is a volcano situated on the island of La Palma, and is part of the Canary Islands. During a possible eruption, a western flank collapse may lead to a megatsunami that will hit the Americas, Western Europe, and West Africa. Even though it will only be the West that will be directly impacted, it is without a doubt that the rest of the world will be impacted as a whole. People of various countries would respond to the events before, during, and after the fateful megatsunami, and will unravel how it will forever change humanity as we know it.

The RP you've been waiting for(hopefully!)
Welcome to Middle-Earth, but it may be a bit different than you remembered. Actually, probably very different. This RP will take place several years after the Ring would have been destroyed, so the date will be at around TA 3025, or something like that. But let's begin. In the original story, the Council of Elrond considers sending the One Ring across the sea to Valinor, to keep it out of Sauron's reach forever. Gandalf opposed this, and eventually swayed the opinion of Elrond and the rest of the council that the destruction of the Ring was the only real option. But, what if Gandalf failed at reaching Rivendell in time? What if he was kept on the Orthanc for just a few more days? What if Frodo chose, as Ring-bearer, to send the ring across the sea to Valinor? This RP is the answer to all of those questions.

On July 10, TA 3018, Gandalf the Grey is imprisioned in Orthanc by Saruman. Saruman takes him to the dungeons and throws Gandalf in there for seven days, before Saruman decides to expose the wounds of his former friend to the elements. Gandalf is taken to the top of Orthanc, from which Gandalf escapes on September 25. Because of this delay, Gandalf misses the Council of Elrond, as the elven loremaster decides that they can wait no longer. There, in the Council of Elrond, Frodo decides as the Ringbearer to send the Ring to Valinor. With a large entourage and guard, Frodo and his company rush for the Grey Havens. They successfully deliver the RIng to the Grey Havens, where a few elves take it to Valinor, having grown weary of Middle-Earth. The Valar decide to heed the wish and keep the Ring safe in an unknown location, though it is suspected to be in the Halls of Mandos. When the spies of Sauron hear the news, the wrath of Mordor is unleashed. All nine of the Nazgul fly on their fell beasts, crossing the Great River and commanding Saruman to attack Rohan with all speed, along with Rohan. Without warning, 10,000 orcs march across the plains of Rohan, burning and pillaging as they go. The outlying cities are the first to fall. Saruman performs a greater spell upon Theoden, allowing him to control what the king everything the king says. Desperate, Eomer, Eowyn and Theodred take all the Rohirrim still loyal and flee to Helm's Deep with 4,000 Rohirrim. It is soon under siege, and everyday the Horn of Helm Hammerhand blows, the Rohirrim not knowing if that day would be their end. No help comes from Gondor, as Osigiliath has fallen, along with Ithilien. Gondor is driven back, Minas Tirith burns with the fires of Warwarg and Grond. The Gondorians fight stubbornly and valiantly, but are driven back to Dol Amroth, where the last remnant remains. But there too, they are scattered, and only bands of the once proud but still defiant Gondor remains. Helm's Deep finally falls, The Rohirrim are also scattered. Lorien still stands, the power of the Lady Galadriel being too strong for the forces of Mordor. Fangorn burns, both the Ents now live in and defend the realm of the Galadhrim. Thranduil banded together with the Dwarves and Dale for one final battle, but the hordes of Rhun proved to be too much for the triple alliance, and Erebor too fell. The Dwarves of Erebor, robbed of their homeland once again, flee to the Northern Misty Mountains. Thranduil abandons Mirkwood and takes what is rest of the Silvan Elves to Lothlorien. Lorien, the Golden Wood. It remains the last stronghold of the Free Peoples east of the Misty Mountains, and the Lady of Lorien, once thought to be an evil enchantress, now is a refuge for all of the remnants of free peoples.The trees still stand, and the power of Nenya is even more powerful, allowing Galadriel to defeat the hordes of evil over and over again. West of the Misty Mountains, Moria was safe, guarded by the Galadhrim, though untouched by them as well. Lord Elrond, having taken leadership over all the Noldor save Lady Galadriel has reclaimed Ost-in-Edhil and gathers all of the Free Peoples in the West to his banner. The Dunedain now fight under the elven-lord, including Aragorn. But The Realm of Imladris still hold most of the West, the High Pass is overrun however, and everyday more hordes come for the brave elves. It seems that in Middle-Earth, there is naught but ashes. In desperation, the Free Peoples have reclaimed the One Ring from Valinor. Their only hope is to cast it into the fires of Mount Doom, for eventually, all of them shall fall. But the road will be difficult and their enemies are stronger than they, but some still possess the power and valor of olde.

If you've read that and are still confused, I'll try and summarize it:
Basically, the One Ring was sent away, and without its destruction, the Free Peoples got absolutely stomped. Now, they get the One Ring back and the Fellowship's quest will actually begin, albeit with a few different members. Destroying the One Ring is their only hope.
