Description
Welcome to the city of Wilmington, North Carolina. As one of the only coastal ports in North Carolina, Wilmington brings in a large amount of revenue from the shipping industry, as well as from tourism. With at least 3 beaches just across the bridge from Wilmington and a rich history, it is a major destination for tourists and historians, whether they come to relax on the warm sands of Wrightsville Beach or marvel at the old remains of Fort Fisher. Well, in this RP, we won't be focusing much on the city of Wilmington, as much as on the comical adventure that is about to take place.

You are a resident of Wilmington, but you are also a slacker. While you may or may not have a job, you spend most of your time either sleeping, partying, working, smoking, or hanging out with your Masters-level swimming club that always seems to lose every meet to bigger, more effective club teams. In many ways, you can relate to the Dude, the iconic character from "The Big Lebowski", but what comes next will cause your whole world to be flipped upside down.

It is the start of yet another losing season for the Blockade Runners, which is your team. Whether it's a team-wide hangover, people not showing up to meets, team politics, or people getting kidnapped, the Blockade Runners can never seem to win a single meet. Does this bother you and your team mates?

Description

This RP is based off of the idea, that in the time that Spanish explorers entered Mexico, and that English settlers came to East Virginia, they were beaten off. More so for the English than the Spanish, who were only held off from getting into Central and Northern Mexico, than the English, who were pushed off the continent, therefore denying European colonization of most of North America. You play as a Native American nation, or a European nation (Though Native American nations are encouraged more) or a character in the world. (That means your character can be anywhere) The Natives have to try and expand, be prosperous, and try and push back the inevitable European onslaught trying to colonize the Americas. (Again)

Description
Behold the world of Gaiaca, resplendent in its three mighty continents and mass of islands, political tensions, brewing technological revolutions, complex number of swear words, and magic. In the depths of oldest antiquity the God of Darkness, Tenaembra, sought to wipe man from the world as vengeance for being cast from Heaven following his betrayal of the Father of the Gods, Jaehlhadon, in an attempt to make himself the greatest god. His armies of Demons and Daemonnes poured into Gaiaca, using the powers of Dark magic to wreak havoc upon the world. The angelic hosts of the God of Light, Caelstion, fought valiantly against their counterparts, but more was needed to keep the race of men from being extinguished. The other 8 children of Jaehlhadon, often referred to in Gaiacan scripture as The Loyal Host, created a new breed of man; a far stronger breed. The imperfections the gods had imbued men with to see how they would overcome them were cast aside like a snake sheds its' skin when it becomes too small, and more importantly, the new race was granted the direct power of the gods themselves. The holy spirits of war veiled in flesh pushed the armies of Tenaembra back and allowed man to grow and prosper, with the Elementals becoming rulers of Gaiaca. Warfare between demonkind and Elementals raged for millennia, coming to a cataclysmic end with the slaying of the Daemonic Behemoth by the mighty Elemental Olbruni Villdera the Great and his army. The strength of the Elementals had been greatly sapped by the wars, so they faded into the background of Gaiaca, eventually finding themselves facing persecution at times for causing woe to the humans as part of some vast, hidden conspiracy perpetuated by stone-workers and bankers. 15 years ago a great army of demons came into Gaiaca for the first time in a millennium, leaving a trail of devastation upon the Galllian continent and ending the war between the states that occupied the former land of the empire that ended the Final Demon War. Now, new trouble brews in Galllia, as the United Galllian Federation finds itself unable to control rising tensions between the north and south, and a dangerous cult is gaining strength, calling for a violent revolution to exterminate all Elementals and form a new world order.

The year is 2000, and it has been 8 years since the end of the Huzuni-Zimbabwe Bush War, also known as the H-Z War. With the successful implementation of a peace agreement by UNAMH, Zimbabwe and Huzuni have officially ceased hostilities and returned to their pre-war borders. Many notable Zimbabwean and Huzuni commanders have been tried for war crimes, while others have narrowly escaped the reach of the Hague. The interim government of General Wilson Kabia was voluntarily ended by the General following the end to hostilities, heralding in the new Liberal government of Huzuni, led by President Kurt Coetzee along with Vice President Joshua Malawi and Prime Minister Kent Jalawi. With the end of hostilities with Zimbabwe and Mugabe's promise to root out the HNPF inside of their borders, the new government has taken to rooting out the remaining HNPF strongholds in the nation. Also, the government has green-lit a multi-national military base near Ruhengeri, with American, British, and French units staffing the base and assisting Huzuni forces in their COIN operations against the HNPF, providing logistical support and intelligence for their operations. South African Recce troops have also been permitted to aid Huzuni forces in rooting out HNPF forces, who continue to wage an insurgency against the government.

One of the major issues facing Huzuni in its campaign against the HNPF is the mining of diamonds by the HNPF and exporting these conflict diamonds to fund their insurgency. This is an extremely profitable operation, as the Ellers are rich in diamond deposits. As a result, the UN, AU, and INTERPOL have decided to launch an operation in Huzuni in order to curb the mining of conflict diamonds and to investigate reports of government corruption, with some reports suggesting that a number of influential politicians are actually profiting from the excavation and export of conflict diamonds. You, my friend, are a member of this team. With some of the world's foremost experts on the subject of conflict diamonds - from journalists and intelligence officers, to scholars and war crimes investigators - you are an expert in your field. However, the HNPF and the more shady elements of government cannot abide by your presence, so can you survive to uncover the dark, shady world of conflict diamonds, or will you end up in a shallow mountain grave?

Description
They say that the human mind is one of the most powerful things on this planet. Stories kept in secret by governments around the world. That was until one day on a warm, summer afternoon when a mysterious event made 10% of Earths population disappear into thin air with the epicenter of the event being in a small town in Wales to the home of a 28 year old Welshman, Garry Stevens. It turned out that every person who had disappeared had been teleported to another Universe in a sandbox type environment. The Universe appeared to have been generated by Garry's psychic powers which will now be further explained on how we got to this situation.

Two years ago, the British Government did a check up on medical records of certain groups of people in the UK to find a suitable subject for their psychic research to commence on. It turned out that Garry was a perfect candidate for what they were doing and sooner or later was captured and experimented on for over a month. After the injections and brain operations didn't seem to do anything, they wiped his memory and took him back home. It turned out they were wrong about them failing as we have come to this situation here when Garry's psychic abilities manifested and sucked 10% of Earths human population into a portal to another Universe. His Universe. That he'd created from his own mind.

In this Universe, Garry was the king and possessed god like powers. Garry created minions who not only served him but also protected the Universe. These minions were called Guardians. Some described them as being like angels but they were far from right. Guardians' true forms were hideous monsters but usually took the form of humans. They were brutal, merciless and highly efficient killers. They are usually the ones who bring about the down fall of the great. People there on the other hand were also given powers ranging from manipulating objects to spawning materials in to learning magic. Obviously this led to abuse of these powers by some but others used it to rebuild their civilizations. The few months from when this happened in our Universe had turned out to have been a few years in this Universe.

This is where we come in. We were taken by this event too. It's been 5 years since it happened and some of us still haven't adapted to the changes. Though we all took advantage of these strange new powers and this strange new world that we could explore. For once we all really did start out as equals. Mostly unorganized and panicked as well as threatened by the strange and horrible wild life here as well as gangs of raiders but equal non the less. Some of us went out on our own. Some settled in small towns and such. But now, something dark has arisen which has forced us all together again whether or not we like it.

Basically, you can do nearly anything your imagination can limit you to.

Description
Players take on the role of average people trying to survive 200 years after the collapse of the US governmental, particularly within one fortified community in Central Missouri, Fort Karl. Rather than the typical nuclear arms exchange which most post-apoc declare to be the reason for societal collapse, All That Remains focuses instead on a landslide of tragic events stemming from an increase in "Drone" warfare. Not only will players have to handle life without modern luxuries (Internet, modern medicine, easy access to foods and commodities), but they'll also have to deal with bandits, guns for hire and ever-present threat of open war between the numerous self-proclaimed nations that have risen from America's ashes among other, more subtle hazards.

The apocalypse, called 'The Collapse' destroys most of humanity, with only remnants left. It has been 2,000 years since then, and many mutated humans (some drastically changed, some only slightly) have risen once again from the ashes. All of the old cities have disappeared, leaving a few land marks left behind (i.e. Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Statue of Liberty), and the remnants have been blasted back to the Iron Age.

Description
Munus is a gladiatorial event televised secretly to those influential enough and wealthy enough to seek it out. Taking place on a large uncharted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, battles between the toughest and meanest violent humans on the planet are carried out here, with the contestants fighting for fame, glory, and other things. With only a few restrictions, few things are barred in this competition, giving way for the contestants to let loose their deepest, dark savagery in the name of entertainment and personal gratification. Any weapon short of a WMD is allowed, and any action is condoned, from cannibalizing your opponent to raping your opponent.

This is a national alternate history RP starting in the year 2014, with the primary divergence point being the American Civil War , but there is no single point as long as you have a good backstory. In order to encourage more changes, the period between the American Civil War and the present can be changed significantly (obviously) to create a reasonably different, but not totally unrecognizable world. Description
Greetings, ladies and gents. Welcome to the United States Space Prison, aka the "USSP" or "Max-Security". You are a prisoner who has committed a crime against The United States Imperium, or USI, which has conquered the world. The USI conquered the world for two reasons; One. They were tired of paying everyone else as they fell into deeper and deeper debt. Two. They could end all wars and finally fix their big arse debt. Of course, this worked in the short-run. But in the long-run, it didn't. Crime ran rampant and the USI was on the verge of losing it's hold; and so they made the USSP/Max-Security. This station holds all of the people who question the USI's rule, and the Grand President of the World's decisions. It's also for mass-murderers, serial killers, among other various criminals. In short, the USSP tosses all of the unwanted filth that is crime into space.
And in space, no one can hear you scream. The Prison's Warden is a tyrant. He's cruel in every way imaginable. His crew is worse; abusing the men and women of the USSP that aren't Prison Guards, in physical and mental ways.

One hundred years after the defeat of Darth Krayt, the galaxy is once again at war. The Fel Empire is split between two Emperors, and both are at war with the Galactic Alliance. Meanwhile, the exiled Sith are warring with each other in the Outer Rim, though some believe they have infiltrated the governments of the galaxy...

Hello and welcome to the Multiverse Arena! The only arena that pairs two RP's up to battle it out in one arena! Here is where teams of 6 or less characters from different RP's, video games, books, movies or TV shows, come together and fight teams from other RP's on specialty designed battlefields and modes of play. Here nobody truly dies, however, the championship has begun and its time for someone to take the place of Champions from the three year running champions' the Source Team. Though of course they most certainly won't give up the crown too easily. Is your team tough enough to survive the Multiverse Arena?

Here you can play any character from any RP, Game, Movie or even characters you have made up for this RP. You can even play as characters from your nation. It really doesn't matter. This also won't be always about fighting either. After every match you will be sent back to the lobby and you can wander the city and do anything you please up until your next match. You also won't be paired up fighting eachother all the time there will be NPC teams to fight. You may have practice matches in which you can select what map you want and what rules you want on the match.
