Description
You’re tomb-robbers faced with the score of a lifetime: a vast, interstellar space-station. A derelict, essentially. Graveyard for all thought lost on it, conspiracy-foci for half a dozen different dark theories – pre and post-Collapse – and a treasure trove to be plundered. How exactly did you come to be here? Are you corporate scavengers, funded by some tattered Old Earth elites? Are you vacuum-sealed lapdogs of one of the Martian tyrants? Or out-and-out crazies from somewhere out in the Kuiper Belt? It hardly matters. Icarus Station is here – a dark, dead god whose corpse has drifted through the aether for more than a decade. And you’re there to hack at its secrets. There was a war, once. Fact of the matter is, that war is still probably going on somewhere. But that’s hardly important now. What is important is Icarus Station, and the treasures it contains. When the greatest Interstellar Empire the galaxy has ever known collapsed into anarchy, Icarus – a dark jewel of the now irradiated core systems – was lost along with the rest of it. But what is Icarus, anyway? And why the high heck should you care?

To some, Icarus was a scientific and technological Mecca. An archival storehouse of cutting-edge technology, and host for almost half a dozen corporate biolabs. Exactly what these labs were developing when Icarus was lost is anyone’s guess – but the value of its ancient datavaults are beyond question.

To others, Icarus was a pleasure-isle in the vast, black sea of space. Arguably the station’s grandest dome contained gambling houses, an actual racing arena, half a mile of simulated beach-front, and more besides. As the Empire collapsed, this was where the glitterati of her pict-screens and VR-servers came to party and feed any number of dark hungers. Their luggage, and remains, must surely be worth robbing.

To yet others, Icarus is – or at least was – an isle of safety. And now, presumably, a tomb. In the Empire’s waning years, corporate and private largesse had long been a way for the moneyed classes to show off. Some even did so by leasing out large parts of Icarus as ‘Refugee Resettlement Zones’. Zones rife with resentment, extremism and insidious mysticism – as well as hopes and dreams. Which, of course, only added to the tragedy when Icarus disappeared.

Radiation and laser fire cindered those dreams, those hopes, those treasures. Yet now – almost a decade later, the vast station has suddenly, inexplicably rippled back into reality! Intact! Nearly whole. And still closed, by and by, to the vacuum of space. News feeds from the Trueman Line to the Martian Principalities and even the cannibal stations out in the Kuiper Belt have been buzzing with news and rumors of it. Icarus! Rumor-haunted, myth-shrouded Icarus! – is back.

Now - who can get to it first?

Additional Info In this RP, you – the players – each take command of your own band of scavengers recently landed somewhere on Icarus Station. You've checked and double-checked your vacuum seals, your equipment and your air-filters.You're ready to go. Now, your goals are to explore your derelict surroundings, plunder its wealth, and hopefully – possibly! – get back out alive. For the sake of ease, order and sanity, I’m going to roll the action forwards on a turn-by-turn basis. Create your squad, choose skills and equipment, issue orders – and we’ll see how things shake out.

Our not-so-friendly aliens will be less a stereotypical FT empire and more a War of the Worlds-style alien to keep things relatively balanced between the two sides. Speaking of which, you will have the choice to pick from any of the IRL nations in the world including the so-called neutrals. Yes, that includes Switzerland. To keep things simple, the role of the invaders will be filled by myself.More on the invaders: Most likely the same tech level and power as the Martians in H.G. Welcome to FLAMES OF LIBERTY, a 1960s American Political and Character RP where players can explore the ins and outs of government, from the Dixiecrats desperately trying to fight back against the march of progress to progressives fighting for equal rights, social justice, and peace, to conservatives touting an agenda of restoring law and order to a bitterly divided nation. The 1960s were one of the most tumultuous and divisive decades in world history, marked by the civil rights movement, antiwar protests, political assassinations, and the emerging "generation gap".

There is a twist though. This is not an America engaged in a Cold War with the Soviet Union, but with a triumphant Nazi Germany. In this alternative timeline, Adolph Hitler succeeded in crushing the forces of "Judeo-Bolshevism" and imposed complete dominance over the European continent. America managed to defeat the Japanese Empire in the Pacific War and now is locked into a conflict for world domination with a Nazi-led Europe. America has formed the Alliance of Free Nations and American troops are fighting in Africa to support the crumbling Free French regime.

The question of the day is: Will National Socialism or Liberal Democracy stand triumphant in the Cold War for the fate of the Globe?

What is your place in this alt-history America? Are you a war hawk who promises to finally defeat African guerilla groups and stop Free France from collapsing? An antiwar activist who opposes a bloody war to maintain European colonialism? A Dixiecrat who wants to reverse emerging racial integration? Or a civil rights leader who marches for a just and equal society?

Description

Inspired by GTA Serie, Narcos and Mafia, the players will impersonate either a criminal faction or a police unit, the goal for the Criminal factions is to become the biggest criminal organization in the region, taking out the rivals in all of the county cities. While the police goal is to stop the wave of violence, Each player can make its own goal for his faction, but remember the principal goals. The players can interact between each others and a vast group of NPCs in a dynamic world, with different landscapes and people to encounter.

Description
After two years of searching space for a new home after leaving an Earth ruined by an advanced and genocide race known to humanity as the Exterminators. The crew of the Ark, a massive ship created using human and Exterminator technology, housing 50,000 of humanity's survivors. After the Ark left Earth, it lost the Exterminator Fleet that was sent after it after some close calls. Humanity has found a new home in the earth-like moon of Haven and after settling down and founding Ark City. The citizens of Ark City see a promising future for themselves and humanity, but it is unknown to them. Haven has a dark dark and secret which after an exploration team discovers a weak signal in the jungle. A team is sent to investigate and start a series of events that will decide humanity's future on the moon.

It has been six months since Europe has fallen to the alien invaders. While the aliens have pushed further into Africa, the Middle East, and Russia. Humanity under the Earth Defense Initiative has managed to hold the line so far but, for how much longer is unknown. While unable at the moment to launch a counterattack, and needing every advantage in this war if the EDI will be able to defeat the aliens. A new group was formed called the Spectres, whose mission is to infiltrate the aliens' lines and disrupt the aliens in any way they can. Sabotage, assassination, theft, and more. Now, whether this new group can help turn the tide of the war, but whatever they do. They just have to do it for humanity. They will have little support when they go behind enemy lines, and it will be solely up to them whether they succeed or not.

Description
The year is 2030.
Following the major success of NASA's Artemis program in getting American astronauts on the moon once again, beating the Chinese by just four months and the ESA by a year, the world has set its sights on Mars as the next destination for human exploration. However, as the major space agencies rush to get to the red planet, private companies from around the world focus on space in Earth's orbit, the moon, and a few ambitious ones even on near-earth objects (NEOs). Despite international attempts to limit the powers of these corporations, clever loopholes are found, allowing the reaping of other heavenly bodies for economic benefit.
A new space race has begun. Not just between nations, but between businesses founded for the very purpose of the exploitation of space. As they hurry to develop new technologies needed for these expeditions, it is uncertain what the future will look like. Tensions on Earth rise between the various superpowers, and nuclear war seems likely in the near future.

One thing is for certain, however. The space age has truly begun.

As a nation, your goals are to maintain peace on Earth whilst establishing a presence in space and become among the few with access to the wider cosmos. Or don't, and be a warmonger. Your choice.
As a company, you must fight to maintain control over your assets and industries and become a successful, planet-spanning super-corporation with control over much of the solar system.
Other organizations may have mixed goals, but have one thing in common: stay alive.
And over all, accelerate human progress and reach out toward the stars, advancing humanity to a new stellar age and putting your name in the history books.

Welcome to Da Vinci's Legacy, a steampunk and fantasy alternative-history roleplay set in 1648. This is Earth - but not our world, instead, a world which mankind has shared since times immemorial with the art of magic and with other races. Through wars and much bloodshed, humans had already taken control of much of the Old World, but in the 15th century, the rediscovery of ancient knowledge which had almost been lost brought with it the Renaissance, a great age of progress for all human realms. The rediscovery of the aeolipile led to the invention of the steam engine and to an explosion of technology which allowed great minds like Leonardo da Vinci to put their dreams into practice. With new ships, vehicles and great new devices of flight, alongside the power of their mages, humans expanded once again in an Age of Discovery and Conquest. The year is 1648, and a precarious balance between magic and steampunk technology exists in most of the developed nations. Europe, the main center of this new age, has been weakened by religious wars and tensions between mages and scientists, while rumors of ancient monsters hidden in the shadows bring fear into the hearts of men, fear that is often directed against the remains of the other races. Description

Despite the less than comforting news from the rest of the world, about war, destruction and suffering, you thought that everything would be fine, that you would stay and work in your city or village, start a family and live peacefully until you were 70. Unfortunately for you, you were wrong:


The Nazis, after invading Poland and conquering the whole of Europe, betrayed the pact stipulated in 39 and invaded the USSR on June 22, due to the gravity of the situation, the national conscription throughout the union, from Kiev to Vladivostok, thousands of young people are flocking to the recruiting offices and sent to the front.

you are one of them, you are waiting for the train at Vyazma station, there are hundreds of boys like you from all parts of the union, some with melancholy expressions, others with a smile on their faces, there is a crowd that greets you and the others before leaving, children who cheer you as heroes, girls who they send you kisses and wish you good luck, someone distributes cigarettes to the conscripts, friends and relatives exchange their last goodbyes, while the endless line of conscripts heads towards the station office to board the train, yours has finally arrived turn, and a fairly tall man appears in front of you, with short black hair, dark circles under his eyes and a pair of round glasses, you immediately understand that you have to give him your conscription notice.

I would like to run this RP till 1945 and the end of the war, and don't worry, even if your character dies, you can make another. Obviously, Realism constitutes a big part in this RP, since it would be kinda of unhistorical to have a platoon of conscripts in 1941 carrying 1945 soviet equipments, so if you have questions about equipment, tactics and strategies of the Soviet Army in 1941, just ask in the OOC, me and the other players will try to help you.
