Description
At the end of the 24th century, the social issues of the previous decades exploded into global conflicts in which every part and member of society was involved. Civilization was destroyed in the sweep of these Social Wars as the lasers, bio-genetic agents, and nuclear warheads took their toll. Those who survived soon found them selves witnessing a bio-genetic revolution as animals like none other soon repopulated the Earth. 150 years after the wars, lizards with telepathy and unnatural savage creatures became common sight. The age of Anarchy passed, civilization was reborn.

It is a well known fact that during the Social Wars many high ranking officials took shelter as the land was decimated by domestic, and foreign assault alike. As was planned they, and others followed government procedures meant to insure survival, and a chance to rebuild. These shelters where only meant to be inhabited for ten months, unlike CEEPs which were privately funded, and made use of stasis chamber technology. After ten months these individuals emerged to find the world strange, and harsh. They began rebuilding, connecting with other survivors, only to be pushed back by things so horrid the presence was unbearable. Many abandoned the pursuit, instead setting out to forge their own path, and a new world. The headstrong citizens, and officials, however remained true to their aims, and through contact with other groups established over the years a network to not only promote the rebirth of the nations of the Earth, but the emergence of peace between all nations. Agreeing that the world can not be revived if the people are still at war.

It's now the year 3001, great progress has been made in restoring the nations of old. You are part of that restoration, an example of how far it's come- a citizen of the Restored United States of America you have rose to a position in the nation's congress as the challenge persists. The restoration of the USA is not an easy task as much of history has been lost during the Social Wars. Primarily events from 1978 to around 2150. Many of those inhabiting US territory do not today consider themselves citizens of the US and it is these two factors that drive the challenge the US faces in being restored. That and the issues that ignited the Social Wars- issues that resurface or linger even now. Along with these internal issues are outside forces that threaten the nation.

Additional Info
This RP has been created to explore how life and politics are in the Restored United States of the Gamma World setting (hosted by the Titans RP Group) however it is not binding it's self exclusively to that lore. Thus players new to the setting need not learn the details of it. They are only expected to explore the situation presented. However if you would like to learn more this link will provide details. Gamma World is what is called a 'living world' and thus is changing with each RP or has been until this one which while not counting towards the continuity will still be used to help better portrayal of the US in the setting as new angles are presented by the players who enroll. We also hope to increase interest in Gamma World though this RP.

Description
Humanity seems to only advance further in the modern era. The world never rests thanks to a variety of nations, cultures, politics, incidents (positive or negative), and so forth. However, hidden from the public eye, as well as from most of history’s spotlight, is a virus capable of unprecedented destruction.

The Solanum virus has existed for thousands of years, perhaps as far back as 60,000 years ago more more. Those infected have no hopes of being cured and are condemned to return as undead cannibals (assuming the brain is intact). It is likely a miracle that the Solanum virus has not yet brought humankind to its knees. However, with the world being interconnected more than ever and with bliss running in countless people, there is no better time for the undead to rise than now.

As the dead begin to walk the earth, people and countries of the world will definitely respond. However, how they will respond would be a major question. Some may dismiss rumors, others may actively suppress “fake news,” and a few would prepare for a world slowly spiralling into chaos. No matter what journey a person or country will take, one thing will be certain: the world will never be the same when the Solanum virus surfaces once again.

Description

23 years after the world's end, America's population has been overwhelmingly enclosed in "0 Hour Towers", catastrophic survival structures designed to house survivors for the eventual re-population of the earth. In the meantime, the "Grounder" taskforce has been established to help obtain pre-war information and goods which cannot be easily replicated or are impossible to find. They are each tower's cream of the crop fighting force.

It all started 20 years ago. On February 17th, 2020 every human above the age of 17 suddenly disappeared into thin air. It became the worst catastrophe in human history. The first year was chaos. Refugees migrated from the cities to the countryside for food and clean water. Many others migrated to hydroelectric powered areas for the sake of electricity. Around 1/2 of the world's nuclear power plants had experienced meltdowns, resulting in sever radiation poisoning and even mutation. Within a year, the human population had been reduced to as little as 1.5 billion. Settlements eventually started forming in rural areas, as the former cities were now abandoned, and experiencing the infiltration of wildlife. Within 10 years, City States started forming across the world, with essential services beginning to be restored. But now nomadic hordes were a major threat to many smaller areas and rural communities. Within 20 years of the vanishing, nations have been formed again. There are a variety of ideologies in this new world. However, anarchy still exists in many areas of the world, nomads still run wild and free in some areas, and mutants still roam in areas near the nuclear meltdowns. The former cities are now covered in vegetation and inhabited by various species of Flora and Fauna. Some nations and individuals are on the brink of rediscovering the world's nuclear arsenals. However, humanity has survived the worst catastrophe in history, and will soon thrive again.

Description
For whatever reason, the third planet from the Sun has developed a peculiar landscape. Defying nearly all laws of geology, the planet has ended up being inverted form what would normally have happened, oceans are where the continents are, and a massive landmass is where the oceans are. Lakes become islands, gulfs become peninsulas, and trenches become mountain ranges. The world is made of 7 significant oceans, and a single interconnected landmass dotted with large extensive rivers running through it. The tallest mountains are where the trenches of our world are, with the highest one being the Mariana Mountain Range, the tallest peak being what we know as Challenger Deep. While a water shortage would be expected in this world, there is certainly no shortage of freshwater, as the unique topography of this world allow for rivers to run extensive distances, the most notable being the Mariana river, which is sourced from the snowmelt of the Mariana Mountains and runs all the way into the Pacific Savannah, creating an area of fertile land around it. What we know as the Pacific ocean becomes a massive, expansive, and largely dry landmass, however, it doesn’t become a desert due to the humidity from the American Ocean, and instead, the more western parts become semi-arid savannah and Steppe. Our Mid-Atlantic ridge, an underwater mountain range, becomes a large basin, due to its elevation, ending up being extremely dry, so dry that crossing it is near impossible. The most fertile parts of this land are the coasts of the American Ocean, the banks of the Mariana River, and our Indian Ocean, as well as the Mediterranean Peninsula and the Caspian Island. Many other islands dot the oceans, notably the archipelago that would be our world’s Great Lakes. For whatever reason, life has developed just like it did in our world, and with it came Humans, who have discovered fire and quickly spread across the massive landmass. The first civilizations have begun to emerge.

OOC: I saw this inverted Earth map, and wondered how Human civilization and culture would have developed if the Earth actually looked like this. I’m not a geologist, this is simply a thought exercise that I did, I don’t care about the actual geological possibility of such an Earth being possible, nor do I care about how it would affect evolution. For the sake of this RP, for whatever reason, all life on Earth has evolved as it did IRL, including humans, who started out close to where they did IRL, near the coast of the African Ocean, but have since spread across the world. Anyways, I hope we develop an interesting world, and most importantly, have fun!

Description
This roleplay starts within a post-apocalyptic Alaska that is 100 years after the cold war ended by an apocalyptic meteor strike which wiped out western Europe and triggered the end of the world. You now find yourself one of the lucky few million living above a certain latitude, and unfortunately imprisoned for a crime you committed. Of course, you now are given a chance to earn your freedom, and you can do that by joining an expedition investigating the mysterious fog that seems to stretch eternally. The fog has consequences with entities that seem to feed off of the fragile mental states of humans by going after their fatal flaw and exploiting their fears, and guilt. If your fatal flaw cannot be exploited, or you cannot be killed your very sanity will be targeted so good luck.

Description
It has been three years since the Earth has been liberated from the alien overlords called the Zedhai. Thanks to the work of the Defiant and their allies, ending twenty years of oppression under the Zedhai's control. While humanity is free, the fight is far from over. The Alien remnants of the Zedhai's army that are hostile to humanity still roam the planet, taking up territory and daring the humans to take back their lands. That and while this would be a good time for humanity to stand united, unity has gone with different opinions on how to rebuild the world. Some being tyrannical in nature. In response to these threats, the Defiant has been transformed into a peacekeeping organization that works to deal with these threats. Stretching their selves thin and a newly formed unit call Onyx is about to undertake their first mission. While to them and the rest of the Defiant are unaware of a new unknown threat that is gaining strength out in the wasteland.

The geopolitical shifts of the 1990s were the largest in world history. The USA, USSR, Yugoslavia, China, France, India, and Ireland had collapsed by 2000. Communist and Neo-Nazi elements had risen across much of the northern and northeastern United States respectively. The Confederacy is the main power in North America, likely to change the fate of the continent. Europe is complicated. The main power is the Germanic Socialist Union. It has puppet governments around it such as East France and Poland-Lithuania. Fascism has returned in Italy. While the main forces resisting the communists are the UK-lead Europact and the Russian-led CSTO. In Asia, the DPRK, Mongolia, and Taiwan have expanded their borders. China has been shrunken by both these expansions onto their old territories and independence movements in Tibet and East Turkestan. India is split between a Communist South, and a Democratic North. The world is torn apart between various alliances of new and old nations. It is now 2020. The DPRK is militarizing. The World Internationale also begins preparations for war. Civil wars are currently raging on in Syria and Yemen. Russia prepares for a "Second Great Patriotic War" against the Germans. Tensions rise between the communist United Socialist States of America, The Confederate States of America, and the Neo-Nazi White American Commonwealth. Iraq under Saddam Hussein has taken over Kuwait and border regions of Syria. A third world war is imminent. But, who will fire the first shot?

iIn an alternate universe, all is not well. The United States is tired, bogged down in countless small-scale foreign wars; while at home, much of the government has fallen under the sway of a powerful and ruthless mafia. A team of antiheroes, combining everythin from ex-special ops troops to disgruntled magic users have one mission: and that mission is to make things right again in the troubled land they call home.

Most of the enemy force will be played by npcs, however well-written applications for the mafia are welcome. Antiheroes will be entirely player controlled.

Description
The land of Francia is in dire trouble. The good lord protector has died, leaving an heir who went mad shortly after ascending the throne. The nation fell into the hands of a corrupt Realm Regent, who invited disaster by inviting foreign hordes of mercenaries to fight his wars of conquest. At the earliest opportunity, these sell-swords turned on the Regent and slaughtered the leadership of the nation. Declaring themselves as the rightful rulers, the Regent is now a puppet of these warrior throngs who now rule across the whole of Francia, allying with the countries enemies, and destorying all opposition to their mob tyranny.

You are a Frankish lad or lass, a person of above-average note in the riverside town of Lesse-Sur-Fortu. Your leige lord is holding a grand tournament, and has offered unlanded titles of nobility (along with craftwork and monetary prizes) to those who preform the best at their chosen event of choice. Rumor is already flying across the markets and taverns of town though, that the tournament may have to be called off. The arrival of refugees earlier this morning from neighboring townships speak of a large cohort of Saxon mercenaries and Frankish bandits running raids across the country side, and Lesse may be next! We begin the adventure on the decision of our PC's, whether to join, spectate, or avoid the tournament all together.

Welcome to SEIGE. A pet project of mine that is inspired from tabletop RPGs, Arthurian myth literature, and events set across the Middle Ages. Mainly in Europe, but I am open to all sources of inspiration within the time period.

This is not a modern fantasy; magic may exist, as might dragons. You most likely won't be traveling among the company of elves and dwarfs, but you will have heard of them from Uncle Athelwold, whose great-great-grandfather was once a knight and slayed a troll. We will be relying less on outright supernatural, and more mysticism.

Time is long, as is the central story, which takes place over three generations. It is recommended therefore, that at the start of play, players have one PC completed and two on the drawing board. It is my hope that this story will lend itself to being played across three generations: grandparents, parents and offspring.

It's a big place. With all this time, it is encouraged for players to think of their characters own desires, and fashion them into bucket list of personal quests.These, along with GM designed side-quests, will be the bricks that build the structure for pursuing the central story; and plus, it's just plain fun to get side tracked!

But we’re short on seats. As a matter of fact, I would like to start with four players, who feel very motivated and wish to stick this out for as long as it's fun. I do not require rapid activity or posts every day, but I do wish for a slow-burn of enthusiasm. This is more of a marathon, with small sprints in between.

Description
This RP follows five distinct groups of people, a gang of escaped convicts, dirty cops, clean cops, the ex wife of one of the convict and her family, and an old and disgraced family of southern gentry, as they all vie for buried money. Players can choose to be a member of any of these groups, so long as there is a spot open, and they then do everything in their power to help their group win. Each starts in a different place in the United States, and all must rush towards the location of the money. Along the way, each group will be given different quests, which will need to be completed in order to keep your group safe from the law, find food, get money, and find hotels to sleep in. Not completing quests will result in complications, such as a police chase, having to sleep on the ground, or not having enough money to eat, which could slow your group down and prevent them from making it to the money first.

Description

This is a Fallout Nation RP set in the American South and parts of the Caribbean, starting in the year 2293. While heavily based on, this is not a orthodox retelling of the Fallout Lore. Our Point of Divergence is 2077, when the bombs are dropped and the world is destroyed. From there, nothing is set in stone and is up to all of us. Players, when creating their nations, can choose to use Fallout Lore or come up with entirely new inventions for their nation and its lore. My goal isn't to have people follow a strict idea of Fallout, but instead allow them to build their Fallout world as they want it. If you want a Brotherhood of Steel or a Enclave, your entirely allowed to create one, If you want to create an entirely new Republic or Kingdom or Tribe in the middle of the American South then you are good for the rp.

Description

Description

The longest running comedy RP series on Nation States is back!

The Minnesota Infinites are not your typical group of superheroes. They don't get comic book deals. They aren't recognized by the public. They get ignored by the media. And other (more "traditional") heroes often tend to think pretty low of these guys. They are the lamest group of D-level superheroes in the small town of Orient, Minnesota. And they as a team are out to save the day. Or rescue cats out of trees. That is, the Minnesota Infinites will be there as long as the other more powerful heroes think that it's not quite worth their time, but somebody should do something. And the Minnesota Infinites love to go up against everything that gets thrown their way.

There are also villains. Villains who want to humiliate, ridicule, one-up, etc. etc., the heroes. Sadly, these guys are also pretty lame too. But just because they are pretty pathetic in their powers, doesn't mean they can't pose a challenge.

In this arc, The Infinites: Infinite Gauntlet, this is something of a parody take on the Marvel Infinity War movies. It's not going to be the same plot as the Marvel movies, because that would infringe on copyright and frankly I don't have the money to afford legal fees. But, one thing about the Marvel movies was that the heroes who had to rise to the occasion were the powerful ones. How would the least powerful with the lamest powers fare if they were in a completely not similar situation?

But again, since this isn't the same plot, and this in fact will be a whole new one, you'll just have to sign up to find out.
