Description
Beacon Academy, a school built to train teenagers to fight soulless monsters known as the creatures of Grimm, has been reclaimed, but it is no time for celebration. Beacon Academy was heavily damaged during the battle where it fell to the Grimm, the campus is littered with the corpses of those who died to retake it, several teams left leaderless or otherwise decimated after the Fall of Beacon Academy and the battle to reclaim Beacon Academy have been reunited with their surviving members and/or have forged new friendships, students killed in the weeks following the Fall of Beacon are being replaced, the acting headmistress is being kept on a short leash by the Council that rules the Kingdom of Vale, and the powers that be have shifted their priorities to a new purpose: capturing the silver eyed arch traitor Ruby Rose, a former student and a cohort of Cinder Fall, the golden eyed woman who had instigated the Fall of Beacon Academy. She continued to stay off the grid, the mountain of mangled, battered, and mutilated corpses that were unfortunate enough to pursue the price on her head when they were still alive being the only evidence of her still being alive. Many members of the White Fang, the civil rights group turned terrorist organization that is only aligned with Cinder Fall because she strong armed Adam Taurus, who was the second-in-command prior to the Fall of Beacon Academy, into joining forces with her, have considered betraying Ruby Rose for the reward money and a full pardon for their actions, but none have acted on those plans out of fear of retaliation from her current allies. The Slavers Guild fights amongst itself, blaming the other half of the organization for the death of one of its leaders. The White Fang has allied itself with the Wolf Lords Tribe, the Storm Blade Tribe, and the Crimson Moon Clan in preparation for the battles ahead. Secrets will be revealed, Stakes will be raised, new players will step out of the shadows, and the balance of power will change.

Description
The realm of Meridia has been prosperous and at peace for a long period. However, under the surface, from peasants to lords, many segments of the population are cryptids - lycans, vampires, changelings and witches. A secret war has begun, between the human-supremacist Followers of Truth, who see it as their duty to wipe out the supernatural beings, and the Society of the Black Cloak, who fight against the humans who have oppressed them. Humans and cryptids alike stand in the middle, some unaware of the war, but all simply do not wish to die in the crossfire.

Description
Set in a slightly different political reality of the United Kingdom, Westminster RP takes place in year 2017. It is important to know that the RP takes place in the same universe as it's older "sister-RP" Washington.

After the Brexit referendum the British political scene became very chaotic with politicians across the spectrum setting their sights on 10 Downing Street. The incumbent Prime Minister Archibald Wyvern is having a hard time staying in power after losing the referendum almost a year before with pretty much everyone seing him as a "lame duck" PM. His situation had been made worse when events in the United States and Japan have led to a world-wide economic downturn. With the Conservative PM lacking support from his own party the Parliament ended up in a gridlock, unable to adress the economic situation of the Kingdom.

Much remains to be seen as the PM has recently announced his intention to step down and for a new General Election to be held after his successor has been chosen. This means a leadership contest is bound to happen and with the unstable political scene it's everyone's game.

The RP is set in the year 2044, 80 years after the nuclear conclusion to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Factions have limited access to Pre-Crisis military tech and Post-Crisis vehicles which would up to the early 1960s. Every so often, there will be an event that can range to affecting the whole map to just a small portion of it. It can be good, or it can be bad for whoever it affects. Description

The Kaiserreich and her allies are victorious over the Warsaw Pact! The leaders of the Pact, China and Russia, have been dismantled into smaller states never to threaten the world again. The Eastern States of Europe have been once more brought back into the fold of the Kaiserreich and the spoils of war. But despite this, the world is in ruins! The unrestricted nature of warfare has left many cities and nations in ruins. Families have been shattered and fathers have to bury their sons. The Kaiserreich is no exception for Prussia is also in ruins and on the verge of Economic collapse but despite this, a new age of the Kaiserreich begins! Citizens once more see luxury’s on the streets of Berlin, Oil is no longer rationed in Frankfurt, and Hamburgers can once more be eaten in Hamburg. The wealth of the reclaimed Eastern states once more flows into Germany and the Benefits of the Empire are given back. A golden age is on the horizon!

But despite this, foes of the Kaiserreich still lurk at her feet waiting to bite when the time is right. Well set plans are set in motion and even the agents of the Kaiserreich’s intelligence service cannot see the foes moving under their noses! Events are coming to a head as on November 5th the Reichstag plans to set a bill in motion that will change the course of History and our foes prepare an attack that will shake the world.

Description
World War Three was 350 years ago, the date is now 2350. Mankind has evolved to withstand the nuclear fallout. New Empires now arise, and the technology of war is making a comeback. Technology level is similar to WWI, but no gas, heavy artillery, tanks, or bombers. RPers will create a low-ranking soldier who fights for one of several empires, and each soldier’s decisions will ultimately change the course of history. Empires include the Nordic, Iberian, Japanese, Yan, Hindu, and many more.

Description

It happened. Humanity has fallen. Winter encompasses our world.

It has been over eight hundred years since GRIMS tore through the skybox, opening our world to the freezing vacuum of space. Ice covers the globe, frozen wastes spread as far as the eye can see. Survival is all that matters now.

Within the Eternal Valley lies the bones of mankind’s former glory. Aeternum city within its midst, a desolate reminder of better times. Around it stretches the ruins of human towns, skyscrapers, homes. All was lost, and we may never gain it back.

Humanity has moved backwards in many ways. Technology has been lost, and most equipment is merely leftover from the Aeternum years. At this point, they are just making upkeep with the equipment they’ve got, and trying not to lose it.

The world has become more hostile. Radioactive blizzards abound, where even the thickest armor will succumb to it’s assault, frying circuits and destroying mechs. And during the nights, the most dangerous of the robotic lifeforms come out, attacking all in sight. As a result, humanity has dug underground, creating small cities and towns from where they may make forays onto the surface for much needed resources and tech.

There are some who claim there is hope for the remnant. Civilizations will emerge, cities rebuilt, a home reclaimed from the apocalypse. But how will they continue when their survival hangs on the edge of a knife?

Description
The Constitutional Monarchy of Asyaelom (based on the modern day) is nearing its next election, and YOU can take the opportunity to lead a political party of your creation into victory. The nation needs an entirely new parliament, new parties and definitely new leaders. For the election, all positions of the government are free including a vacant position for the Prime Minister, the Chief Advisor to the Monarch, the Speaker and numerous ministers. Campaign for your victory in the election with the policies of your party and lead your nation into prosperity once you have achieved victory!

But beware, if you do decide to take up the job of creating your own political party in Asyaelom you will face numerous challenges. Opposition from other parties, gaining supporters, your policies being questioned and even the Monarch themselves. But you will also celebrate in the victories, friends and power that you gain.

There will only be four major parties which have numerous supporters and are extremely significant in the nation at a time. Any other party will be a minor party, however at any time a minor party may triumph over a major party with enough work and determination. Asyaelom is truly an environment where a leader can climb the ranks with ease.

Description
At the Gates of Elysium will tell the story of several university students exposed to a conflict within the virtual world of Elysium, one which threatens to spill over into their neighborhood, their city, and even the entire planet. They will take their sides as, on top of having to deal with typical university life, they will be working to save - or upend - the future of humanity. Set starting in May 2020, the story will also cover the growing role of technology in our world, and how easy it is to cause mass disruption through even small changes or impacts to that technology.

At the Gates is not going to be a story for the meek or squeamish - it will tell a far darker and more nuanced story than any of the previous RPs I've written in this genre, and will set the stage for the intricate plot lines that make up the Elysium Variations.

Description
Welcome to the year 400 billion and 7, A.D. Space travel has discovered many hundreds of thousands of alien races and worlds. Generations ago, some inept, clueless politicians came up with an agreement among all alien worlds to group together in an agency called The Amalgamation of Planets, Moons, Asteroids and Other Space Dwellings (but without having any central government, authority, currency, or anything else really in common among all alien worlds except a cool looking space logo).

Enter our heroes. On the Amalgamation Star Ship Burger (Or A.S.S. Burger), which is basically a glorified taxi service, alien customers get carried to and fro various places in the universe. They and whatever cargo they want shipped. All characters start out as janitors on the ship.

But that's not where they will end up. There is a lot of danger on the horizon. A lot of lives will be lost. And the characters are in the right place, right now, even though it doesn't seem like it. Being an interstellar janitor doesn't seem like a powerful position. They do not yet know how important they are. But they will soon. And when they do - maybe - just maybe - the fate of the universe could depend on these very janitors. And who knows? Mars may just need to get Windex to be redeemed.

Description
Based on the popular anime, this RP takes place about a century after the start of the original Legend of the Galactic Heroes series. The East Coast is a dark place now. In a world that is long past its prime, the East is especially so, and as the fighting between the Fireflies and the FEDRA government grows ever more violent, refugee's flee West in droves. West, it seems, is the safe place. Its the promised land. A land where the dry environment has lead to less infection and more people. And a land where a recent uprising in many of its QZ's has left it free from FEDRA control, and where the surviving communities are working to try and build their own free civilization, it seems better a place than anywhere else. But the interior, the great and vast land in between the two oceans is a treacherous place. Raiders stalk the Heartland, and infected roam the South. The North is an oppressive regime, and the deserts are empty and devoid of life. Any who wishes to make this trek must be prepared to die, and must be willing to work with their fellow man if they ever hope to survive such an undertaking. You are one of those people, a refugee from the crumbling remains of the Washington D.C. QZ, where Fireflies, gangs and an out of control Cordiceps outbreak has forced most to flee. Description
The year is 2050, 15 years after a global unnatural storm wreaked havoc and unleashed otherworldy radiation on the world. Seemly only the residents of Pacifica, a floating ocean city that was constructed years before the storm survived. Pacifica, itself was damaged by the storm and now after 15 years of isolation, a third expedition has been called to gather materials needed to repair Pacifica and to find other survivors. From the second expedition's base on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. Description
This is a deity rp, with the gods separated into three groups (celestial, ethereal and cthonic). The first week of the rp will allow for some more direct worldbuilding but the story will primarily take place in the mythic era. Hello and welcome. This iteration of AWH takes place four years after the events of the previous version (Rekindled), of which, the events will be considered loose canon. This will be open world, so it is up to you to be involved and find things to do. You can be either a hero or villain, but you should be a newer and relatively unknown hero/villain.

I urge you to interact with other players and their characters. If you're a hero, pick a fight with a villain, and vice versa. Make rivalries, get revenge, you know... metahuman things. I will be running a few Hero and villain groups, and coordinating with Okayanos, our Co-OP, to have some large and over-arching threats to keep you all entertained from time to time.

"Imagine if approximately one percent of the world had some kind of abnormal power, Sometimes it could be a dangerous or useful power, other times it could be a minor power that won’t change too much about daily life. That one percent doesn’t sound like a large number on its own, but in a world with more than seven billion people, one percent can have a great impact. Give one percent of the population great power, and you suddenly have a group of people spread out across the globe who are powerful enough to topple countries if they team up and set their mind to it. The main story of the RP follows the Young Guardians Program, run by the largest superhero organization in the world with the intent to train the next generation. Members play as recruits for the newly established Section C, and will be involved in increasingly important missions around New York City and later, the entire world as a part of this training. There is also room for side stories outside of this, located around the fleshed out world of the RP involving factions such as villain teams, other hero groups, and government agencies.

Description
A new century dawns on an Earth that has only just started to rebuild after nuclear war. Humanity survived the war, hidden in bunkers far beneath the earth. Their society was not as lucky. Of course, that has started to rebuild, as well, as small settlements begin to dot the world above-ground and rebuilding has started to occur.

The slate has been wiped clean by nuclear fire. New nations are rising out of the ashes, some taking inspiration from the old world, some being totally different. But can they stand the test of time?

Synopsis

2321 C.E. Pleiades Cluster. Long after the first human seedships arrive in the cluster, the colonies of humanity had struggled and thrived in the inhospitable depths of space. Interstellar empires building on knowledge left behind by their Terran predecessors had been forged, and secrets left behind by strangers long gone had been uncovered and reverse-engineered for humanity’s benefit. The history of the Pleiades was one not too different from old Earth. With war and peace interspaced between one another in its short existence in the stars, the disparate nations of the Pleiades have contributed its fair share to humanity’s grim story.
That was, until Earth returned.

In 2297 C.E., unknown vessels of sleek design hailed the Pleiades in a long forgotten tongue. Calling themselves the Terran Empire, the descendants of humanity’s ruined homeworld and its Solar colonies seek to reclaim the legacy of the old nations of Earth. Slowly, they seized a foothold of the cluster, playing the bickering nations against each other with the promise of power and bounty. With an alliance against Terran aggression fragile and fleeting, the disparate navies of the Pleiades have been swept away one by one. But one ship refused to back down, even in the face of absolute disaster. That ship is our home and the hope of the Seven Sisters.

An Apocalyptic Nightmare is a roleplay set in a somewhat dystopian mid-20th Century. It is nominally a mechanics-based roleplay between six roleplayers each representing a superpower state, but the possibility of playing as something or someone else and influencing, but not being a part of, the mechanics is left open. The mechanics are designed to spark early but not intense conflict between superpower roleplayers, and keep it going.

To think, it has started so well. The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 removed, or so it seemed, the last serious obstacle to the establishment of peace, freedom, and capitalist prosperity to every last man, woman, and child on Earth. Some even spoke of an "End to History," as all ideological alternative to liberal democratic forms of government disappear. The Information Revolution was swinging in full speed, with an increasingly interconnected telecommunications network, and this new "Internet" began putting five thousand years of human knowledge and discoveries at the fingertips of those who care to look. Global trade brought industrialisation and employment to the world's poorer billions as cheaper products flooded the markets of service economies, to the delight of consumers. Civilisation was a wonderful dream that would take us into utopia forever and ever and ever...

Then the dream shattered.

This RP once started off in II, but now, we plan on expanding our horizons, and it appears that the former OP wishes to have his reboot here. Its a good decision. We just need both nation and character roleplayers, from a politician influencing the nation to the lowest of recruits, you can be anything in-between. Your characters might be sent off to the front after conscription, or you could RP as a factory worker manufacturing the guns of your nation. Politicians? No problem, you can play as one in the more republican nations, and perhaps found an anti-war movement, or incite revolution? Either way, the choice is yours. You can be anyone in this RP.
