Description

ONE HUNDRED YEARS have passed since the downfall of revolutionary communism as a world ideology, and yet the 'end to history' promised by triumphant liberals at the end of the 20th Century is still nowhere in sight. Rather, civilisation seems stuck crawling through the murky depths, with a series of existential challenges the likes of which had never been seen before in human history slowly closing in on its neck like a hangman's noose. These are interesting times, and as the apocryphal saying goes to live in interesting times is a curse.

And yet, and yet. Human beings are not known for their tendency to die quietly and go off into that good night. It is in exactly these darkest hours, with the gravest of threats shaking the world to its very core, that the light of heroes shine the brightest. As states and individuals contemplate actions and ideas that would have been unthinkable a hundred, fifty, or even twenty years ago, as firebrands in every field of human endeavour seek to build a new world, on the ashes of the old if necessary, the doomed runaway train of human history may yet be diverted to a different course.

Description
2023, a year marked by relief. As the Russian-Ukraine war has ended on Ukraine's terms and luckily for the world. China has for now backed off of a possible invasion of Taiwan. So where the world seemed relieved by this news. For one city in America, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A tragedy will occur and things would change for the city and the world. For instead of another quiet day in this city, at eight o'clock at night and during the last hour of the Oklahoma State Fair. A group of monsters led by some kind of specter appeared at OKC Fairgrounds through a portal on the northeastern part of the fairgrounds. Chaos ensued and the local guards and police. They were quickly overwhelmed in the chaos and it was not until more police and SWAT reinforcements arrived on the scene that they managed to kill the monsters. Though the leader of the monsters, the specter was only killed thanks to the quick thinking of an officer when it was clear that bullets were not fazing it. He used a taser and found that it was weak to electricity and he and several officers tasered the specter until it died. Or at least they think they killed it. Saving the day though at the cost of many lives. Both civilian and police.

When morning came, the city was busy with activity as news of it broke, and soon local and major news stations were reporting it. Getting the attention of the US government and later the world. The portal was cornered off and fortified in case more monsters arrived. But, strangely enough, while no monsters came through, a signal was detected that was coming from the portal. It was some kind of message but, it was distorted and corrupted.

When it became clear that the portal was not going away, there was talk of what to do. Ultimately it was decided that an expedition led by the US was to be formed and sent through the portal to explore and kill any hostiles that they find. Along with finding the source of the signal and determine the nature of the message. Now two weeks later, the expedition was ready to send out its first sortie. No one knows what to expect but, one thing is certain. Monsters lie on the other side and if they want to make sure that they can not kill any more innocents. They must go through and deal with this threat and along the way discover more about this new world that lies beyond the portal.

The Lendrii Republic is an intergalactic entity whose primary mission is to protect all life from the rampaging Kylarchs. The Kylarks are an alien species who managed to dominate much of the universe, using their advanced technology to conquer their foes. This, coupled alongside their ability to shape-shift, allows them to defeat nearly any enemy. However, the aforementioned Lendrii were able to rise up and liberate their planet from the Kylarks. The Lendrii (a humanoid extraterrestrial species) serves as a bulwark against the expanding Kylark Empire. The mysterious High Centurion, the leader of the Lendrii, holds many supernatural and unexplainable powers. Amongst these, is the ability to bestow the subjects of Planet Lendria with unique abilities.

The Lendrii have been able to liberate thousands of planets from the Kylarks. The ongoing war between the two aliens is still ongoing. The High Centurion, a being of immense intelligence and scientific skill, has identified Earth as the next target for Kylarkian expansion. The intergalactic conflict is now brought to the people of earth. Due to the increased threat the Kylark pose, the High Centurion no longer relies on a military composed of millions of soldiers. Instead, the High Centurion has created the Warrior Program. This program takes a handful of the most talented Lendrii youth and trains them to be elite assassins for the Republic. Warriors are given special powers in order to combat the Kylarkian threat. The High Centurion has sent a team of Warriors to protect earth from the upcoming Kylark invasion.

However, all is not well with the Warrior Program. One Warrior, whose human name is Raphael, has gone rogue. For an unknown reason, Raphael is no longer dedicated to peace and protecting Earth. Instead, he seeks to destroy it. With the biggest threat facing Earth coming from the very people trying to save it, all focus is now on finding Raphael before he wrecks further havoc. It is now up to the 15th Warrior Corp to take down Raphael and ensure the protection of the planet. With Raphael beginning his rampage in the US city of Miami, the future is uncertain.

Description

Welcome to the 20th Century, for a span of 9 years the world had burned in what seemed to be the end of civilization itself. Great armies of man and machine had come to blows, plunging mankind into an age of darkness never before seen, with the world's foundations shattered from the fires of war, revolution and disorder. Great cities and marvels of the world that once stood high and proud, now laid waste by shot and shell.

And to think that with such sacrifice, all man was left with in the end were the painful reminders of what may be if greed and the lust for power were to meet once again. Examples of an inevitable future foreseen time and time again…


The alliances that had once held much of the world together like glue, were dismantled and done away with after the war's end. The Alliance of Republican Nations had already been fractured piece by piece, initially with the Norcourtian Republic's withdrawal from the pact in 1902, and ending with the last stand of the Traansval Boers in 1921. In regards to the Western League, despite still being active, at least on paper, stood as a paper tiger when enforcing its foreign policy, being mocked by the working class and wealthy politicians alike. The inability to commit to action and pure indecisiveness that stemmed from disagreements among the leaders of the league, has left the once strong beast, crawling in the dust of time, and dissent.

Though man's arrogance would not seem to only warrant destruction and despair. As the old world burned away, a new one would emerge from its ashes...

Fast forward to now, the year is now 1925, 4 years have passed since the “War to End All Wars”. The world has changed dramatically, in the new world, ideologies had emerged from the once thought madness of the old, and had become prominent and popular. One such ideal brought to fruit, could be seen with the Red Socialists of the Transvaal, who have brought their ideology to the forefront of its political stage, imposing hegemony on the Afrikaan continent. Young nations forged in the flames of the World War would also come to light as the fires of old fizzled away, with many of which emerging in the continent of Indianum, such as that of the Nations of Iron Guard Hoosier, a downright authoritarian strong man of a nation, the Libertian Union, a young republic finding it's purchase on the continent, and the Federation of Breyburg, long since sleeping, neutral in the brutal war since passed, began to wake.

Though changes did come with the passage of time, the scars of the old world are still very much so prevalent in this modern one. From the shell hole ridden lands of the once mighty Manticoran Empire, to the many rivalries that managed to survive the onslaught of the war, like that of the Arengin Union and the people of Ruskland, with their confederates in the Triarchy forever fueled by their old Slavic rivalries. Even that of the Aydinirian and Aclusian Empires, who had come to blows, as one pushed the other over feuds of ancient titles and lands of the Eastern continent, and legitimacy of the Aclusian Raj, still persevered despite years of stagnant diplomatic efforts.

In the southern continent of Zeeland, or Elixia depending on what side you're on, the Elixian Union had been born again from the state formerly addressed as the Norcourtian Republic, untouched by the fires of the 9 Years War, ridding itself of internal struggles, and a painful civil war that lingers in the minds of many, even 20 years later. Still, the Aclusians enforce their aggressive foreign policy on the land, securing Aclusian held Zeeland and dominance over other such foreign landholders like the Twelve Isles and Wargloria. Nevertheless, with but one spark of flint the balance of power can be shifted, with tensions arising amidst many border conflicts between Aclus and Elixia, and the recent Elixian annexation of the Kingdom of Nuza.

With all of this in mind, the world has suffered through many a struggle, but none of which the people themselves are not willing to endure. The beacon of hope and a prosperous future, though dimming, still bleakly shines in the eyes of many, after all, the wheels of time and history, though riddled with blood and steel, will never stop moving…

As the 18th century is coming to an end, the world is changing. The ideas of the Enlightenment, of liberalism and of the equality of men have been spreading like a wildfire in the European continent - and in the colonies of European powers as well. Absolute monarchs find their God-given rights challenged by an emerging bourgeoise class demanding representative government. Multinational empires are struggling to hold together their realms as the ideas of nationalism spread among their diverse subjects. In the European colonies in the Americas, the idea of self-determination is taking roots and perhaps it won't be long before some of those colonies declare their independence. In Asia, ancient and rich empires are struggling to keep up with the West and fend off threats to their independence. Africa is slowly becoming the new battleground for colonial influence as Europeans hungrily stare at the vast continent.

The An Era of Revolutions is a geopolitical RP set in the late 18th century, more specifically the year 1780. This was an interesting period in human history as newly emerging ideologies - like liberalism and nationalism - began challenging the traditional status quo in Europe and the Americas, while in Asia and Africa native states had to fend off European expansionism. It is an era of revolutions and radicalism: but also an era of absolute Kingship and extravagant royal courts.

Welcome to Fear and Loathing, a 1960s American Political and Character RP where players can explore the ins and outs of government, from the Dixiecrats desperately trying to fight back against the march of progress to antiwar progressives hoping to put an end to the bloody Vietnam War to conservatives touting an agenda of restoring law and order to a bitterly divided nation.

The 1960s were one of the most tumultuous and divisive decades in world history, marked by the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War and antiwar protests, political assassinations and the emerging "generation gap." What is your place? Are you a war hawk who promises to finally defeat the Vietcong and stop the dominoes from falling? Description
The Sun Never Sets spans the French Revolutionary Wars through the Napoleonic Period and possibly beyond. Description
It has been three years since the evil demi-god Balathu managed to sever the mortal world from the realm of the gods. Causing a chain reaction that created untold destruction that left the world in a sorry state. Its soil is less fertile, its rivers and lakes less full, and even the sun itself was affected. While it was still shining, its light was dimmer, like something was covering it. To make things worse for the survivors, not only that bandits/raiders now roam the land. But also monsters, undead, and what is left of Balathu's augmented followers that now call themselves Reavers. Now one demi-god Syagros, not content to just survive in this new world, seeks an ambitious task. To restore the world to what it used to be, it will be a hard task but one he feels must be done. So, he has gathered what demi-gods he can find and from his base in the fortified settlement of Byllina where they plan. In ancient times, King Kronos unified the Seven Realms into a single strong Imperium. The Great City of Eiselene stands strong! The last great city of humanity, the city of Eiselene lords over the various strongholds, holdfasts, and villages of the Isle of Avhasia. Ruled by the stalwart King Leoryx IV Telaíouyios, the Kingdom of Eiselene stands fast against the hordes of monsters and undead that seek to wipe humanity off the face of the planet. The reason that Eiselene stands while the rest of the kingdoms of humanity have fallen? The Divine Line of Eiselene, the Telaíouyios family. Descended from the god Telaeus and the first Eiselenei king Vetyatar, every monarch of Eiselene inherits the memories of the predecessor, along with the increased abilities that come with their divine blood.

You play as a faction or country in an alternate far-future America, where the sea levels rose one mile due to a seismic weapon tested by the USSR in the 1960s causing the Earth's deep crust and mantle to release enormous amounts of water into the oceans. Now all that remains is land formerly one mile above the ocean. However this land has greened, developed a more maritime climate and has been allowed over the centuries by a greatly-reduced human population to acquire thicker topsoil and forest cover. This is a world where Denver is a coastal city and has a similar climate to Virginia,and the most densely-populated part of North America is Idaho's mountain counties. Warlords use the new sealanes and old interstate highways to further their military ambitions, and industry is being reestablished.

Description
The setting is an alt history scenario where the New Netherland Colony remains in Dutch hands; the Revolution is an Anglo-Dutch one, resulting in the Confederation of American States being essentially a North American EU-type body over time, but the Republic of Belgium (Dutch North America/Northern States of US IRL, for the most part) and United Columbian Republic as the main two founding republics.

Generally, the RP's aim is to be diplomacy based and also explore the complicated international web of connections of CAS member states/republics and the outside world eventually.

Welcome to From Sea to Shining Sea, inspired by the 1960s RPs of Home of the Brave and it’s successor Fear and Loathing ‘68, this role play will explore the ins and outs of politics in the United States during the 1960 elections for Senate, House and Presidency.

As America leaves the relatively prosperous era of the 50s behind, she stands at a crossroads in her destiny, the cold war still rages around her, civil rights protestors rally against segregationists within the deep south, and the very morals of American society, her well cherished traditions and holidays, are now starting to be questioned by a new generation.

President Charles Henry Colfax was elected as a war hero, upsetting the interventionist wings on both sides of the political aisle. Colfax is similar to Eisenhower, with similar beliefs regarding civil rights, and foreign affairs, a similar tendency to be quiet yet cunning, and an identical emphasis on rhetoric that has kept American politics stable for his past two terms. In 1955 the Republicans took massive losses across the country resulting in losing the House as well as the Senate.

Join this RP as a Senator working to pass legislation, an ambitious Governor plotting their next steps in office, to a humble legislative Representative wanting to make the world a better place in their mindsets.
