Winter in the East (Closed: Nuridia and Tomia)

[Nuridia]

Raphael and Marie chuckled at John's comment, even Aurelia joined in. "Oh my God, I'm actually glad for Mom that it wasn't twins this time." "Poor thing would've been doubly suffering." Marie spoke to her daughter. "Well she's been good so far, she's actually calmed down a lot and I feel much better." Marie said. Raphael looked around. "Where the hell are those lazy ass brothers of mine?" "Guys, wake the fuck up!" Raphael shouted, going upstairs to where his brothers were. Marie smiled. "Wow, your dad's on a roll Aura." "I haven't heard him curse like that since...ever."

[Tomia]

John smiled at Aurelia's comment. "Ya that would suck. Well I'm glad it's not too ha right now Marie." John was surprised by Raphael's words and chuckled at Marie's comment. "Ya he doesn't seem like the cursing type. I should probably go he Eric and Sam up too." He said, kissing his girlfriend's cheek before walking off to wake his brother and cousin. He went to Eric's room and knocked on the door. "Hey wolfie, wake up." Eric answered the door after a few moments, looking tired, his hair more messy than usual. John smiled "You look good." He said teasingly. Eric grumbled "Shut up." He then got dressed and walked with John to get Sam who was equally tired and disagreeable. Together they walked back towards Aurelia and her parents. Meanwhile Mary and David were up and relaxing together in bed.

Marie shrugged. "He's probably a still tired from last night so he's not paying any attention to his words right now. After some noise from upstairs, there was a shout from Gabriel. "Alright Raph, we're up!" "We're up!" The people downstairs could hear it. "I know you're excited to see your son, I mean I'm excited to see my nephew too." "But it's not like Azrael's gonna let him fly away." the youngest angel grumbled, followed by some grumbles from the other angels and Raphael got a book thrown at his head by Uriel. "Ouch!" "Okay, I deserved that." "But it's Alex, I haven't seen him in so long." Marie heard everything from downstairs. "You okay hon?" the redhead asked her husband with concern. Raphael answered. "I'm fine Mimi, it's just they weren't expecting the rude awakening." "I still love you guys." Raphael told his brothers as they went to get ready. "Whatever." they answered tiredly, they loved their brother but were still peeved at being woken up. "Hey, Salma ain't up yet." Aurelia mentioned. "She's usually up by now, I wonder what's wrong?" the half angel asked.

[Tomia]

John, Eric, and Sam rejoined the others when they heard the commotion from upstairs. John heard Raphael yell and wondered what had happened. He then listened to Raphael's explanation. "Ya these two weren't exactly happy campers when I woke them up either." He said to the angel. Eric who was very sleepy wasn't really listening until Aurelia mentioned Salma. "Wait, Salma's not up yet?" He asked a little worriedly. His girlfriend usually woke up pretty easily. "I'm going to go check on her." He then walked back upstairs to Salma's room and knocked on the door. "Princess? Are you okay?" He asked through her door."

[Nuridia]

Raphael came back downstairs and Marie kissed the part of his head that had been hit. "If getting hurt gets me a kiss, I'll wake Uriel up more often." Raphael joked to his wife. Upstairs, Salma had woken up with a pretty bad headache and it hurt so much it prevented her from opening her eyes. Her body was hotter than usual, like she had a fever. She had seemed to have gotten pretty sick and now had hit her head pretty hard getting out of bed when she already had a crippling headache. She was on the floor curled up holding her head in pain and couldn't really talk. Tears leaked from her eyes from the pain which sizzled on contact with her hot skin. She heard Eric's voice but couldn't really speak to him except for the sound of crying.

John watched Eric walk away and was a little worried about his brother's girlfriend. Salma was basically like his little sister. He smiled at Raphael's comment but was clearly deep in thought.
Eric got very nervous when Salma didn't answer. "Salma?" He called out again. Then he heard her softly crying. He couldn't take it anymore. He tried to open her door but it was locked. "Salma! I'm breaking down the door!" He shouted to her. He turned into his werewolf form ripped the door right off it's hinges. He tossed it into the hallway and turned back to his human form. He rushed to Salma who was on the ground. "Oh my gods!" He called out when he saw his girlfriend was hurt. "Don't worry sweetie, I'm here he told her." Salma looked in bad shape, he saw her tears were even sizzling on her skin. He gently picked up his girlfriend. Her skin was burning his own but he didn't care. He gently held her in his arms as he moved as fast as he could to get Salma help. "Everything's going to be alright, I promise." He told his girlfriend as bravely as possible. He held her steady as he ran to Raphael. "Raphael! Salma's hurt! I ran into he room and she was on her floor. I don't know what happened but you have to help her please!" The worry was thick in his voice.

[Nuridia]

Raphael looked up in shock when Eric raced down the stairs with Salma in his arms. Her parents had been woken up by the noise and raced over to their daughter worriedly. "What's wrong with Salma?!" Aurelia asked in concern. Raphael laid the girl on the floor gently and looked her over. He placed a hand on her forehead and then on her heart and finally saw that she was clutching her head and looked at the area between her neck and shoulder, nearly jumping back at the heat. "Well she's certainly hot." "She's probably just overheated from all her practices with her fire powers, elevated temperature in a fire jinn is dangerous because they can't really cool down that well." "A little swig of this once a morning and once a night for two weeks and she'll be well." Raphael poured a bit of a potion that looked like liquid crystal into Salma's mouth and she stopped shaking after a bit. She had gone from burning up to cooling back down to her normal temperature and her eyes seemed to relax as her headache slowly faded away.

[Tomia]

John and Sam were very surprised when Eric came running in with Salma in his arms. Eric placed her down gently so Raphael to examine her. He watched worriedly as he examined her and breathed a sigh of relief when he said she would be okay. "Thank you so much Raphael. I can't tell you how much this means to me. Don't worry, I'll make sure she takes the medicine just like you said." He bent down to Salma's side put his hand on her forehead. She was getting cooler and looked like she was in less pain. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Salma? Can you hear me? Everything's alright. Raphael says your going to be fine. Try not to move much yet. We have to make sure you're alright now." He told his girlfriend looking into her eyes.

Salma was finally able to open her eyes as the pain disappeared in her head and looked at Eric. "What happened?" she whimpered. "Last thing I remember was being asleep and my body was suddenly on fire." Salma's parents knelt by her to make sure their daughter was okay. "Well I'm definitely glad she's gonna be alright." Marie said smiling with relief.

[Tomia]

Eric smiled in relief when Salma opened her eyes. He put his hand on her cheek "It's alright princess, you're safe. You didn't come downstairs this morning and I was starting to get worried so I went to your room to check on you. You didn't answer so I was scared. I heard you start to cry and then I ripped the door off the hinges to get you. I saw you were on the George and in pain so I picked you up and brought you to Raphael. He said you were overheated and he gave you some medicine to make you feel better." He told his girlfriend. John and Sam were relieved to see that Salma was okay. They had been really worried about her.

[Nuridia]

Salma smiled. "Sorry for making you guys worry, I guess I just went a little overboard with the practicing." Raphael stood up. "I'm glad you're feeling better Salma." "Thanks to you." Salma said back to Aurelia's father. "So, when are we going to Heaven, I wanted to meet you guys' family." the fire jinn said.

[Tomia]

John smiled at Salma. "It's alright kid. We're just glad you're okay." Eric held Salma's hand and listened to her as she spoke. He frowned a little when she spoke of going to heaven. "Sweetie" He said to her looking into her eyes. "I know you're really excited to go to heaven, I am too, but do you think that's a good idea right now? You were pretty seriously hurt, you need to rest. I'm not sure that you should go to heaven in your condition. I don't want anything to happen to you." Eric was very worried about Salma, and didn't want her to over exert herself.

[Nuridia]

Salma sighed. "I'm fine Eric, and besides we're going to Heaven." "What's the worst thing that could possibly happen, I feel fine now." "You know I do so hate being tied down, I like to be able to move and I hate staying in one spot too long sweetie." she told her boyfriend.

[Tomia]

Eric knew Salma wanted to go and didn't want to rest, but he was also a little upset that she didn't seem to be taking care of herself seriously. He knew she wasn't worried about it but he kind of wished she was. "I know you want to go Salma, and I'm not trying to tie you down, but you just had a serious accident. Can't you see I'm worried about you? I mean when I saw you on the ground like that I thought you might..." He stopped he couldn't even bring himself to think about losing Salma. "Alright, if you really want to go fine. But will you please promise me that when we get back you'll rest for a little while?" John shifted uncomfortably. He didn't really like the idea of Salma and Eric arguing.

[Nuridia]

Raphael turned to Salma. "Look Salma, I kno you want to go to Heaven." "Pj want to go too, to see my mother and my son again, but you're just recovering from a near meltdown." "You were like a nuclear reactor that overheated." "How about this, when we go to Heaven we'll stop at Kira's house first and you can rest there, then we can get going." Kira was like the archangels' mother. Salma looked at Raphael, she didn't like staying still but also didn't like making Eric upset and arguing with him. "Fine, I guess I'll do it." "But only to make Eric happy." Marie nodded at Salma. "Great, you need the rest and Eric won't be freaking out." "The key to a great relationship is compromise, you can't have what you want all the time." "Sometimes you have to find something that makes both parties happy." Marie didn't like the fact that Salma and her boyfriend were arguing but couldn't help but get sentimental. "Hey Raph, they're having their first lover's quarrel." "I know it's not cute but I couldn't help by remember our first quarrel, that means the relationship is progressing." Raphael looked at his wife. "Yeah, that argument was terrible." "You said a lot of hurtful things." "We both did." "When was the last time we argued?" "At the empress' party." Raphael answered his wife. "But that's old news now love."

[Tomia]

Eric was glad that Raphael seemed to be on his side. He listened to his idea. He figure that was a fair compromise, at least Salma would be able to rest. "I guess that's fine with me. Thanks Raphael." He heard Salma say she would only do it to make him happy and felt a little guilty. He took Salma's hand and looked into her eyes. "Thank you, I'm sorry I got upset. You know it's because I care about you right? I don't know what I'd do with out you. I just want you to be safe." He heard Marie's comment. "I didn't freak out." He grumbled quietly. John was glad that Salma and Eric stopped arguing. He thought about the first fight he had with Aurelia a few days ago. It definitely wasn't fun. "Well, I guess we should get going then right? Should we tell Mira we're leaving?" Eric blushed a little at the mention of Mira. He had ripped the door off one of her rooms. She might not be very happy with him when she found out.

[Nuridia]

"Yeah hon, I know." Salma told her boyfriend. "I know you worry about me, I'd worry about you too." "But sometimes you have to trust me when I say I'll be fine." the fire jinn said as she slowly stood up. Raphael turned to John. "Yes, we should get going." Marie smiled. "I can't wait to see our baby boy again Raph, it's been too long."

[Tomia]

Eric nodded. "I do trust you sweetheart. I just think sometimes you push yourself too hard." Eric helped his girlfriend to her feet gently. "I know how much you want to improve your skill, and I appreciate that. I just don't want you to over do it. Anyway, let's just enjoy heaven together. I hope we leave soon, before Mira realizes I broke her door." He said the last part with a sheepish smile. John nodded to Raphael and Marie. "Ya I'm looking forward to meeting Alex too." He took Aurelia's hand as he knew she, her father, and her uncles would have to take them to heaven.

[Nuridia]

"Alright everybody, let's get out of here." "It's been a painfully long time since we've seen the family." Gabriel said. Aurelia held John's hand and everybody linked hands with the four angels and each other in a circle. "Okay, now we have to say the words." Raphael and his brothers spoke in Hebrew, only Marie and Aurelia knew what they were saying. And a white light surrounded them and the whole group was transported to the same lobby Aurelia and John had visited. Amie was still there at her desk, looking bored as usual.

[Tomia]

John and his family all held hands and connected to the angels. John listened as Raphael and his brothers spoke it a language he assumed to be Hebrew. There was then a bright light an they were all transported to Heaven. When they arrived John realized this place was familiar. "Hey, isn't this the same lobby we went to when we visited?" He said to Aurelia. He then looked around and saw the same angel they had saw last time. It was a pretty girl around John's age. He wracked his mind for her name. Amie, that was it. Eric looked around. "So this is heaven? Why does it look a waiting room to a doctor's office?" He asked.

[Nuridia]

Raphael chuckled. "This isn't all of Heaven of course, this is just the main office." he told Eric. In the center of the room was a carved stone wheel embedded with jewels. "That's the portal wheel, spin it and it takes you to your destination." Uriel explained. Amie looked up at the group and smiled. "Lord Raphael, my lords. it's good to see you all again." the blonde smiled at the group. "And I see you've brought new friends." "Lady Marie." she greeted Raphael's wife. Raphael and his brothers were princes of Heaven so they all had courtesy titles. Marie laughed. "Amie, just call me Marie." "I've said it like a billion times." "It's great to see you too...I'm..." "Pregnant." Amie eyed Marie's obvious baby bump. "At your age." "Yes." Marie nodded. "We're having a girl." "Great, which lucky angel is the father?" Amie joked, knowing it was Raphael. "Uh, the one I married." Marie said back. Raphael smiled and held his wife's hand as he walked up toward Marie who hugged him.

[Tomia]

Eric blushed a little at what he now realized was a stupid comment. "Oh, ya that makes more sense." He said with a sheepish smile. John greeted Amie as well. "Hi Amie, it's nice to see you again. I'm not sure if you remember me. I'm John, I came here a few months ago with Aurelia. This is my brother Eric, his girlfriend Salma, my cousin Sam, and my parents." The Evans family all gave friendly waves to the angel. He chuckled at Amie's comment about the baby. "Well I think the answer is pretty obvious unless Marie plans to drop a bomb on all of us." He joked smiling.

[Nuridia]

Raphael laughed at Eric's joke. "Oh, that's grounds for divorce." "I love my wife but if that happened I'd be pissed and leave so quick." "I know it's not true anyway, that would be horrible." "Anyway, my wife and I are always together and she's with me every night." Raphael said, kissing his wife. "In fact, we were together last night." Marie said about her husband. "We know." Aurelia chimed in. "Also I have the power to tell when somebody's lying to me." "Including myself." Raphael said. Uriel turned to Eric. "Raph really does, he has the power to tell truth from lies." "He's like a living lie detector." "Watch this." Raphael asked his wife a question. "Baby, are you cheating on me?" he asked. "And would you ever do it?" Marie shook her head no. "No, never in my life." "I love you too much." Marie's aura started to glow but only her husband could see it and Raphael smiled. "See, she's not lying." "I'd never do that to her either, and I know I'm telling the truth." "That's a line we don't cross because we love each other." Raphael said. Marie smiled and kissed her husband in agreement. Amie smiled at the couple. "You two haven't changed a bit, still in love and all over each other like teenagers." "I bet this baby didn't stop you two from fucking huh?" the secretary asked. "Not by a long shot." Aurelia answered.

[Tomia]

Eric was surprised to hear about Raphael's ability to tell when someone was lying. "Really? That's pretty cool. Man Raphael, you and your brothers have coolest powers. I wish I was an angel." John smiled at Aurelia's comments and watched her parents, they certainly hadn't slowed down because of the baby. He heard Amie's comment. "Does everyone in heaven know how much your parents love each other?" He joked to Aurelia, although thinking it could possibly be true.

[Nuridia]

"Pretty much everybody, they're so open and out with it." Aurelia told her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Asteria was sleeping in Uriel's arms while Michael was standing at the wheel, out of armor for once and wearing a tunic and leggings. "Alright first stop Kira's house?" he asked. Raphael nodded. "We haven't seen Mother in such a long time, and I told Eric that Salma could rest there." Marie smiled at Raphael and kissed her husband's cheek.
