Russia lost about the same in 2008-9. Was that a depression?

And if Russia is in a depression, so is Europe.

Also, another reason that Germany, Italy, and Poland will not collapse is because the United States, England, and France will try desperately to keep them afloat.

Since NATO still views the Russian Federation as an immediate threat, they will want us three to be very well off.

If NATO loses those three, its game over for Europe.

Not saying like these guys individually can stop Russia, but if they can throw lots of money into it, they can defend long enough for the United States to get boots on the ground. If they fall, the United States has no landing point, and will have to perform another D-Day, in which there is no chance of winning.

As far as Germany, yes. They already had a revolt happen in their country, so their profits have dropped, and anyone who has investments within their economy are soon to drop. It isn't nearly as bad as Russia, but it is something that needs to be addressed before it gets really bad.

Go back and read the last 200 pages. About 180 of them are multiple players explaining basic economics to you and helping you understand the fact that the Russian economy is crashing. We've had this discussion numerous times. Eastern Europe and Russia are near depression, West Europe and Central Asia are in recession.
