It's very early morning so I might not be entirely coherent, but the experience I've had is that the people involved stick with the RP. On the other hand, that's usually because they're dedicated to the 'verse it's based on (Walking Dead), or, from what I'm given to understand from surface scanning (OMaT?, Elfen High) they're part of a long-running, well-thought-out RP. Or, as a lot of Elfen Highers like to say, dick jokes.

Also, Elfen High being what it is, I'm not even sure if it qualifies as 'episodic'.

It's more like each arc is the sequel to the other one, with large timeskips between and often times new plots.

The only downside of this is what Nathi touched upon here. It could be seen as encouraging people to use the TG system inappropriately plus people would be on an 'honor system' when it came to not trifling with minors.

In fact, most likely.

What I gather we will have is some five, and maybe six if Gald decides to join up police character, all except for Cy will be from last threads. Considering the police force are pretty much the only people that survived. Mainly because they never quite contacted what was going on in Sears drive. Except for Van Pelt. But she will be in a coma.
