Needs Murrica getting invaded, preferably by communists or Muslims, to attract players.

And this is why I never do RPs that have military elements as the main focus. :meh:

You know, I hear not being bitter about past RPing efforts and dismissive of prospective players in public also helps attract them.

I've given up all hope of ever OPing a thread anyway, I'm just hoping to give someone an idea that would result in an RP that interests me, even though my ideas apparently suck ass.

I get a lot of ideas....I'm trying to stop the light-speed RP making,

As you can tell, I'm failing miserably.

As I always say, when you get an idea for a roleplay, don't do anything with it for a week. Let it sit in your head. Don't even write it down.

If it's still there after a week, then it may be worthwhile.

This is necessary for me, because I usually only get the motivation and time to make an RP every 2 weeks.
At present, 5 ideas swim in the bowl.

Upon post count; I realized, that the top 10 posters in P2TM or so (which actually includes me) mostly have over 1% of the forum's post, or very near. That's pretty cool.

I hold the second highest number of posts in the forum and .47% of the total forum posts.

Which is terrifying.

You know that thing where you put your bum on a photocopier to print out silly pictures? It's like that, but you use a hoover instead.

I think another reason my RPs fail is because I don't RP often enough and when I do it's with the same few people usually. But joining in more RPs and getting more known as an RPer is tough when very few RPs interest me.

Anyways, I won't make this tell at least next week, but a Fallout RP where the Courier tries to recollect his lost past.

The Courier, the hero of the Mojave wasteland. The man who destroyed the Fiends, convinced the Followers of the Apocalypse to aid the NCR, helped ease tensions between the Mojave Brotherhood of Steel and the NCR, and finally, helped the NCR win the war against Caesers Legion, killing Caeser and Lanius, beginning the collapse of the Legion. As we all know, the only thing keeping the legion together is Caeser, and without him, or Joshua, it will just collapse.
After that, the Courier manged to convince Ulysses to not nuke the Legion or NCR, through it did...make him think. Ulysses told him the reason the divide was the way it was, because of him. This made the Courier begin to question his past, beginning to wonder who he was.

As the NCR begins it's counter offensive against the Legion, The Courier says his good byes to his companions, taking his loyal companion, Rex, with him.

The Courier is currently in Texas,in a small town called Summerside.

I know in all of the forums, Nanatsu no Tsuki has 1st and is unlikely to be dislodged having over 90k last time I checked, but in all the forums, I thought Farnhamia was 2nd. If just in P2TM... uhh...

Does it help solve constipation?

Anyway, some fairly simple maths.
Person | posts in P2TM/total P2TM posts = percent of posts in P2TM
Nightkill the monarch of a comparatively large racially disunified state| 38323/1907926 = 2.008620879%
Me, Alleniana | 24428/1907926 = 1.280343157%
Nationstateslandville | 32359/1907926 = 1.696030139%

I was gonna do more, but I got bored.

High Concept: Tension.
Genre/s: Crime/Suspense/Mystery/Action.
Detailed Description: The year is 1994, and South Africa has begun to undergo major change, with the election of its first black President, Nelson Mandela. With the election of President Mandela and a major rise in the political power of the ANC, institutions of the minority white government such as Apartheid have been struck down, while Mandela makes attempts to bring about reconciliation between the whites and blacks. While many have applauded Mandela for his strong efforts of reconciliation, others have resented the end of Apartheid, fearing as though the blacks would oppress the whites and limit the opportunities of future white South Africans. Violence is not unheard of, and in poverty-stricken areas of the nation, violence between whites and black is all too common. In the coming days, a new violent event would threaten to bring down the growing Rainbow Nation.

Welcome to the city of Johannesburg, capital of the Gauteng Province. In recent years following the striking-down of the Group Areas Act and the end of Apartheid, crime has gone up and Johannesburg has seen many businesses shut down as a result. Racial tensions are high, and many point to these tensions as the cause of the assassination of a prominent ANC politician in the city. Many blacks believe that the assassination is the work of anti-government whites who resent the end of Apartheid, while a majority of the whites are accusing the ANC of assassinating the politician so that they may use the situation as an excuse to further "Africanize" South Africa and to persecute the whites. Race riots and gang violence have begun to increase in Johannesburg, prompting the South African Police Service to respond to the chaos.

In the midst of the chaos, the SAPS is carrying out the investigation of the assassination in a unique manner. For one of the first times since the end of Apartheid, the investigation team is racially integrated, with the hopes that the appearance of a multi-racial investigation team will help to soothe accusations of racism by the police. You are one of the detectives assigned to the case, and whether you are white or black, your job is to get to the bottom of this murder. For all of you, this is a first - to be working alongside someone of a different race. However, you must put aside racial differences if justice is to be upheld.

I am considering this RP for the near future. Right now, I want some feedback on this draft.

I was just telling a person about a RP idea we had I was going into great detail about the factions and the world.

I think it was because I said it was North Korea that started the Plaque, as in, the plaque started in North Korea.

Tooth decay that turns people insane and go into a zombie like trance.

So it was a zombie apocalypse without Zombies.

There called Feral's instead.

I sure hope Kim is hiring his best assassins to track me down and kill me just for saying Best Korea caused the collapse of civilization.

Well, it spreads through two ways.

Air.

Or

Bite.

So, the DMZ had millions of insane people in a zombie like trance activating those Nuclear mines and some North Koreans going by boat to escape it, and we all know how well that goes.

North Korea is perhaps the single worst country for a plague to spread from. It's the most contained country in the world - It has the DMZ to the South (pretty much nothing short of a full military invasion could get through it), the Yalu to the North, and oceans on either side.
And I'm not sure about this, but I'm pretty sure North Koreans have pretty much no access to boats, because of exactly the defection risk that creates. They'd just book it for China or Japan.
