The best way would be if everyone drew their characters, but then again, I can't draw at all, myself, and I think most people can't either.

Expedition RP with PMCs that turns into mystery or survival horror.

Or I can do a Heavy Rain-esque RP, except with snow and a small town in the middle of nowhere replacing the rain and Philadelphia. I'll have to think up of a new MO for the killer, if I were to do this RP. It could turn into a mystery/horror RP, too.

I was thinking something more along the lines of Spec Ops: The Line where the horror part of it comes from having to deal with the consequences of morally ambiguous actions and seeing what kinds of sick things man is capable of.

Morally ambiguous? The guy straight-up mortared civilians. Nothing black and white about that.

I tried an offshoot of The Line, but it failed too.

I can't draw or describe how I imagine my characters appearances worth a crap, and I don't like using anime characters for my RP characters as much as possible, as well, hence I usually end up with using pictures of actors/actress' for my characters appearances. And I like people to have a mental image they can visualize better than you might get out of a description of said character, anyway. Though I have gotten some pretty accurate mental images of what I see a character as from descriptions before.
But then again, I don't even consider myself to be a great RP writer, anyway. Decent, but not great. There's a lot of people on this forum who put me to shame easily with their intricate details in their posts and whatnot. But I wouldn't consider myself to be BAD, just not that great. I do better at coming up with plot ideas for my characters than I do at actually writing them out. Oftentimes I mentally imagine the plot being typed out fancier than I actually execute it.

I have gotten definitely better over the years but not really significantly so. Good enough for me, though. My characters at the start were all way too alike. I still have some like that, especially with my lack of dialogue range, but it isn't as terrible as it used to be and at least I feel like I'm making interesting characters now. Though I've been going on a sort of spree where I have barely any good ideas for new characters, but my mind still has lots of ideas running through for ideas in RP's themselves.

You don't have to be terribly creative in order to be a good RPer; though a good writer is one of its traits, it isn't essential as long as you're a decent writer.
Khan, for example - he's a good writer, yes, but very rarely does he show it. (He often complains about losing something in the translation, as I said earlier, as well as being generally too lazy to construct something good in English.) He is, however, cooperative and detailed enough for others to understand what he's saying, which you need to be a good RPer
But Khan is an asshole, so don't follow his example in other regards.

How did we begin calling him Khan?

Well, I started calling him Khan a while ago; I guess others have as well, given as I'm probably the person people most frequently see him talk with nowadays.
It wasn't that long ago that most people called him Night. The majority still might, I don't pay much attention.

Why Khan though?
