He is.

I would suppose so. Unless Jamessonia objects.

EDIT: This confusion could also be an IC thing. Netherlands is in no position to argue against Russia about when they'll begin (a diplomatic victory from the start), so it would make sense to continue after Gorchakov.

Forgot to add an answer regarding Colombia. Those provinces belonged to the USC according to all the maps I've studied.

Ah, I see. Well, Belgium has replied now. :)

EDIT: Of the Quendi, sorry if it seemed like I came in without being formally called upon. It just seems like not many people had posted recently in the conference, so I thought I would come in and try to help you revive it.

Question? When did I lose Romania, Hejaz, and Tunis, and Armenia isn't independent, right? As far as I can tell, its just an autonomous region of the empire, but I may be wrong :p

Hejaz was independent after WWI, right?

On more thing: Egypt, you're going to respond, right or should I assume you've responded as per the telegram I recieved?

The Principality of Romania and the Emirates of the Hejaz and Tunis are autonomous regions. Armenia was given nominal independence, then taken over by pro-Russian revolutionaries.

You may consult the current list of autonomous regions, protectorates, princely states, etc. in the roster.

Makes sense, thanks. Can i also be in charge of the rebels within Bosnia, Montenegro and South parts of Central Serbia? I would RP them in seperate factions and groups, some of which tend to attack each other. It would make for a lot of fun in my opinion.

But there were a lot of rebels in the Ottoman empire. And most of them were starting to gain more ground in the 19th century. Most of them in Montenegro and Serbia.

It isn't really dead. The Milan Pact ilwas not created for its military factors but rather for its economic benefits. Now, if you want to leave it, you are not being held down.

Was it? I was under the impression it was created as mutual defense foremost.

As for its death, it's pretty much defunct; the Ottomans are inactive and dying, Italy too, while Chile cares not much for it, and Mexico, I suspect, too (Santiago has sorta taken over Mexico-Chilean relations)
Of the Quendi wrote:The difference is that Russia and Europe has the power to enforce Latin America to minding its own business, the reverse cannot be said.

If MICOC's purpose is to balance Russia then MICOC should abolish itself as that would serve to accomplish its goal. Russia is involving itself in Latin America because Latin America is allying with the European adversaries of Russia.

As for the Monroe Doctrine it was never more than an agreement made by America and Europe that Latin America would come under the yoke of the US rather than European colonial powers, the Monroe Doctrine never really meant anything positive for Latin America.

Russia invaded Argentina and got into cahoots with Brazil... that's hardly done anything to MICOC, which, in any case, has its main power base in Europe.

Santiago Pact will be forced to become an enemy of Russia if Russia continues to meddle. Argentina mucked with you, result, they got smacked one. Any further action is not warranted and will be met with relative hostility.

The Milan Pact was created mainly to reduce trade barriers and encourage private investment among all its members. These kind of groups do not go away when another group comes; nations can be part of many economic groups and alliances.

Would you guys be interested in trading pacts and even perhaps alliances with Serbia? It could be mutually beneficial, especially for Austria.
