The App was made for 1770, and Seljuq said that it's invalid. What's not clear is whether the First Spanish Republic would have rose and fell the way that they did RL.

Try searching the IC with 'Spain' and see if it was RP'd. If it wasn't, then you can make your choice over whether you want it to be a Republic or not.

And the app in the OP just needs a few modifications (like population) and it should be good enough.

Ok, it mentions Spain considering changing over but I don't see anything else on it. Therefore, I am going to assume that the Republic rose but in this it won't fall. Can I say that I imported artillery an machine gun designs from someone? My application template doesnt have either.

In the previous (1870) RP Amadeo of Savoy was incorrectly believed to be king of Spain from the beginning of 1870 rather than as in RL from the middle of the year and RP'ed as such. When the error was discovered (and Spain had gone vacant) a number of suggestions for what should be done with Spain was raised but as nothing was ever definitely decided upon I imagine you can do pretty much as you pleases.
