Seriously, it's long overdue.

I have to have grown.

I was the first one to make a move in Africa before others, so I would have more territory than everyone else.

Relax.

You're in this RP?

Yes, yes I am... and IC'ly, Portugal has been working five years to make way in Africa.

I did a quick search through the IC and I think that Spain, Qing China, the Ottomans and Italy are all free. There should also be some other parts of the world that might not have been played in the story. Scandinavia seems like it might be open as well.

Hope it helps. Sorry if any of those are not available. I just joined so I don't know if the current players have made some arrangements for any of those countries, but they all don't have an owner listed at the moment so I would guess they are available. :)

It gets rather confusing, as we've had three OOCs so far and we've been keeping this alive for several months. People drop in and out occasionally.

Like Portugal.

If you touch them, I will post this again and make you look at it.

They are attractive, aren't they?

You saw nothing, but can we get a more updated map? Not having one is the reason I left, since everyone seemed to ignore me conquering.

Three OOCs? Impressive. :)

I'm feeling even more grateful that I was able to sneak in as Belgium, then.

But SERIOUSLY, could someone update the map to include a largely expanded Portugal?

Persia..... In 1875 it wasn't exactly a Persian Empire or anything near to it, so I'd have to be allowed some AH for it to work. Would I be allowed to have reasonable AH using the point of departure of 1870?

Dragonry, I'd be much obliged if you control that tone of yours.

Updating OP. Including protectorates, or nations otherwise aligned to one nation. If there are any problems let me know.

Map almost done.

Argentina accepted. Reserves logged. If you want to play a nation apply.

EDIT: Dragonry has to reapply though.

Any thoughts on the Persia thing? Is AH allowed/worth it to make it viable, or should I just play something else?

I suppose some minor tinkering would be fine by my book. Do keep in mind, however, that Russian and British influence in your nation is ever on the rise.

After the defeat of Argentina, I don't think it should be considered a secondary power any longer. It barely holds the status of independent state.

Probably not going to work then, not exactly what I had in mind. (Assumed I would only be fighting the collapsing Ottomans. To make it viable, I would have to have a coup de'etat and get a better Shah, however Britain would probably destroy the nation while it was still trying to solidify itself.)

Having the Persian obsession blues? I can relate.

Well with my dreams of a Second Iranian Empire (They always called themselves that) crashing and burning into little pieces of charcoal, what else is left that is viable?
(Preferably something unique and interesting)

The Ottoman Empire itself. Or Ethiopia (which is an Egyptian protectorate, but nevermind that), if not Spain or Italy.
