Yes you can, granted you start out with 1-3 people at first. Of course you can progress to forming your own faction.

and that goal is perfectly fine. The Imperial Legion might be adverse to that ambition but its something to strive for.

Name: Fflewddur Fflam
Age (everyone starts under 500 years old regardless): 37
Birthplace: High Rock
Personal Background: Fflewddur was born in a small village in High Rock. This village had no actual name, as it was only a gathering of five or six houses and an Inn, plus a small Chapel. Most people just called it Fflam, for it was ruled by Fflewddur's family, the House of Fflam.
Fflewddur grew up normally, and was taught how to use a sword, along with speechcraft skills and cooking. But in his teens, Fflewddur realized he wanted to explore the world. On his twenty sixth birthday, Fflewddur set off for Skyrim. After a few weeks of travelling, he reached the city of Solitude. He was amazed by the large towers and great beauty of the town, but was most enchanted by the Bard's College. One stop at the famed university, and he knew that he wanted to become a bard. It was the life for him. So, with the money he had saved, he bought a harp and got an education at the College. He was at the very most a decent minstrel, nowhere near a true bard, but he was determined as ever. Fflewddur concentrated hard, learning as much as he could about the art of music. Eventually, he took to the city, playing songs and sonnets in taverns and public theatres. The money he earned was enough to get an intricate, exquisite hand-crafted harp, which played beautifully. After a long while of playing, he bought himself a nice steel shortsword, which he named Dyrnwyn. He also learned a bit of enchanting, and was able to put a minor frost damage enchantment on Dyrnwyn. He still wanted to see the world, so after a few years of living in Skyrim, he set off for Cyrodiil at the age of thirty one. He stayed in Chorrol for a few months and earned a decent living, but soon got bored, and decided to go to the Imperial City. He stopped in Weye, a small village, for one night because he was too tired to go further. A man named Brandon Merowald let Fflewddur stay at his house for one night. In the morning, Fflewddur played his harp for Brandon, who praised him. Brandon was an ex-Legionnaire, and said that the Imperial Legion could use someone like Fflewddur to raise morale and make the soldiers happy while he played music. Fflewddur got some money playing at the local inn, and amassed enough money to stay for about a month. He decided he wanted to join the legion, and set off to become an official minstrel in the Empire's army.

Family Background (optional but advised for depth): Like I said, he was born to the House of Fflam, who pretty much ruled that unnamed village.

Personal Effects at start of RP: Green tunic, black cape with hood and gold trims. Has a harp that goes on his back, and an enchanted steel shortsword called Dyrnwyn. He has blonde hair, no beard, and a very European face (high cheekbones, bony face, etc.). He's pretty skinny, and has long legs.

Very much interested, just wandering what are the rules on using custom weapons? (they would still be iron or steel quality, but not have been used such as cleavers, javelins, and bolas).

Also, if you know, is there any sort of profession or role that is lacking and would benefit with more people being apart of? Would gladly fill any role that needs filling.

I am thinking of either a very pro-imperial paladin of sorts (With a squire) who prays to Maridia or an agent of the thalmor who would worship Sanguine, Hermaeus More, or Hircine.

Why would an agent of the Thalmor worship Daedra? Don't the Thalmor believe the Altmer descend from Aedra?

Why would an agent of the Thalmor worship Daedra? Don't the Thalmor believe the Altmer descend from Aedra?

Agent of the thalmor would simply be a profession and a path to power. Plus my agent was going to be Bosmer so she wouldn't buy into the whole Altmer beliefs, more her nation is dominion so she serves.
