Sorry if my post was confusing (I can get carried away and yada yada yada). But basically she's weighing his personality, if he goes straight for pleasantries she'll think him soft and a fop. If he engages in her conversation directly she'll think him capable. Sylmara's more direct and martial than Elisif ever was.

Yes, shes seeing if she can catch him off guard by not going through the usual round of pleasantries and ass kissing that often happens among nobility.

I haven't really got involved with the political endeavours on this thread and it gets boring playing a minor character who has no influence whatsoever (Rune). This is one of the main reasons I made Falgnum

You may be missing the point of this RP. Your characters are supposed to become somebody important. Whether as a hero or a villain is up to you. Rune has more than enough potential, through his arcane knowledge.

As for a Maomer invasion an interesting idea, it probably would not be long lasting, as the last invasion destroyed the Maomer militarily to the point where Orgnum could not longer even dream of mounting anything beyond a tiny raid for centuries. Though, by now I reckon the Maomer may have some strength to be more active in the military spheres.

Exactly, Maormer haven't shown up on Tamriel in the Fourth and Third Eras so there must have been enough time to rebuild a navy, and even so. The Dominion and the Empire are already occupied whereas when the other Maormer invasions happened they were able to concentrate on it. Also the Empire's victory was largely based on the fact that they had the Psijic Order which now they don't have access to.

So the Pyandonean military should wait until several battles have happened and the war is well under way.

Yes much like the iron born. As the Maomer have the element of surprise, but not the numbers. A protracted fight would not be wise.

Actually, I already gave off a possible future for Glowing-Eye so he will not be trying to take over Tameriel.

It's the Fifth Era, bloodshed and chaos are bound to happen(for chaos!) But I chose to be a conqueror and make a interesting story with some reason behind it then just for chaos(for chaos!) Not because everyone else is doing it. He will suffer harsh penalties for the conquest that he wants to do and the sacrifices that it will take to get to that(he might lose so all of his sacrifice might be for nothing) that is just how I would like to do Glowing-Eye's story.
