Depends if we can somehow communicate telepathically, if so it will be very strange just because we act as a series of hive minds, so it would be like talking to seven people at once. If we can't, well we can use universal binary and we have genetically engineered "talkers" used to communicate with vocal species. No matter what though we will try to be peaceful.

Species (Scientific Name and a Nickname): Homo Sapiens Tenuis
Government Name: The Interplanetary Kassaran Administration Council
Government Type: Socialist-Oligarchy
Head of State (If any): Chairmen Daniels, Volas, Turk, Malinnovas; Chairwomen Johnson, Selin, Fyras.
Homestar (What you call it): Kassarus
Homeworld: Kassara Prime
Colonized Worlds: Kassara Vul, Kassara Vul II, Kassara Prime IV, Kassara Prime V, Kassara Mulin, Kassara Arhk, Kassara Delinas, Kassara Puruhkin, Kassara Seranin, Kassara Vakiri, Kassara Vakiri I, Kassara Vakiri VI, Kassara Akiri, Kassara Akiri II, Kassara Akiri III, Kassara Jul IV (There are over forty Asteroid Colonies, and two dozen more planetoid colonies, none of which will have official names listed here).
History of your Species: Originating from Sol III, we managed to leave late in the 22nd Century aboard large vessels deemed World ships. these vessels took us deep into a cluster of nearly eighty stars, with well over half being habitable by humans whether through use of moons, planets, planetoids, or asteroids. The journey took longer than expected however, even with the use of primitive FTL engines, and a lack of powerful gravity resulted in loss of bone density which allowed for longer limbs and more slender appearances. Now approximately a meter taller than their original human brethren, they have spread across the Kassara Starfield (as it has been named by them) and are a prominent race of Gravity Propulsion users. They sling Hyperion particles, a highly unstable, and dense molecule created inside special colliders, into space and then use their gravitational fields (which are stimulated by the use of concentrated particle beams) to enter hyperspace.
They currently have a culture featured around the preservation of nature and they often wear casually ancient looking apparel in the fashion of what they now popularly believe to be their actual ancestors, the fictional elves of Earth.
Appearance of your Species:
Common skin color is white. Not through ethnic singularity, but rather the lack of sunlight that was gained in space.
Common eye colors are brown and blue.
Common hair colors are brown, blonde, and white.
Average height is 3.1m.
Average lifespan is 238 cycles (about 160 Sol III Years)
RP Example: Well, I think I'll have written enough here.

Way too many damn planets and colonies.
When you consider nothing about species populations was asked about, and that the average starfield has way more than simply eighty stars. I think I was rather scampy on the number side. Numbered names are habitable moons, and our largest colony is about 2,000 strong. The home planet itself just barely has over a few million folks running about, most being urban farmers. We've given up most of our high tech devices for more comfortable lives. Besides, generally asteroid and planetoid colonies are about twenty to thirty folk, moon colonies are anywhere from 100 to 500 strong and planets are anywhere from 1,000 - 2,000 strong. In total, our race numbers something in the field of 4,000,000 and we hardly have extremely advanced tech. Just the resources to develop it if we ever found ourselves in need of it.
EDIT: I suggest adding more to the applications in the way of specifying forms of natural communication, dialect variations, ethnic variations, cultural and scientific development potential and active research into further tech advancements, alongside resource amounts, market standings (consumer heavy, heavy export/import; that sort of thing), and general population vs. military population numbers (which would be higher for perhaps nomadic or warrior species, though access to trade and higher economic functions would be significantly higher and harder).

So you need 200% more height to the top or another star chart stacked from the bottom to the top to even put me in the picture. And that's even a long shot. It's pretty much a half-century trip with FTL engines, but if you include stops that were made by the early Kassarans leaving Sol for the Star Field, that would add on an additional 200-somethign years. Better than the estimated 500+ years that would've taken crews without FTL tech to reach Kassara Prime.
