Marlowe sat in his chair in the station sipping at the coffee he had just bought at Starbucks's calmly reading the News on his phone. "Terrorists threaten to detonate Nuclear Weapons a Headline, Huh not likely", He said to himself as he took another sip. As he looked up he saw several other people arriving.

Chicago

Daniel walked with his Gloria Jeans French hazelnut blend , inbound towards the train he was riding. He watched as a man standing next to him drank Starbucks. Daniel countinued to ignore anybody by looking at his Nokia Lumia 3500, checking the arrival time of the Empire Builder. He waited patiently for the train to arrive...

Nathan Harper

Nathan stood in line at the train station, waiting to receive his ticket. He held two duffel bags, as well as a backpack, due to him coming home from college for a brief break. Nathan went to college in Chicago, for quite a few years now, being 23 years old. Without noticing, he and made his way to the front of the line.

"Ticket to Seattle, please." He said politely to the attendant. The clerk nodded, and printed off a small ticket with the words "Seattle" and "Empire Builder" on it. He walked over to the train boarding area, and leaned against the wall, looking around. He saw a man looking at his phone, and another man drinking a coffee, nothing significant just quite yet.

Evelyn stood in line and as it just so happened, the man in front of her was heading to Seattle as well. "Very coincidental', she thought to herself. She watched as he walked away and walked to the counter. "I'd like a ticket to Seattle too please." She said in a quiet voice. The man did so and she paid, then walked away following the man who previously bought a Seattle ticket. She leaned against a pillar and sat on the ground leaning against it then pulled out her headphones and clipped them onto her ears and began listening to her iPod. Evelyn tucked it inside her jacket pocket and pulled a notepad and pencil out of her duffel bag then began to draw.
"Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum."
"Wewf Forever, Forever Wewf."
"Is it? Or is it so ridiculous it's the most ridiculously perfect idea you've never thought of?"

As the Empire Builder was almost ready the passengers were ordered to start to board the train and find their seats immediately. So Marlowe turned and walked towards the boarding platform eager to return home to Montana. He threw his coffee in a trash can and climbed aboard the train sitting down into his seat in an Observation car.

Evelyn watched the train arrive and put her notepad and pencil away. She stood up and got in line to board then looked at her ticket and took her seat which was in an Observation car. She sat by the window and wondered if anybody would sit beside her. Evelyn pushed her duffel bag under her seat and stared out the window. She sighed softly and leaned back in her seat. "I hope this ride is over soon.." She said to herself.

Daniel got on the train after watching it pull up. He picked up his duffel bag and walked towards his seat and set it down. He then pulled out his Lime-Green Headphones, and selected the Pyromania Album for Him to listen to on the trip to Montana. He lay back and closed his eyes. Then he checked to make sure he didn't forget his Personal Defense Pistol and Hunting Rifle. After checking, he was relieved. How would he go hunting if he didnt have his weaponry. Now finally he could get some rest, He then proceeded to look out the window at the passing scenery...

With a sigh, Augustus continued to pack his bags for the coming trip. He had already bought his ticket yesterday after calling his boss to arrange for a two week vacation from work. The break up had been bad, and he had characteristically withdrawn from contact for a few days in order to cope with the situation. In that period of time, his now ex-girlfriend had spread several false rumors around that he had been the unfaithful one in the relationship. While these rumors were utterly false and he had said is much, he had decided it was best to go on a hunting trip out of town to clear his mind. Thus, he now held a ticket for a trip to Essex in the other side of the State. He was definitely looking forward to this excursion.

Marlowe watched as the skyline of Chicago receded into the night as the train rolled out into the farmlands of the Midwest. He put a pillow behind his head and reclined trying to find a comfortable position to sleep as he couldn't he finally gave up after about twenty minutes of trying to and pulled out his phone. What he saw was the same story as from earlier about the group know as the Anti-Societal Union had threatened yet again to detonate nuclear weapons. Marlowe shook his head yet again and went back to trying to sleep.
