That would be quite rare, nevertheless I can't mark out that possibility...it would be quite an unlucky (or lucky depending on how you see it) combination of genes where the metahuman factor remains dormant (which means it could in theory be activated via artificial means)

The Origin of Metahumans started around the age of antiquity or ancient times when the tiste would breed with a mortal human, spawning the first metahumans.

Their numbers probably increased around medieval times when many of the exiled Horas settled on earth.

In modern times, with the metahuman bloodline now far extended across the globe, methumans can arise from two 'normal' humans, as long as the genes are in order, or if due to a mutation occurring in real life, either caused inherently by the genes or due to an outside source.

If a metahuman were to get together with another metahuman then in most cases their child would also be a metahuman.

Basically, Supers have the potential to come from both metahuman backgrounds or normal human backgrounds.

That depends on how the family views metahumans, and how they view their metahuman child, and how its powers affect their lives.

Powers/Abilities:

Lightning manipulation: She can generate, put out, and transform electricity

Fire Manipulation: She can do the same with fire

Flight: She has black dove shaped wings and can fly. She can also hide her wings under her clothing to prevent being discovered

Healing fire: She can generate fire that heals

Drawbacks:

Fire Manipulation: Nami cannot control the flames if she is rendered unconscious, She cannot create fire when soaking wet, and oxygen needs to be present when maintaining fires.

Lightning manipulation: Nami may shock herself if she is soaking wet, Her lightning can be re-directed by lightning rods or other objects that re-direct electricity, and can lose control of it if she falls unconscious

Flight: Her wings are hard to hide and when she stretches her wings she could tear her shirt wide open,

Personality: She is a very nervous girl at the time of her family's death but she loves to listen to music and play video games like children do.

Bio: She comes from a family of metahumans that proclaim to have descended from Tiste Longa and Hora by the wings they have implanted on their backs to their ability to manipulate fire. She was in elementary school when the city was imbued with chaos and soon followed with the destruction of the Town Hall. In elementary school she faced some discrimination because of her wings along with the unknown ability to control fire and lightning.
