Cuba isnt blockaded by the USA. The USA imposed an Embargo. An Embargo is not the same thing as a blockade. In an embargo a country refuses to import or export anything from another country in other words extreme trade restriction. A blockade is an act of war that basicly invoves shooting at anything that comes out of a countries harbors.

The Islamists do not have a power base in the north, they operate in the south. Internally, Somaliland just has the same problem as other African nations, Money! Plus a few other small things that come with the territory of being under embargo by the United Nations. And yes actually My next IC post was going to include a request for Development and Military Aid from Iran and Spain (Not that Spain would)!

The Islamists do not have a power base in the north, they operate in the south. Internally, Somaliland just has the same problem as other African nations, Money! Plus a few other small things that come with the territory of being under embargo by the United Nations. The Somaliland Economy is reliant on three things; Agriculture, Remittances, Duty on goods being Imported by Ethiopia (that pass through Somaliland territory) so a Trade agreement could help with new foreign investment, and recognition of Somaliland territory is a big one. Lastly, a military deployment would be risky as the UN does not recognise Somaliland (help with changing that would be useful) and Brazil is deeply involved with the UN, it could damage your relationship with the United Nations; It would be more useful if you gave us some military aid and advisers (Naval in particular).
