OHHH yes.

My military build up is in Response to China. While NATO may not care, I'm afraid of what China may be attempting to do. So stare at the Chinese before you get mad at me. I've already submitted a letter to the UN about my issues, and if the UN collectively decides China is being a dick, I will take that budget out of the Military and put it elsewhere.

Actually, that is wrong. As social security is privatized, other tax laws in Germany will be getting increased revenue, and a lot of the money will be coming from healthcare as well, which also, because of the new law, more laws will have increased revenue.

So, I'm simply shifting how I am getting my revenue, and technically I'd be getting more revenue from the laws.

I'm not an idiot. I though all of it out.

As Japan, i'm not too worried about Germany increasing military spending. I'd probably welcome it to counter China. If it was reasonable. Your budget increase makes me wonder if Merkel just finished reviving Hitler who is now hell-bent on establishing the Fourth Reich. I'm just worried that it's not very realistic. Maybe if you doubled your military budget to around $80bill that would be more realistic (still hugely outrageous, but within the bounds of realism).

Especially since they could never really "break away" when I control Hong-Kongs national-security.

EDIT: Why is germany even sowing dissent in China anyway... I have the second largest military...And they tried it with Hong-Kong, who is literally controlled by me. China picks the politicians. Either way Hong-Kong, wanna RP in some way?

Though I don't know much about Germany or German culture, I don't think they're the type to just completely cut off public healthcare and welfare and start boosting up military spending, and I definitely don't think Germans are the type to let their government do such a thing.
