Yes, apparently honey mead is a traditional drink in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Who knew?

I think it's important to note that Africa at this time is a different beast then Australia/North and South America at this time; where North/South America and Australia only had wandering Nomads with barely any expertise in War Fare, Africa is a lot more violent, and a lot more powerful. It wasn't until more powerful guns, as well as the first Machine Guns, came around that Large Scale African Colonies happened. At most, your going to get a couple of South African Cities on the Coast, and that's it.

Meh, depending on the Ship (I don't know what Kind of Ships you got), I would say anywhere from 2 Weeks to 1 1/2 Months... It all depends on the Ship.

It only took Christopher Columbus 5 Weeks (Near 1 1/2 Month) to get to America from the Canaries. So I stand by my statement.

I know, but historical Poland-Lithuania is positively gargantuan; Lithuania had most of Ukraine, Belarus, most of Kievan Rus, while Poland extended from all the modern polish coast, tapering down, very slowly, to Bessarabia. And 8 mil was a high figure; most sources (admittedly few) put it closer to 7 mil, even 6.

Considering Crown of Castile is much larger than just Iberian Castile, I think 5 mil (also taking into account the wars that Aragon and Spain are enduring) is a good number.
