History of country: Longer lived and more advanced than they were IRL at this time. The Kingdom of Cuzco was founded in 1100 and started to expand soon after. Inca Puptai I began the expansion. Through over eight Incas and centuries of development, the Inca have become the most advanced, socially and technologically, nation in the New World. Today they own all of Peru and Ecuador, plus most of Chile, Bolivia, Columbia, some of Brazil and Argentina.
Goals for RP: Colonize Galapagos Islands, conquer tribes to north(short term); advance in technology to the point that Europeans do not DESTROY me and earn their respect. Eventually dominate most of South America.

Basically, Kalmar happened, then some wars and whaddeva unified the country, especially the one where Finland became independent (whatever it is). The country, centralized from these pressures, got stronger and more unified, under a series of good kings. With this, it zoomed ahead as far as it could in tech, and is pretty dang good today.

If we can start with colonies (which I must say, I don't consider fair, and therefore am in favor of nobody starting with one) I'd like to request the Cape or Puerto Rico.

I think we are supposed to be the mapped out nations, though I may be wrong.

I doubt Vinland would be considered retaking, I mean, the settlement there was quite short IIRC.

I'm not sure how successful a colonization of Alaska would be in that time.......
