This RP takes place in the aftermath of a very different second world war than the one we know today. Several events in the past have helped to shape the outcome. This RP should be regarded as an alternate history rp, where the world has been devided between a number of large powers. It shall begin in 1946 AD and last as long as we want it to. So prepare to delve into a world where freedom means nothing, take your place on the stage, will you bring freedom and democracy back to the people of Earth, or will you crush these petty ideals and take the planet for yourself.

The Third Reich (black)South Eastern Xiatao
Adolf Hitler was mostly victorious in his mission to conquer Europe. Most of the East and West sit under his thumb. However Britain and The Soviet Union remain annoyingly independant. Germany also holds large tracts of land in North Africa, however the Ottoman Empire remains steadfast in its freedom. Hitler may seem victorious however he will have to be diligent to prevent his empire from crumbling beneath him.

The United Iberian Empire (yellow)Tiberium Imperium
Spain has survived and prospered, being the only power to succesfully maintain its full colonial empire in the Americas. Still under the control of a constitutional monarchy, King Huarvo remained neutral during the major conflict of the second world war. However he did take the oppurtunity of chaos in Europe to annex the Portugese Empire and annex all remaining foriegn colonies in South America and the Carribean. If the Iberian Empire is to survive it must fight off the threats of both the Reich and the hungry Confederate States of America.

The Ottoman Empire (Grey)Victorii and Halosis
The only remaining major muslim power, the aging Ottoman Empire has lived on for centuries. It chose to remain mostly neutral during the war, only joining to unsuccesfully defends its North African and Balkin provinces against Germany. It also took the oppurtunity of the war to conquer the remaining independant muslim nations. Sultan Mehemt the Wise's empire seems out of place in this world of European powers, but it is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

The British Empire (Red)Zatak
Winston Churchill leads a decaying nation, it brutally lost in its conflict against the Nazis after Russia pulled out of the war in 1944. This resulted in the loss of Northen Ireland and all its colonial provinces exept for India, however Canda, fearing by the Japanese, re-established itself as a British colony. After this terrible defeat parliament declared Churchill a despot and placed the empire under marshal law. The empire looks in a terrible state, but the old lion has some bite left in her and will surely have one last attempt at victory.

Imperial Japan (Green)
Now certainly the greatest power in Asia, Japan rules with an iron fist over its newly gained provinces.But Emperor Hirohito sits on a shaky throne, his empire consisting of many different cultures all yearing for freedom. His harsh persecution has not gone unnoticed amoung the provincials. Japan will no longer be able to count on the support of Germany in the future. Will the empire prosper or will it collapse within itself, it is impossible to know.

The Confederate States of America (Dark Blue)
The confererate victory in the civil war created a new state in place of the union. Slavery and persecution of blacks increased ten fold, leading to the eventual slave revolt and the establishment of the highly militant African American Free State. President Samuel Andrews remained neutral during the war, concentrating his efforts on building up his military to protect against the threats of Iberia and The Free State. The confederacy must fight off all its neighbours if it hopes to survive.

The Soviet Union (Brown)Alscace
The Soviet Union stands in a powerful position to reclaim Europe. Hitlers invasion of Russia was easily repulsed, the German soldiers were sent screaming back to their fatherland, the red army in hot persute. Joseph Stalin promptly joined the allied forces. But come the year of 1944, the Russians saw the cause as hopeless, the Eastern front was stable but not advancing, and the Western front under the British had totally collapsed. So Stalin left before the war was totally lost, making a truce with Hitler and taking his armies back home having suffered minimal losses. However Stalin may soon choose to re-enter Europe and crush his former enemies.

The African Federation (Light Purple)
Not a nation persay, but instead a loose union of independant nations under an elected chairman. The great war was seen as an oppurtunity by the oppressed natives of Africa, they rose up in turn and threw off their weakened colonial masters. These new nations saw that their position was un-certain as long as they remained disunited this lead to the African Federation, a union of every African state excluding the Boer Republic. Under the elected chairman Mputa Jackson, this new loose assortment of nations has an uncertain future, but perhaps the homeland of humanity will come to dominate the species once more.

The People's Republic Of China (Dark Purple)
A quick communist win in 1938 enabled a coordinated defense against the Japanese. Chairman Mao Zedong now leads the greatest remaining independant Asian power. His nation stands as a bulwark against the Japanese. In fact China's empire has grown over the years of the war, mongolia and tuva, fearing Japanese conquest and persecution, ceeded there lands to the republic and became vassals of China. If China is to remain independant, it must strike first, and perhaps win an Asian empire of its own.

The African American Free State (Light Green With Black Lines Running Through)
Born out of the blood of many confederate soldiers, the free state holds perhaps the most highly trained army in the Americas. These former slaves are determined to protect their independance at all costs. Remaining completely neutral during the war, President Jeremiah Reynolds kept a watchful eye trained on both the British in Canada and the Confederate States, searching for any sign of attack. The Free State will surely protect its right to freedom and democracy, but will it hope to achieve higher goals, perhaps revenge on its former masters.

The Boer Republic(Light Blue)-Uragarr
General Abraham Borst rules a young state, rebelling against the British early in the century, the Boer population formed a facist dictatorship. Borst then procceded in his dream to create a uni-racial republic. He began a mass exodis of both white English speakers and native Africans. When the second world war began, the Boers joined the side of the Axis. The republic mangaged to conquer Madagascar, Lesotho and Swaziland. As well as most of Southern Africa in a seperate war against the young African union. The Boers have maintained their independance through the use of camouflage and guerilla tactics. If the Boers are going to maintain their racial purity, they will have to fight for much longer and much harder than ever before.

-For the purposes of this RP small nations will generally have more disciplined armies than large ones, or will have one strength that is keeping them independent (the two 'small' nations are the african american free state and the boer republic, both have strengths, the african americans have highly disciplined troops and the boers are experts in guerilla fighting)
-Large empires will generally have access to more troops then small nations
