War.... War is one of the most recognized times in human history, if not the most. Humans have raged wars over many things throughout their existence. In ancient Greece, the Greeks razed the city of Troy over the King of Sparta's pride. On Earth, during the 1770's, the American colonies revolted against their British rulers, and won. From 1861-64, America fought itself over the rights of its own states in the American Civil War. 19-teens, the entire world battled in the first World War. In 1939, the German leader Adolf Hitler made deal with the Emperor of Japan and they started a devastating campaign to take over the world. Not even fifty years had passed since World War I, and the second World War had begun. It ended in 1945, with Germany and Japan severely crippled economically and militarily.
Now, the humans of Earth have traveled to the planet Sera, where they found a miracle fuel called Imulsion. They formed two governments; the Coalition of Ordered Governments, or COG, and the Union of Independent Republics, or UIR. Then they became greedy. A long and bloody war was initiated, now known as the Pendulum War, and it is nearing its end. The COG is winning, and the treaties have started forming. Will the UIR agree to become a part of the Coalition, or will they refuse and keep the war raging.
Only time will tell.....
Now that we have that over and done with, I am Terripin Array. This is a character RP set in the universe of the Gears of War franchise. You, as the player, will create either a COG Gear or a UIR Indie as the Pendulum War comes to a close and a new enemy emerges....

Personality: Sanchez is very anti-COG. He will follow his orders, but only vaguely.
Bio: A proud soldier of the UIR, Sanchez had a deep hatred for the COG, even for a UIR soldier. He was the son of a soldier, so his father trained him in the arts of war since he was six years of age. Sanchez joined the militia of his hometown, serving as an military police officer before the town was raided by COG forces. Now a POW, Sanchez vowed to destroy the COG for razing his home and family. A COG Gear had seen him fight valiantly and decided he could use a man with Sanchez's talents for war. Sanchez was pardoned, given a rifle, and then served under Sergeant Dmitri Krohw, a Gear who was sympathetic to the UIR.
RP Sample: Carlos Sanchez let out a stream of curses in his native tongue as he crouched behind a car, looking to his squad's leader: Dmitri Krohw of the COG. "Krohw!" Sanchez yelled, getting the man's attention. "We need to leave now!!" He stood, letting out a burst of fire from his Lancer assault rifle. Krohw threw an incendiary grenade as Sanchez crouched again. "Krohw, goddamn it, NOW!!" He yelled, pulling at the older man. Krohw shoved him away, turning toward him.
"We stay the course, soldier," Krohw said, pointing at Sanchez. "We stay and defend this position. Grab your balls and fight on!!" As he turned back toward the enemy, a Longshot sniper rifle was fired. The round found its mark; Krohw's head exploded in a geyser of blood and flesh. Sanchez watched in shock as the sergeant's body hell to its knees, then to the ground with a thud.
