Champions can convert generalized Resources (not wheat/wood) into Experience, not things like wheat and wood into generalized Resources.

Hah. Do you say that because of Pruss? Because you'll note that his wheat sheaf is 12 food, not any more- the exact amount Kon's warrior gleaned, in point of fact. The Wheat itself is simply the delivery method of the Food.

Actually both count as Influence; Wood is just important enough to be tracked as something you might not just use like dirt. You don't see me tracking "Sticks" as a resource, do you?

Congrats on becoming Sovereign of the Gods, despite the odds.

Kl'Qule and Naetralkyvna have also been elevated to be part of the Pantheon.

In the hearts of all of henotheistic humanity, these three are viewed as the most Divine.

True, but why /can't/ I? Sure, it's not nice refined planks or whatever, but it's still useful.

I think, if influence is looked at as random bits and bobs, it makes more sense; you gather wood, you also scrape off a couple of mushrooms and leaves, and you can gather a few pebbles and twigs notwithstanding, stone, you get a couple of sparkly rocks and some dust, and all of it, pushed into a pile is influence.

Is that a good-ish anaology?

It's mainly just a defense bonus, with a bonus to generating Divinity to try to chase the Sovereign. The Sovereign, in turn, gets some nifty bonuses, but no bonuses to generating Divinity, so holding on to their lead might prove difficult.

Technically, sites have a max amount of followers that can use them, depending on their type; Forests and Wheat Fields, for instance, can deal with twenty followers per site harvesting them before they have a chance of starting to be exhausted. We've only had that limit reached a few times though, and the roll for exhaustion came out well, so it hasn't been an issue.
