Sec smiled, and kissed Dunder on the lips. "That sounds nice." he said, "We can find something outside that doesn't have to involve killing people. We just have to go out and look." The zebra hugged Dunder, tightly. "Now let's rinse off, before somepony starts wondering what's going on in here." Sec said with a snicker.

"This place is under populated, I doubt anypony knows we are in here." Dunder said and licked Sec's cheek. "But let's just go out and see what happens." Dunder said as he shut off the water and gave Sec a light smack on the flank with a wing.

Sec giggled when Dunder smacked his flank. "Yeah. This place is quiet." he said, getting out of the shower, "Too quiet, I think." Sec took a towel, and started drying himself off. "I wonder where the boss, and my brothers went off to." said the zebra, drying his legs, "Perhaps we'll find them in town."

Paradise nodded slightly and leaned back, stroking Whisper's mane. "You look a little agitated Tacitus, what's wrong?" she asked with an innocent smiled, and Whisper only sighed in response.

"It was nothing, just had a row with somepony from back when I did my work. I said some things, and he took them a little too seriously is all," Whisper said assuringly with a smile.

Paradise nodded and grinned, "Well, I'm glad you're okay."

The Tribegrounds
Scribe scrawled at the papyrus for a moment and distantly looked up, "Well... Maybe once I finish this draft, you could go around, make sure I got everypony's name right."

Compound
Pitch slightly rolled his emerald green eyes. "Of course it's a good thing that Whisper is alright." he said, "He just needs to learn what not to say about people, that's all." Pitch really didn't care about Whisper's motivations. He just wants to be the bat-pony's friend and that's it. No violence needed. "Next time, Whisper, please keep your mouth shut is you got nothing nice to say."

Tribe
Shade smiled warmly. "That'll be an excellent idea, Scribe." he said, "I'll be sure to make sure that each name you get is spelled correctly. Just let me know when, you're ready."

The Compound
Whisper sighed and buried his face back into Paradise's mane. Frankly, she was a little concerned over Whisper's behavior lately. It seemed ever since they had come to the Compound his attitude had deteriorated. First that other bat pony filly came to Ghost's house, now she found him with bruises in the morning. She knew he had been in a scuffle of some sort, she heard the albeit short struggle the night before. "Ponies just need to learn to take a joke," Whisper mumbled into into Paradise's mane.

The Tribegrounds
Scribe looked up from his papyrus happily and slid it over to Shade. "Anytime that's convenient for you now, just finished," he said proudly and sat back down. Scribe hoped Shade could get this done fast, the sooner he got the list checked and finalized, the sooner he could work on a full census, and charter.

Pitch rolled his eyes again. "A joke? Really?!" he said, "You think saying that somepony deserved to die, is fucking joke?! What kind of sick mind, do you..." However, Pitch shook his head. "Never mind." he said, "I use to have such a sick mind, not too long ago." The ghoul unicorn glared at Whisper. "Whisper, your philosophy is wrong! Nightmare Moon is wrong to demand all that blood!" Pitch sort of figured out Whisper's motivation some time ago. "Do you want to know why Nightmare Moon is wrong? Because I was wrong! I was wrong to murder all those ponies throughout the past two hundred years! Just as you were wrong to kill your own people!" Pitch Black didn't care that Paradise was listing, and how it will affect Whisper's relationship with her. He now wanted to expose Whisper for the murderer he is. "Ever since Sunflower died, I've seen the error of my ways! What is it going take for you to see the error of your ways?!" asked Pitch, in near-hysteria.

Shade stood up. "Excellent." he said, "Can I have a look, before we get going, Scribe?" Shade was interested to see how Scribe has written the new laws, and wonders if they have been made to his design. He took the papyrus from Scribe, and started reading it.

Whisper stood up slowly, leaving Paradise in a state of shock, and confusion. Whisper had a manic look in his eyes. Not the psychotic manic, but the angry type of manic. It was as if every pore of Whisper's body was radiating rage and venom. "When Nightmare Moon descends from the sky herself, and tells me so," he half-snarled, half-hissed coldly. Paradise had seen somewhat of a darkside from Whisper, specifically when they first met, but this was different. Whisper slowly settled himself down at Paradise's side, though he glared back at Pitch, "At least when I worked for Opium, he agreed with my methods..."

The Tribegrounds
Scribe smiled shyly and looked at the other papyrus strewn across the messy tent. "Uh... It's... It's not quite done yet... I've been caught up in some uh, private problems..." Scribe sheepishly explained.

Whisper remained silent and inhaled the sweet scent of Paradise's mane. He really wasn't in the mood to argue right now, especially with Paradise in the room. Reluctantly, he tore himself away from the neck of Paradise and shot another glare at Pitch. Whisper was beginning to become tired of this conversation, and the subject in general. "I'm going to be blatantly honest Pitch. I wish I never came to Seaddle. I should of stayed in New Appleloosa, and monitored activities for Opium like I was there to do in the first place. The only consolation is that I met you," Whisper said to Paradise, and kissed on the nose.

Scribe nodded and sat down next to Shade. "As you said, we will be keeping some of them, and I've made the necessary additions and revisions to the original laws so that they'll suit our more tolerant views," Scribe explained, "The first law is Princess Luna holds dominion over all beings and should be respected and loved accordingly, the second is the Elder is the voice of the Lady, and the Whisper, or whatever we shall call them now, is the sword of the Lady. The third is to protect the tribe, the name of the Lady, and the tribe's goals first and foremost. The fourth is all sacrifices of ponies for ritualistic reasons are to be banned eternally. Finally, the final, and fifth, is that cannibalism is banned as well..."

"Are you sure?" Whisper murmured to Paradise, standing outside of Pitch's room. She had convinced him to try to talk things through with his friend, though now Whisper was beginning to have second thoughts.

Paradise smiled and gently pressed her lips against his cheek. "You'll be okay," she said as she pulled away.

"...I changed my mind..." Whisper said nervously and turned away.

However, before he could flee back to his own room, Paradise had already rapped at the door with her hoof, "Pitch? Whisper has something to say to you."

Whisper scowled at her and childishly slunk back to her side in front of the door.

Scribe nodded, "Yeah... Yeah, okay, thanks." He smiled broadly and stepped out of the tent and into the sun. Scribe felt anxious about the census, knowing he'd have to talk to her. "Alright, l-let's get to it," Scribe said with a nod of his head.

Pitch was in his room, flinging knives at the wall, and retracting them with his magic. He felt sad that he must trod this path to righteousness, alone. Why must Whisper be so stubborn? Pitch asked himself, as he flung a knife at the wall, It feels lonely being on this path without him. Pitch retracted the knife. I just hope that his actions doesn't lend him in trouble. he thought.

Shade's face went blank at Scribe's question, and he bit his lip with a fang, causing it to bleed a little. He thought about how he told Invidea that he loved her. Then, Shade smiled, and placed a hoof on Scribe's shoulder. "If I were you." he said, "I would start complementing her a bit. Try some flirts, even. However, the most important part is to just be yourself."

The Tribegrounds
Scribe nodded, "Yeah... Yeah, okay, thanks." He smiled broadly and stepped out of the tent and into the sun. Scribe felt anxious about the census, knowing he'd have to talk to her. "Alright, l-let's get to it," Scribe said with a nod of his head.

Pitch threw a knife, and quickly retracted it, when he heard the knock on the door, and Paradise's and Whisper's voice. He sighed, before jumping out of bed, and went to open the door. Pitch was actually glad that Whisper now wanted to talk. "Come in friend." he said, "What do you want to talk about?"

Tribe
Shade smiled, and opened the tent for Scribe, allowing him to exit first. He followed Scribe out of the tent, and looked around the tribegrounds. He spotted a tent close by. "We should go to that one, first." said Shade, walking towards the pointed direction, with Scribe following. He knocked on tent flap. "Elder Eclipse here, with Scribe. for a census" said Shade, "Please open up."

Whisper sighed and walked in. As he entered he shot a look at Paradise that made her giggle slightly. Awkwardly, Whisper sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at Pitch. "I-I'm sorry about my behavior. I won't change... But... In order to spare our friendship I'll try to... moderate myself," Whisper said like a disciplined child telling his mother what she wanted to hear. In a way, he did good, as Paradise had her ear cocked to the door and was listening intently.

The Tribegrounds
Scribe gulped and looked down at his hooves nervously. Why of all tents did it have to be this one. With legs shaking from anxiety, Scribe wobbled over to Shade's side as a filly that looked to be about fifteen opened the tent flap. Her mane was cut short, her mane all tossed to one side of her head. Unlike most Umbra bat ponies, her coat was a smoky grey, and her eyes were a soft pinkish color. Not a demonic red like Invidea's or Whisper's, but more like the color of old cotton candy. "Yes?" she asked with a smile, causing Scribe to make an odd choking noise.

Paradise only nodded, and Whisper looked up at Pitch with a sly grin, "Sure Pitch, yeah, we're cool." In all honesty, that wasn't nearly as bad as Whisper had suspected to be. Once the first word came out of his mouth, everything just followed suit. It felt a little good too, making up with Pitch, it certainly took a load off his chest he had one less pony to worry about.

The Tribegrounds
"My name is Candesco, my title, is, er- was Songstress. Do titles carry over?" she asked, slightly worried. Being Songstress in the Umbra wasn't something big, but it was definitely something that she had enjoyed. There wasn't much fighting involved and her day consisted of nothing but singing, or playing an instrument when one could be supplied.
