I know. But laughing to yourself creepylike is fun.

Damn, today was busy. Promise will edit ICpost tomorrow

You can probably go to war with the CSA now. I suggest you do more than just steam roll them though.

There is no such thing as 'too much land'.

And the only land I'm interested in is land that has oil under it.

Question for RP: How would an airship communicate with troops on the ground during this time period? Would it be possible?

Erm, Aldel, you realize that Germany is a player and your post is effectively God mod, right?

I am not taking over, I am destroying 1 large fort just over the border, hence my attempt So Far. He needs to respond with military force. It IS called an OP weapon for a reason.
To make it a little less so, I added that 1 of the bombers was destroyed in the attempt. For example, if both of your air dreadnoughts attacked one fortress with thousands of troops and a squadron of airships behind them, it would fall pretty fast. He can still make a come back, as long as he sends an army with air support quickly.

I don't know about that response pretty much I'm thinking there would be German forces on the border if they would be ready for a surprise invasion I'm not sure but destroying any size of fort without letting that fort owner respond does seem like god modding.

Ok, I can delete the post, but I kinda resumed the war before you could marshall a large enough force to oppose me, and I used all of my Super Weapons (See my super weapon app on page 22.) I will delete it for now so we can decide whether it is god-modding or not.

Discuss the war out with Halleon. Don't just be like "I will win here and here because POLAN STRENG", realistically think what would happen if you surprise-attacked the Germans. The Germans are sure to respond with their own Superweapons if you attack with your own as well - so I would keep that in mind.

In my honest opinion, I wouldn't attack Germany alone. If you catch my drift.

I'm not seeing much about Germany well the old player actually declaring war besides a post from yourself that pretty much states Germany has mobilized its military forces on the border which means there are German Forces on the border ready for action and that German forces have already been mobilized.

Aleksander Kaczmarek, President of The Republic of Poland, watched the soldiers filed by Polish Capitol. News of Germanian forces mobilizing on the Western front had thrown The Board of Defense. into a frenzy of activity. Ever since 1571, when the Germania army had captured the Western Provinces, the two countries had been in some kind of conflict, however the bloody Polish-Germanian war had abruptly ended when the USSR declared itself to be on the side of the Poles in 1610. Many of the board members had never been obliged to send their countrymen into battle before, but reports of large armies amassing on the Western border of Poland looked to be resuming hostilities, terrorizing villages up and down the border. The last of the soldiers marched past, and formed ranks in the city's center, bolt action rifles strapped across their backs. The soldiers wore corrugated steel helmets, and uniforms designed to blend in with the terrain of the former Western Provinces. As the officers made speeches, hoping to raise the morale of the soldiers, Kaczmarek only hoped that they would come home alive.

A boy, aged 7, sleeps within a house on the outskirts of town. His mother is in the kitchen making breakfast. She has lines of worry on her face. The postman rushes in the door: "Letter from The Defense Board, Ms.! By this time, the boy is awake. She opens the letter, reading out loud:

"We regret to inform you that your husband, Albert Kaczmarek, has been killed in action. You will be sent his pension monthly.
Long live the Republic,
-Dominik Walczak, Commander of the Armed Forces."

Edit: Actually looks like your treating Germany as a NPC just with the above post which might be fine if their wasn't a Germany player but if there was that post could be considered god modding. I'm not gonna complain much because your gonna be seen as the aggressor in this war.

Indeed.

For some reason, I feel like engaging Russia in a war. Nothing to do with Poland-Germany, but perhaps to regain the Baltic states, Karelia, and Murmansk. I believe we may be the only nation capable of invading Russia in the dead of winter, so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Eh, I think massive causalities is a different meaning to both me and Russia. I could obliterate half a million men while losing 70,000 and still feel the harsh effects while Russia would be able to retreat and regroup. I believe if I strike quickly enough, I can knock the Red Bear down a couple pegs and retake lost land in the Baltics - but will forever have an angry enemy on my east. It will be brief and unbelievably brutal, but war nonetheless.

Post Deleted, there hadn't been a war yet on the thread, and as I am unfamiliar with RP'ing a war I didn't really think through how we were going to go about it. Essentially, the previous German player had claimed land from where RL Poland is, so I included that in my History. I made the post, and then told him that we were at war. A few hours later he left. I guess him leaving could have influenced that, as he probably would have responded to my original post otherwise. Sorry. Anyhow, we are/were at war, and we will start officially tomorrow, with Battle of the Fort V2.
The Stakes: If I win, I take back the part of Poland that Germania took.
If you win, my army is decimated and it takes years to rebuild.

OR: You cede the land taken to me, and we don't lose most of our armies in a bloody conflict, and war would be more likely IRL.

OR: I bide my time until somebody else attacks you, or you attack me* and then I attack

Either way I am going to make an attempt to take back the Western Provinces before 1630.
*Probably going to go with this. Making the first move was kind of a hasty decision, but at the time I thought that it was a logical follow up to my first post.

I could see that happening, but at the same time, I think the USSR would try to get me to take Greenland from you at the same time they launch a counter offensive

Sorry, as I said earlier, TBH I have never RP'd a war before, and due to the long time period between posts, I assumed that I would destroy something as the aggressor, and then Germania would respond by attacking my forces in the area. I think I know what a god-mod is in the context now. Also said earlier, I have to leave soon so if I decide to continue with a war I will organize forces around the fort tomorrow, and let him respond.
