Economy: A Command Economy done right- it is completely state-owned, efficient, well-organized, and productive; and contrary to what capitalist economic experts would predict, it is experiencing growth, quite rapid growth in some areas.
Infrastructure: Rapidly industrializing. Agriculture, mining, etc. are major industries.
Army: 800,000 men. Most soldiers are equipped with rifles; however, basic submachine-guns and machine-guns are in service in smaller numbers. Several types of armored vehicles are in service with the Red Army. This is an incomplete list, just to show a few examples:

Aside from an air fleet, there is also an Air Force, which possess around 200 aircraft.
Goals: To forge friendly relations with the nations of the world; to expand its own sphere of influence; to encourage the spread of Communism and to show by example why Communism is an excellent system.
History: The Tsardom of Russia expended much more quickly in this timeline, and rapidly became a huge empire. However, the common people only became poorer and poorer while the nobility and the monarchy became richer. There came a point when the masses could no longer tolerate their conditions, and so they rose up against their oppressors, guided by the words of the top revolutionaries, shattering the old regime and constructing in its place a Socialist state that can provide for everyone. The various nations that were formerly part of the Russian Empire became Soviet Socialist Republics, Russia itself became the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.

The new Republic has been on shaky ground for the last two years as the rebuilding and industrialization of the nation continues, though it won its war for Independence, the future is still up in the air as the President and her cabinet fight to bring Canada onto the global stage.
